I trusted your company when on your website - it was claimed to be natural. Now I understand WHY I HAD MORE ITCHINESS when I stopped using it.

Such dishonesty and bad business practices of NON DISCLOSURE is also called lying, cheating and misleading the public to buy your products, pay an exorbitant amount with the assumption it is natural.

I have now used this cream nearly every day for two damn years. I wished I read this sooner.

I wish I could get my money back.

But more than that -- I wish EVERYONE can see this.

How can your company market your cream as safe for babies to use and have steroids in them but then are dishonest about having these ingredients in your cream? If i wanted a steroid based cream i would have used it from the start and that was what i was angry about. If your company was not exposed by the news you will continue to sell and market it as steroid free to cheat more people. This is very unethical and no matter how you try to explain that you didn’t know, it doesn’t make sense that you as a business owner don’t know what is in your cream. So i think if you’re going to launch a new cream, better to market it as a different name lah cause customers won’t trust you anymore.

The marketing and advertising is deceiving claiming is 100% Natural Herbal Formulation. They are selling without the approval of National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) while containing steroids. I am so sad to realised it after 2 weeks of application on my 2 year old girl. Irresponsible merchant!

False advertising. Product is not steroid free. They will beat around the bush with 1001 excuses. Best to settle via legal terms.

I was shocked when I saw the news article on the statement issued by the Health Sciences Authority (HSA), which I've extracted here.

"Creams aimed at babies and pregnant women are among a list of products placed on an alert list for containing potent ingredients including steroids, the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) said on Monday (Nov 14).

Members of the public have been advised not to purchase or use the following products:

-Jolicare Baby Cream
-Jolicare Collagen Cream
-Jolicare Original Cream

The Jolicare products were sold on local e-commerce platforms (company website, Carousell, Lazada and Shopee) and on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok).

The authority said it was alerted to the online sale of the creams based on multiple pieces of feedback.

A pharmacist was reportedly suspicious of the baby cream when a three-year-old child’s chronic eczema unexpectedly improved after using it for only three days. A doctor had also come across the product on social media chatgroups among mothers.

The products were falsely promoted as “natural, herbal” and “proven effective” for a variety of skin conditions, such as eczema, fungal infection and psoriasis, said HSA.

They were also marketed online with a disclaimer that they contained "a minimal amount of dexamethasone and clobetasol" and that the dose was approved by skin specialists and safe for all, including babies and pregnant mothers.

"Creams containing such potent steroids for (the) treatment of skin conditions should be evaluated and approved by HSA, and they should only be prescribed by doctors for use under medical supervision," said the authority.

It added that these products were not approved by HSA.

Apart from potent ingredients such as clobetasol propionate and dexamethasone, the authority also detected chloramphenicol and ketoconazole, an antifungal, in all three creams.

HSA said these ingredients "can pose serious health risks, especially in infants, children and pregnant women if used without medical supervision".

The authority added that it has worked with the platform administrators to remove the affected listings and investigations are ongoing."

In summary, Jolicare is a company that cheats people with false marketing of its products. It claims that its products don't have any steroids and are using all-natural ingredients when in fact they do contain steroid and a potent one at that! I had been using it on my 4 years' old child everyday since I bought it. No wonder it has such a "miraculous" effect on him. I shudder at the effect of the daily use of a potent steroid on my boy. So disappointed!

A company that cheated their customers. From the start they have claimed that their products are free of steroids, even showing off their lab reports (not everyone will understand that not all steroids are listed on the lab reports). No wonder everytime I contacted the Company to ask for the full ingredients list, Joliecare fails to respond but when I want to purchase or ask anything else, they will reply. Their product contains dexamethasone steroid which is 30x more potent than HC. Also contains clobetasol. After all issues became known, they deleted their Instagram account instead of coming forward to truly help their customers (like how they claim they only want to help in their newsletters). I have screenshots of everything from the start and it is so disappointing coming from a person who claims the family member is a sufferer and only wants to help. Imagine how many thousands of babies have used them. Dont talk to me about low exposure to it!! I've done my research on what affects steroid has. Even pharmaceutical companies would only recommend max 2 weeks of steroid usage. I am very disappointed and feel cheated by Joliecare.

When u sell this product to me, u claimed 100% natural. No steroid. But now u claimed it contains dexamethasone and clobetasol. I learnt pharmacology also. Dexamethosone is far more potent than hydrocortisone. Hydrocortisone is just a peanut in steroid group if compared to dexamethasone. Thats why it effect was so fast and miracle. Your company did not declare it when selling and promoting. Such an dishonest. Dexamethasone is definitely a high potent steroid and may cause severe withdrawal effect. And we are applying such drug on babies!!

The best so far for my eczema. Only used it for 4 days, and my flare is gone! Normally it's a repetitive process, skin drying and peeling and drying again. So far it's not repeating and I'm very happy with it!

I've come across of joli care cream through my insta and decide to give a shot since i've been using steroids cream for my boy when ever his rashes flare up due to sweat and material of cloth he put on. My husband suffers from eczema outbreak very frequently for many years. Over the years, we incurred substantial medical cost in search of an effective solution for his rashes and itchiness. I suffered from skin problem (extreme itchiness and dry skin) on my underarms for months. Those area looked reddish and later became dark. I cannot share the pictures because it's my aurat. I bought a set, consist of the soap and the original cream. With Allah's will, the itchiness subsided within 3 days and later gone. After almost a month of using the set (applied the cream thinly twice a day), the big oval black spot on my underarms also gone. Saya pengguna jolicare.memang bagus sgt. 3 hari guna sahaja boleh hilangkan kegatalan dimuka saya. Saya memang alergic dgn debu. Jenis muka yg sensitif. Kering. Sekarang kulit saya dh licin balik lepas menggunakan sabun dan krim jolicare ni.. Tq so much Jolicare.

Please do not buy until you read this. They say it's HC-steroid free only, but it doesn't mean it's all steroid free. I recently found out from their customer service there is content of dexamethasone. If you read the instructions, they tell you to slowly wean off the cream, exactly like how you use steroid creams. Sucks to know that babies are using too! Beware.
