Much like the others here, I was looking to get an EIN, I filled out the questions including my SSN and email. Then went to the next page and found out they where looking for my CC information. Googled them and found out just how bad they where. Now I have to freeze everything in preparation for fraud.

This is a scam, EINs are free, state license fees vary by state. For an EINs go directly to IRS.gov For state LLC, go directly to .gov sites.

SCAM. SCAM. IT USES IRS-TAX-ID IN THE NAME AND MAKES YOU THINK IT IS THE IRS.GOV SITE. IT IS NOT!!! IT IS A SCAM. THE REAL GOVERNMENT IRS SITE IS .GOV AND THE EIN APPLICATION COSTS NOTHING.

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM...DO NOT PAY!!!! ONE CAN OBTAIN THIS FOR FREE, I THOUGHT THIS WAS AN IRS SITE.

Complete SCAM! I would like to know if anyone got their money back from these people!?!?! I am out $249, waiting to dispute it with my bank. Hoping I get my money back

Without realizing this was a fraudulent site, I filled out an online application for an EIN. It was when I reached the billing page that I realized it was fraudulent and by then I had already given them my social security number, name, and address. I pray for God's protection from any misuse of my information by this company. I'm usually more mindful of checking to be sure sites are legitimate, but I slipped up on this one.

This is a scam website. Paid $249 thinking this was the IRS. An EIN number is free through the IRS website.

I’d give zero stars if possible. Complete scam. I called to cancel the same day and now they are saying they have no record of it and can’t do anything about it.

dang they got me, I thought they were the IRS until I received the email. Thank goodness my bank caught it. Too many scammers out there...

Entered my information and then they asked for MONEY. This is when I realized it was a fraud because the EIN is FREE from the IRS. Google has this at the top of the search engine, and should held accountable also for any fraud that takes place.

Scam company. Imitates real IRS site. Tries to charge you for a free Tax ID number.

TOTAL SCAM. It is a shame that Google promotes this type of websites. They make you think you're on the IRS website and steal your information and your money.

Scam site set up to appear as if it is an official IRS website to apply for an EIN number. I was almost caught. I didn't pay, but I did submit my information. However, after submitting, I was asked to pay $249 and that was a red flay as I knew the IRS probably didn't charge to get an EIN

THey took my money and my SS# and never sent what I needed. Thought this was the gov site.

Please help. I applied for an ein and I paid money for it. I recently found that it’s a scam. They did provide me with an ein number though. Surprisingly the ein number went through on the Amazon seller central app. I don’t know what to do now. Can some one help please.

SCAM. I made a mistake and thought it was the IRS I was registering for a new business, but it wasn't the IRS, and didn't find out until my paperwork came in the mail a few days later. When I opened the paperwork the Entity name (company name) was missing, and my name was in its place. The company was registered as a Sole Proprietorship, not the LLC I applied for. Sent a form online and about a week later they responded and said the company structure was applied from the information they received. They had some basic personal info, and answers to questions that are not even in the questionnaire I completed online. Disputed the $249 charge with CC company as fraud.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. THEY ARE ANN SCAM. I AM VERY AFFRAID OF THEM TAKING MY INFORMATION, BUT I DID NOT PAY.

SCAM - do not trust them, if you are looking to start a business, that is done at the state level. Go to your own state's Secretary of State webpage, make sure it uses ".gov", and do your application there. This company is overcharging and scamming you
