I wouldn't touch this company. Complete lack of cIf I could give **zero stars, I would**.

I paid a **£2,000 deposit** on a Porsche 911 with Imperial Carriages. After the car was independently inspected, a number of issues came to light which materially changed my view of the vehicle and whether I was prepared to proceed with the purchase.

I informed Mason Wright in writing, by both email and WhatsApp, that I was cancelling and requested the return of my deposit. Despite repeated attempts to resolve the matter directly, I have received **no substantive response** and my £2,000 has still not been returned.

I have now had to send a **formal Letter Before Action** giving the company 14 days to either refund the money or explain the contractual and legal basis on which they believe they are entitled to retain it.

What disappoints me most is not simply the dispute over the deposit, but the complete lack of communication once there was a problem. When you are considering spending this level of money on a car, you expect a professional dealer to communicate properly and deal with disputes promptly and transparently.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend Imperial Carriages. I will update this review if the company resolves the matter appropriately.

Unfortunately there was not a lower rating than the one I have given. No communication at all especially after I’ve sent all the requested information to be completely blanked. Trade at a place where you are treated like a person not disrespectful.

Well, where do we start ! Really really poor communications from Daniel as he didn’t return calls, got the wrong price, didn’t create confidence, didn’t get us a Px price.. I had the chase everything for come back. I also ended up getting nearly 20 emails for recommendations, feedback etc etc.. even though I hadn’t got anything I wanted .. pretty rubbish really

I was told van was perfect. Delivered it few issues but nearly all sorted.

Flew down from Scotland to buy a car from Imperials. Jake and his colleague James, who handled the sale, were great. The car was exactly as described online and matched the photos I'd seen too, no suprises. The car drives beautifully, it didn't miss a beat on the 550 mile drive home. Very happy with the car and the team at Imperials.

It’s a breath of fresh air to walk in a show room with such a genuine nice group of people. I visited imperials on a pure passing by situation and was instantly impressed with everything. After being introduced to Jake his professionalism in knowing everything I asked about the car and a genuine care for the customer , I was so confident in the car and the company I instantly decided to purchase .

Great people at imperials

Found a BMW X5 M50i on autotrader at Imperials and sent them an email to enquire about the car and if they were interested in my part-ex. Daniel called me within about half hour and answered all my questions and said he would come back to me with a price on mine. Within an hour or so I had all the figures I needed and the deal was done. Daniel stayed in contact by WhatsApp and email with the docs I needed to sign and to update with progress. Fast forward 3 days and I have just collected my new car. Service was excellent and probably the easiest car purchase I've experienced.

Jim was very helpful and answered all my queries on the car. He kept me well informed throughout the whole buying process. I would have no hesitation in recommending him and would definitely buy from them again in the future.

Daniel was straightforward and we agreed a fair deal and completed a fast transaction. Thank you.
