Having had no formal coaching, did a 3 day Intermediate course with Joe in July 2021. It was exactly what I wanted; clear instruction in the fundamentals of golf, then tailored to the specific 'quirks' of my game.

The structure of coaching in the morning and playing in the afternoon was also great. Meant you were not overloaded and had the opportunity to put what had been taught into practice immediately.

Would highly recommend for anyone looking to improve their golf.

I have played golf for over 30 years or at least I thought I had until I went to this golf school. I went on the two day beginners course and had a great time re-learning everything I thought I knew. Simon was our professional and ran it perfectly, pitching it at just the right level for the group. James runs an excellent school and I highly recommend it for beginners or anyone new to golf and needs encouragement to take it up.

I have been having lessons with James for the past 18 months, and in this time my understanding of my golf swing, my actual swing, and consequently my handicap have each improved considerably.

I have received lessons from other professionals in the past, and often found that they would just simply apply the same routine PGA textbook swing thoughts that are popular for the time, without actually nailing down the core fundamental foundations of the golf swing, that are required in order to make large noticeable genuine improvements, not just simple ‘bolt-on’ swing fixes that eventually will be found out once another problem arises.

Having lessons with James however is the polar opposite to this approach. He assessed my previous swing, and explained clearly and concisely the fundamentals that were required in order to move forward. He very thoroughly explained the mechanics of the proposed swing changes verbally, as well as introducing his own ‘feel’ practice routines that in turn cemented these movements. Furthermore, whenever I was struggling with a movement that felt difficult given my already engrained incorrect swing, James would explore every potential avenue available in regards to making sure that I felt and understood the correct movement that we were trying to achieve.

James has always maintained an interest in my improvement, and is always willing to help and assist should I ever have any questions in between lessons. His positivity and welcoming people skills has led to me recommending him to several of my friends, who have been interested to learn more about how I managed to improve my own golf.

I would have no hesitation in recommending James to anyone who wants to make large strides in their golf improvement, providing that they are willing to put in the effort.

Thoroughly enjoyed 2 day intermediate course - exceeded my expectations - would definitely recommend to anyone interested in improving their game and wanting more than 1 hour lessons with their pro - will be going back in 6 months for a recap

Last week's three day beginner course with Joe at James Andrews Golf School was excellent all round: only two in the group, good company; pitched to our level, taking nothing for granted, using clear explanations in everyday language, keeping it friendly and informal but also highly informative; using a very well-structured approach, so we built up skills element by element and also built up confidence from day to day, circling back as needed; covering both the what to do and the why to do it, with many demonstrations and wider helpful aids and analogies to speed understanding; spending most of the time with a club in hand and using the Trackman and video replays intensively to provide a lot of immediate feedback and guidance; range and chipping and putting green and bunker practice right there as well. No homework, but notes and videos and Trackman report supplied straight afterwards. I made massive progress and recommend it to anyone wanting to make a good start.

Best lessons ever had and we loved the lessons because our tutor was excellent, patient and so knowledgeable obviously

Will go again and constable golf course demanding but after lessons easier

I booked a 3 day course, what a great experience. James is passionate about getting it right for you. He can see the faults instantly and starts to put things right with clear instructions and good humour. His process involves giving you the tools to “self mend” when you are back home.
I was lucky to be placed in a group of nice guys with similar handicaps and faults. It was really helpful to share comments, success and failures
It is intense with constant critical help and assistance. You need to be willing to listen and take on board his comments.
The facilities are great and the use of Trackman is really helpful tool to see your swing change.
I wish I had done this years ago.

Together with a friend I undertook a two day course with James and I cannot speak too highly of the quality of tuition. James is adept at speedily finding out his pupil"s shortcomings and setting about a bespoke process to put them right. The whole of the approximately 10 hours was structured, lively and so encouraging. James is a thorough professional. He is also patient, personable and a very decent guy. I only wish I attended such a course 20 years ago and my standard of golf over those years would have been so much better and enjoyable! And finally, do not be deterred by the weather. We went in November and he weather was mixed. But the facilities are very good and it is possible to undertake all aspects of the tuition without being too exposed to the elements.

What a wonderful experience. I have struggled with golf for a few years but after an excellent 3 days I now know what I am doing wrong and what I need to do to improve!
I have had lots of lessons with a variety of different pros but the 1 hour fix does not work for me, the structured 3 days learning and the ability to ask a question however silly it is, answered professionally and in a way I understood it made the whole learning experience a 10/10.

I spent 3 days with James at the school and having tried to play the game over the last 5 years i learnt more in 3 days with him than the previous 5 years. If your thinking about having tuition to help you become a better player Look no further the guys here are simply Brilliant. I aim to return next year so that they can rectify the bad habits that I've returned to!!!!.

Last week (17 july 2018) i booked the 3 day advanced golf school together with my golf mate in combination with a stay in the SbN Hotel. The golf lessons are outstanding, it will be very hard to find a better Pro than James. His passion for golf and contagious enthusiasm is unbelievable. After the lessons we received the Trackman data and video’s in the mail to see the improvement from the day before, and could play the 18 hole golf courses from Stoke by Nayland. Is 4 hours tuitition per day to much? Not if you want to improve your game. I highly recommend James Andrews Golf School and hope to come back. Best wishes from the Netherlands.

Really excellent. Learnt loads and had fun. Very relaxed. Mark’s tuition stuck to some very clear and simple things to make my game better very quickly. Would definitely do again.

James Andrews Golf School brings a style of coaching that is great for any level of golfer... anyone who requires anything from a few hints and tips through to a ground-up swing re-build will be pleased with the learning experience and the outcome. The coaching is engaging and sustainable in the longer term - all delivered at fantastic facilities. Highly, highly recommended.
