I was sent 50 euros short and John Lewis are refusing to help or give me it back as they say they have CCTV of it being packed but I am still short 50 euros! Thieves. Do not do the at home delivery service as they will steal your money!

I went to buy money, but was told the staff had gone on a break and I should return in 30mins. Not great when your lifts have long ques and I had a pram and your on very top floor.
Couldn't return that day, so had to wait a wk.
Staff didn't know the rate and I asked if I got a better rate as a member. Was told she couldn't see if I was getting a better deal till she had processed it, so I couldn't decide if I wanted to shop else where(m&s had a better members deal unfortunately for me)! Luckily I had id on me, but think this needs asking for before she had already processed it all and counting out money. I got it out and held it up, she said oh yeah thanks.
Plus my Name is spelt wrong on this email and the order.

Staff friendly and helpful. Explaining everything along the way.

I found that ordering from John Lewis was straightforward and offered the most competitive rates. The beauty is being able to collect from my local Waitrose store at Towcester. My euros were available within 24 hours . The Australian lady on reception was very and personable and I was able access my currency with a minimum of fuss.

Terrible experience—don't bother
Inconsistent information and awful accessibility. The order page tells you a "valid photo ID" or "UK photocard driving license" is fine, but when you show up, they deny you if it's a provisional. Why can't you just state "FULL license only" clearly on the checkout page instead of burying it in the T&Cs? I had to go home to fetch my passport.
The Leeds branch is on the 4th floor and the elevator was broken during both of my trips, forcing me to climb the stairs twice for the privilege of getting a mediocre exchange rate. Unfortunately i will not be ordering from here again. I can easily get same rate elsewhere.
