Breathtakingly expensive. Took curtains from house we're moving into for dry cleaning. Cost nearly £300. By the time I was told the price the curtains had been taken away so I could hardly say no. I complained to their head office, just to make sure a mistake hadn't been made, and was told they'd look into it. Nobody bothered to phone me back. Few things in life are certain but here's one: I will not be going to a Jonsons again.

We use Johnsons in Truro, Cornwall. Have used them for years and would recommend them highly. The store is clean, bright and orderly and the staff without exception friendly and helpful. Prices very reasonable and service completely reliable. By now we know them well and when we go to collect our things around Christmas, it wouldn’t be Christmas if we didn’t leave a card expressing our appreciation of all their hard work that helps us so much—- and a box of something sweet to share during the long working hours.

generally good dry-cleaning, just need to watch their shirt laundry, esp. golf shirts, to stains. However, no issue about crediting me when they have mucked up, no pun intended. Local staff very good by the way....

General very efficient and friendly staff bar one notable exception who doesn't get customer service.

This is my go to dry cleaners despite the last point as get a quality drycleaning service and is so convenient.
Love the 4 items for £20 promo and would welcome a 6 or 7 items for £something.

After realising that the jacket I was planning to wear at an event the very next day was stained, I popped to my local Johnson's on the off chance it could be cleaned in less than 24 hours, but I expected bad news.

I was met by Jo who assured me she would make sure it was ready for 9am the next morning for me, much quicker than the usual turnaround. She then changed this to 5.30 the very same day so that I didn't have to mess around and worry about collecting it on the morning of the event.

Absolute superstar, and the quality of the clean was worthy of 5*'s too.

I took an evening outfit in to be cleaned which for various reasons was more than usually messy, including with grass stains. Johnson's at Bar Hill Cambridge did a great job to get it as clean as possible. I know they went over and above the call of duty to make this outfit wearable again and I am really grateful as it is a favourite of mine.
The two lady staff members I spoke to were both very pleasant and helpful and I will be taking other items in soon.

Hi I visited the store on Clough Road,Hull on Saturday. I was greeted by a lovely lady called Jo. She could not do enough for me. It is so sad, but there isn't enough good customer service around these days, but Jo demonstrated excellent customer service skills, and i will certainly be visiting again. Thanks so much Jo!

Your Sidmouth Branch provide an efficient and excellent service. I had a red wine stain on a favourite white dress of mine removed so pleased. Sheena is in particular has a fun and friendly approach.

Took a velvet dinner jacket in at 9.30 am asking if they could clean the jacket as soon as possible. They promised to get it ready for Saturday morning but they called to to let me know they had got it ready for 2.30pm. There was a button kissing from the jacket and they have replaced the button too.
Can’t recommmend this dry cleaners and the lovely girls who work there enough.

Fantastic and very friendly service in Hull yesterday at Johnsons Cleaners. Jo (the voice!) and Millie really went the extra mile to ensure that my dress, (which is completely covered in sequins!) was ready for a very special event. Jo has been taking care of me at Hull Johnson’s since first dry cleaning my wedding dress for my special day 11 years ago. Jo is always professional, welcoming and really helpful. Would highly recommend for her advice and experience.
