Don’t know what they’re doing
Ordered on a Thursday. Told by Hay on Wye branch delivery would be Friday or beginning of next week. I rang the branch on Monday to ask about the delivery,
Was told the guy who had the details was out in the yard and would rind back. Waited ages. Decided to ring only to be told that they didn’t know where the delivery was and that the “ticket” had been returned. STILL AWAITING UPDATE ON THE ORDER. What a shambles.

Pricing difference.
They promised delivery the next day and the next day it arrived. Better still the drive (didn't get his name) went out of his way to drop the ton bag just where I wanted it. Five stars for him. Overall four stars because the on-line price was £8 more expensive that the over the phone price. I didn't like that.

Great product and excellent on line and branch experience.
I ordered some top soil on line. The on line process was easy and the reviews very helpful. I realised that I needed to increase my order so I spoke with the Gainsborough branch and they were very helpful. They increased my order and included it with the delivery of my first order. The delivery driver was excellent, dropping the bags exactly where I wanted. I have used some of the soil and the quality looks very good. Very pleased with Huws Gray.
