Clapham office: Offer ended up falling through. Property described as share of freehold, but it was never explained that this means there is actually a lease on the property (which was only 54 years). Advertised as having planning permission for a loft extension, but the agent would not provide information about when the permission expired, even when asked (we found out from our solicitor that it was only 6 months away which was not sufficient). The manager of the agent phoned to convince us to buy anyway, which we said we would not do without extensions of the lease and the planning permission. The manager hung up mid conversation which we felt was extremely rude.

We had a few viewings with Kieran McClean in Streatham and Clapham and have been really impressed by the properties he showed us. He understands our priorities and showed us properties in areas we has not initially in mind. Look forward to continuing our search with Kieran!

They were always on hand to chat to us when inevitable hiccups occurred during the course of our property purchase and provided valuable advice and insights all the way through – highly recommended!

Sophie at Jacksons Balham was so amazing. We had a very long drawn out, painful sale and the only thing that made it bearable was Sophie. She made us feel like there was at least some control in the selling process and walked us through each part of the process as they continued to come up. We didn't feel supported by our solicitors at all and relied on Sophie to help us understand what was required from each party involved. She was always easy to get in touch with and was always able to help keep us calm when the stress levels were going through the roof.

I have been a tenant with Jason's Wandsworth branch for 3 years. I always paid my rent in time and have been responsible and calm tenant troughout. I have decided to move away due to personal circumstances early April this year. I made sure property has been professionally cleaned prior departure for quick release of deposit. I have handed the keys over 3 weeks ago now. I have 0 emails from them since regarding release of my deposit even though I requested an updated on several occasions. I also chased with their office on numerous times and most staff are not able to assist or promise return calls that never happen. I had 1 call from them last week after persistent chasing attempt stating they are waiting for landlords response and several other measly excuses. I chased this week again and they once more feeding me with same information. I am considering of taking legal actions at this point...
This is not the service you should expect from major agency such as Jacksons. It seems they are very quick to demand their payment but completely opposite when they need to return it.
Very disappointing!
