Sent the wrong lights, I was told... oh they will still work with a 12v transformer... shows the owner has no clue about the products they are selling. initially I had emails promising a swap when they had stock, but this has never happened.

i had ordered a dash cam and what i received was not as described, very poor quality looked like it had been put together in a in a shed in the dark .when contacted to return item there first response was quick and agreed to refund on return ,they then just stopped replying when i was asking for return details to send item back ,wish i had read the reviews before i would not have purchased from them PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COST,DO NOT USE.

Ordered a light switch. Lengthy delay in delivery, they do not respond to emails. Obviously fake garbage, not a chance it meets safety requirements so will be getting card company to refund and unless they state they want it back it will be going straight into the bin where it belongs.

I went to the address, well both addresses...theyre shut down. Products used to be great, they did send out 4. lights to me but thier stock seems to be diminished. Phone number isnt manned.
If you return items theyll be undeliverable, both offices are shut down on the same small indistrial estate and moved from when they were Hartington Heath who were really good
Terrible company
ORDER I-6016335 not received since beginning October. Used to have great service a couple of years ago. Failure to deliver within 30 days is a breach under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Will now have to seek how to get my money back and launch a formal complaint through citizens advice

Terrible customer service. Order nor delivered. ILumos never respond to emails They do not provide telephone contact information on their website or respond to website contact form requests. Recovery action now taken. We subsequently ordered the same products, albeit a different brand name, on Amazon which cost 40% less and were delivered next day.

Appalling Service - Took My Money, No Goods. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I am absolutely disgusted with the appalling lack of service from ILumoS. I placed an order on the 10th of October (Order Number: I-6016350) and I have still not received my items. I have chased this up multiple times and have been completely ignored or fobbed off.
What makes this even more frustrating is that I was a loyal customer when this company was trading under its previous name and management. Back then, they had a contact number, you could speak to a real person, and the service was fantastic. I was very happy with my initial purchase 4 years ago.
Since the company "closed" and "re-started," the service is an absolute shambles.
A couple of my original switches have gone bad, and I was hoping to get like-for-like replacements. I read all the recent, overwhelmingly negative reviews but foolishly hoped I might not face the same experience. I was wrong, and I completely regret placing this order.
This company is playing with customers' money. They are very quick to take your payment but have no intention of providing the goods in a timely manner, if at all. This is not how a legitimate business operates.
I am now done chasing and will be reporting ILumoS to Trading Standards for their deceptive practices.
To everyone else: DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER WITH ILUMOS. Save yourself the profound disappointment and frustration. You will lose your money and receive nothing but stress.

It's obvious; a company without a phone number, where all emails go to the same department and an address that shows up as a different company on Google maps - is NOT to be trusted.
An LED strip failed within months, no response, no refund no return - just blanked.
Avoid at all costs, the probably good prices are indicative of a company that "disappears" as soon as it has your money.

Having ordered a smart switch from them, the switch is obviously a returned item. It arrived with no paperwork/instructions, fingerprints all over the glass front - no protective plastic film, the front face has been removed - you can see the screwdriver gouges on the slot etc.
I've sent in at least 3 emails and also put in an online message all with zero response.
I have ordered from these people before - under a different parent name I think, with no problems.
I do not recommend this company at all.

I ordered a product that arrived after about 12 days fitted it and it didn’t work so I messaged several times and finally got a response after the third message to say they would send a replacement module. This has not turned up yet after two weeks so again I have sent another two messages finally got a reply to say that they are not in and are awaiting an arrival. I dealt with someone or something called mick who’s messages are very short and with no apologies so PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I have ordered bunch of light switches and 3 of them was missing on arrival. I have emailed them and they responded that those are out of stock and didn't offer refund. I made another order with thos 3 missing switches ,arived ok. Then i release i need one more specific switch so i made one more order and of course they send me wrong switch. Now i got 3 wrong switches and 3 switches are missing and i still don't have right switch..Also no one replying to my emails!

I placed an order with this company on 1st September (Order I-6016238) and as of 22nd September, I have still not received the item. I’ve sent numerous emails—not one has been acknowledged. No updates, no apology, no resolution. Just complete silence.
This is not just poor customer service—it borders on fraudulent behaviour. I am now escalating this to National Trading Standards.
If you're considering buying from this company, DON’T. Save yourself the headache. They’ve taken my money and vanished. Avoid at all costs.

Purchased light switches from this firm. The switches can’t be used with ‘other’ switches, so I’d bought into a system.
Once we realised that, we ordered the additional switches we needed. They were shown as IN STOCK.
Turns out they were in China and it took 4-5 months for them to reach iLumos in London and be despatched.
No phone number, even on their email signature to contact them.
‘Mick’ repeatedly promised ‘they’ll be here next week’ and weeks passed again. They have no idea when their next stock will arrive and no control.
I’d emailed a couple of times initially and had no response. When I told them I’d inform the bank this was a failed transaction, I got a reply the next day.

So gutted I didn’t see these reviews before ordering. Ordered a light 3 days ago and paid for next day delivery. It never turned up so I tried to contact them but there is only an email address. No phone number. I emailed asking them where my item was but no reply. I have emailed everyday since and still no replay and the light is no where to be seen. Must be a fraudulent company. Be warned and don’t make the same mistake I did
