I first met Michael at a networking event. I spoke to him about how Hii Comms could help me and my business. Michael was honest and told me that it wasn't worth me moving my phones over to them yet, as the transfer costs and to buy out of my current contract, would not be worth it. I really appreciated his honesty.

We then needed our broadband looking into. Not only has Hii Comms reduced our costs but the service they provide is second to none. Michael is always on hand with any questions I have. Nothing is ever too much trouble!

Plus the engineers were friendly, helpful and professional.

Once I am out of contract for my phones, I will definitely call Michael for help.

We were contacted by a HiiCom who promised they could reduce our £150/month cost for our telephones and broadband. I was reluctant at first because we'd had no problems with our then provider but I agreed to meet with them anyway. I was told they could reduce our monthly cost to £130 while improving our service, in particular the speed of our broadband connection via 5G. Our broadband speed wasn't really an issue but nonetheless I agreed to switch and boy do I now wish I hadn't.

The problems began almost immediately when we discovered by chance that there was a monthly data cap on our broadband of which HiiCom had never informed us. The cap was insufficient for our needs as our company transfers very large quantities of data as part of a secure off-site backup of files. When I informed them of this I was told there was nothing they could do about it and told me it was my fault for not asking about a data cap. Yes, that's right, they blamed me! I told them in that case that we'd like to cancel the order only to be told that if we did that they would take us to court for breach of contract. Not wanting to take the time, risk and expense of going to court, we reluctantly agreed to a solution that involved an additional fixed line over which we would carry out our backup although this took our monthly cost up to £150 - back to square 1.

In addition to this, like others we were told they would pay off our existing contract but I'm still waiting for this over 9 months later and whenever I try to contact them about it I receive no reply.

On top of this we have had numerous performance issues where again we were made to feel like it was our fault.

Please do not use this company.

We recently switched to Hiicom for our new business phone line and handset setup, and I am absolutely blown away by the exceptional service we’ve received. Hiicom sales representatives have been mis-selling for years. We fell for the scam like many others – see BBC article on HiiCom - 'I feel sick about signing that phone contract'

We are a small business with 4 phones and 2 hand held devices. We met with a Hiicom sales representative that made changes to the contract to fit with our requirements
o We wanted to reduce our bill to no more than £150 per month
o We didn’t want to enter an agreement of more than 24 months
o We wanted a basic phone system with 4 desktop handsets and 2 mobile handsets

We then agreed to sign the agreement capping costs at £150 per month on a 24 month deal – there were no other costs in the contract at this point
They never sent us a copy of the contract though, which was alarming
10 months down the line we then heard from 4Com, who acquired our contract from Hii Com. I requested a copy of the agreement and we were sent something that we have never seen before and certainly would not ever sign up to, including
o 84 month (7 year term)
o Additional maintenance charges (circa £900 per annum)
o Hidden broadband fees after year 1

The other side to this is the agreement with Propel Finance. This was never discussed or mentioned at any stage. We didn’t see this contract, nor did we agree to outsource any of the agreement to a third part leasing/finance company.
The agreement with Propel Finance that we knew nothing about was for effectively leasing the equipment over an 84 month period. The total value of the agreement is £10,920. This is for leasing the equipment below, which has an estimated value of around £450, proving to be the biggest part of this scam. We also never received a “rack mount” and a “POE switch”
o 4 x LG 1030i - Estimated value £30 each
o 2 x LG 110dh - Estimated value £100 each
o 1 x 130db – Estimated value - £125 each
o 1 x poe switch – never received
o 1 x rack mount – never received

In summary Hii Comm give what you want in terms of the contract position, but never provide a copy of this agreement.
They then sell a fabricated 7-year contract to a third party (in this case 4Com) after 10 months, before all of these secret charges kick in
They also set up a lease with a Finance company to extract an exaggerated amount for some very basic kit which costs approx. 5% of the contract value.
At this point they wipe their hands and walk away with a lot of cash in the bank. Ignore complaints and emails.

There is a growing number of people in this position, please do not be the next victim!

Not to be trusted. they promised to pay exit fees from my current contract but didn't. Also i was completely unaware that i had signed a contract for leasing the phones (4 worth around £1000 total) for 7 years at a massively inflated cost. The total is going to be £7560 plus £1500 in insurance for something i didn't know i was signing up to. The salesman said he could print out all the documents so just printed the bits to sign at no point did he mention the leasing of equipment.

Do not be fooled by their trust pilot rating. They are working with trust pilot to get the reviews removed using a loophole. I was savy enough to read the contract before signing despite the pressures from the salesman not too in the end I told him to get out of my office, this was a few months ago but having seen the recent stories I can see I had a lucky escape.

I have left a review previously and the company is using a loophole by asking me for account number and as I was fortunate not to sign the contract this is allowing trust pilot to then remove the review, even though the experience is genuine but I was lucky enough to not be a customer.

Trust pilot sort yourselves out, people are allowed to share their experience of pre becoming a customer!!! And you masking these to protect cowboy companies will ultimately damage your reputation, as your platform is supposed to reflect genuine feeling not just the positive reviews!!!

We have concerns about how the contract was sold as there was discrepancy between the length of the contract as advised by the salesperson and the length of the contract in the small print which amounted to thousands of pounds of extra costs - please be very careful and examine the small print of your contract very carefully and don't just assume the salesperson has given you the accurate and correct information.

It appears this is a wider issue with the company and I would encourage any potential customers to search for "BBC News Hii Communications" to see the type of tactics that are used.

All you have to do is watch the BBC programme showing that these people’s sales tactics, dealing with them will cost your company. We spent a lot of time with our lawyers after.

We experienced a loss of services 2 days running and our broadband speed was very slow. When I raised a support ticket with Hiicom Monty responded within 2 hours, diagnosed a line fault and arranged for a BT engineer to be onsite the following day. The BT engineer fixed the line fault and all was resolved within 24 hours of the support ticket being raised. Throughout the process Monty kept us updated. Fantastic service! Couldn't ask for more.

Michael has been really helpful when we have been getting our new phone system and broadband installed. Always at the other end of the phone/email with quick responses. Even though I cant say everything has run 100% smoothly, Michael and the team have been on hand to help and resolve issues quickly.

Michael contacted ourselves a few weeks ago with regards to reviews on account to consolidate sites and bring monthly costs down , he has been very helpful, friendly and efficient on all calls and e-mails and has left details of info required to move forwards and has explained in great detail how HIICOM can help .

Having made contact with Hii Com last week regarding our current phone system, Michael was very quick with his response and suggestions. Michael visited the site this morning and has been very helpful with the changes required.

Ethan & Kev did a great job today with our switch over. there were a few little issues but with their teamwork they solved everything with a good outcome. thanks guys

Technical support are prompt and effective at resolving all and issues we have experienced - mostly teething issues on our part.

Great service from our Account Manager - Michael. Whenever we need advise he is always available and active in sorting our issues.

New customer, transferred over from our previous provider in the last 10 days and the transition has been great. Had our first technical issue today and had Ethan on the end of the phone talking me through what I needed to do to rectify the issues. We had the issue sorted in about 5 minutes and no need to wait days for an engineer visit like in the past.
