Whilst offering a 30 day money back guarantee , the small print deducts a re-stocking fee, a partial refund for opening the package, and you have to pay for return shipping.

I ordered two dash cams shipped from China to the UK, and both were completely unacceptable. One lasted around eight minutes on battery despite claims suggesting otherwise, and the VGA cable wasn’t even recognised by the device. The products are clearly not as described and appear to be very poor quality.
The real issue, however, is what happened next. I returned both items at my own expense using a tracked service, and I have proof they were delivered back to the company. Their website states refunds are processed within 10 days. It has now been over four weeks—no refund, no response, and no accountability despite repeated attempts to contact them.
This is not just bad service, it is completely unacceptable business practice. Taking payment, supplying substandard goods, and then ignoring customers when they request a refund raises serious concerns.
If you are in the UK, be aware that companies selling into this country are expected to meet basic consumer protection standards. Based on my experience, this company has failed to do so.
I would strongly urge anyone considering buying from them to think twice—you may struggle to get your money back.

I ordered this product because it records front and back whereas my old camera only records the front view.
It arrived and I placed it in the vehicle. It worked for one single day and packed up. I contacted them and after a while I had an email from them offering to replace it. It has been over a month now, and despite numerous emails, there is no replacement and I am left out of pocket with a useless product.
Extremely poor customer service. Wish I had seen these other reviews before I wasted my hard earned money on this product!

Dashcam - Would give zero stars if able!
Appalling company. Instructions may as well be in Chinese for the use they are. The menu options do not match the instructions at all. Rear camera useless. They ignored my emails, then fobbed me off before finally offering to send video instructions which they never sent. Pure delay tactics so I could not then claim via paypal as outside the time limit 😡

I ordered a car CAD cam @ £49.99 on Facebook, as the advert boasted fantastic reviews on Trustpilot, which I checked out after I had made the purchase. To my horror, I find I made a big mistake and immediately ask to cancel the order in reply to their email. Thanks for your order. That email, plus a few others, later got absolutely no replies, and I received the package 14 days later. Apart from the stress, I find this company is a complete scam type set-up, without morals, as their cancellation policy definitely is designed not to work

I purchased this Dashcam because it was supposed to be all singing and dancing...
Unfortunately that was not the case so I requested to return it for a full refund.
What a joke that is, they deduct money because you opened the box, moneys deducted for restocking the item and money deducted if its been looked at.
To top it all you have to pay for it returning and it has to be tracked.
Full refund is a load of rubbish.
Do not buy from this company as its just a big rip off.

Bought these dashcams were not as described was told I couldn't have a refund said they would give a partial refund not good customer service

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering my dash cam. I've paid somebody to fit it and although it says it comes with an SD card, it doesn't or it hasn't. As far as quality goes, I'm yet to find out how good this works on the advert. It looked quite impressive but I've yet to find out where can I get a SD card?

Do not buy from this company. Im trying to return 2 dashcans costing £80 - after 1 initial acknowledgement from them, I have emailed them a further 3 times and they have not responded.
I will be reporting them to trading standards

Dash cam arrived with no leads and no sim card. It cost over £55!
I've emailed them twice with no response, despite saying they'll reply within 2 days.

Said Dash Cam was delivered by Yodel - Yodel need their tracking number which I don’t have so can’t speak to Yodel. Absolute rubbish - £50+ down the drain. Avoid.

These guys performance on customer service is atrocious. They don't have an address, nor do they have a landline phone number to call. I bought two car dashcams which don't work and after three weeks of emailing, they have failed to respond on the technical issues. Their returns policy also costs money but I can't even discuss returns with them because of their lack of response. Dreadful customer service from a guy called Elijah. Think he may be an AI robot.

I emailed Illumas several times asking to return the product (dashcam) but received no response. I was then told via email that they had looked into my case and decided I could keep the product and would receive a full refund. I sent several further emails to chase this up but was completely ignored and have never received the promised refund. I'm left with a product I don't want and am unable to return it. They are still ignoring every attempt I have made to contact them.
