I purchased a Jo Loves perfume…
I purchased a Jo Loves perfume paintbrush from a department store. Beautiful fragrance. My problem started when I tried to remove the empty cartridge and replace with the 2nd cartridge. The original cartridge was stuck in the paintbrush. I reached out to Jo Loves as the department store I purchased from had ceased trading. Jo Loves refused to help me and naively suggested that this experience wouldn’t prevent me from purchasing from Jo Loves again. Well it will I won’t be purchasing your products again. Not impressed with this lack of understanding.

I won a competition back in May and gave them my details and told me that it would be sent straight away. Back and forth and getting nowhere.
They haven’t responded to me in the last month, so disappointing as I was so looking forward to Receiving this.
As someone who works in customer service, I would never not respond to someone.

Excellent perfumes and brilliant customer care. Free postage and I forgot to put PROMO code in when I ordered and they send me the free gift following a very quick response to my e mail from Elaine. Cannot be faulted and the products are amazing get so many people asking what perfume do you wear! Thank you

Response to reply from seller - I don't have an issue with the price of the perfume, it's your ridiculously high unjustified postal/packing charge. And no I won't ever be buying anything in future.
I wanted to purchase a 2ml tester for £10 but on getting to checkout/payment the least expensive postage cost was £5.95! Needless to say I won't be purchasing.

It seems from other reviews and discussions with friends that my problems with the website and blinkered customer service advisers are not a one off. I tried to order items to take advantage of a FREE shower gel offer but found so many items to be out of stock (this doesn’t show at the product display stage, it only shows when checking out) that I was going backwards and forwards to the check-out page until finally, I had items totalling £100+ in my basket and the FREE shower gel was automatically added. However, due to a further item not being in stock and me not realising, the order checked out below £100 and I was charged £37 for the FREE shower gel I hadn’t even added. I emailed and asked that a further item be added to the order to take it over the threshold or that I wanted the order cancelling as I wasn’t going to pay £37 for a FREE item. Instead of doing the customer friendly thing and sending the additional item with a £37 price adjustment, they said they couldn’t change the order so cancelled it. The computer is running the show and it’s not very friendly. This is not what I expect from a premium brand. Two stars rather than one as the refund arrived promptly.
Update: This review was picked up by Jo Loves. Georgia in customer services dealt with my issue quickly, professionally and to my complete satisfaction.

I had a mixed experience with Jo Loves. Their products are classy and well-packaged, and customer service, particularly Elaine, was helpful and polite. However, the website is hard to navigate, and some functionality issues caused frustration. While shipping was smooth, improvements to the shopping experience would make me a more loyal customer.

Following my review, i received a response from Jo Loves Customer Service Team the following day.
However, I was advised that I could purchase fragrance from Cult Beauty and they were delivering to Northern Ireland - jumped straight onto the website only to find that as well as Space NK, Cult Beauty do not have the fragrance I am looking for! Yet further disappointment!
Great service to match a great brand
I absolutely love this brand so my opinion was very high anyway but after contacting the customer advice email about an unusual problem I experienced with one of the bottles of cologne that I had purchased, Elaine in the customer care team resolved my query within minutes to my complete satisfaction by confirming that the item would be replaced and I am delighted! You don't get great service in very many places nowadays so (to be honest) I didn't know what resolution to expect, but I'm really pleased I took the time to enquire. Thanks Jo Loves team, oh and your products smell absolutely incredible 😊

Jo Loves used to be amazing and my go to for gifts and treats for my home. Sadly the customer service has really declined. I’ve been purchasing JL for years either direct from JL or more recently via SpaceNK too. I recently placed an order for my sister in law’s 30th birthday. I struggled to log into my account and in the end had to set up a new one. Online it says that their customer services live chat and emails are available Monday - Saturday 9.30-5.30 but could I get a response on Saturday? I was trying to double check that the gift would arrive in time if I placed my order and also query my birthday gift from being part of the JL scent artist club - I sadly didn’t receive an email this year. So I placed the order and paid £7.95 for next day delivery so that it would be dispatched on Monday and arrive in time for her birthday on Tuesday. Nothing arrived! So upsetting and embarrassing!! I contacted customer services and they just said that it would arrive on the Wednesday. They eventually kindly refunded my next day delivery charge “as a gesture of goodwill”. I never received the service I paid for!! They also said that I could have the birthday gift next time I placed an order - sadly I won’t be placing another order - why would I after such a dreadful experience? Also, £5 for a box? When you’re paying a premium for a luxury product surely this should be included - it certainly used to be. Such a shame JL has gone so downhill!!

Just disappointed but rectified after this review
Utterly disappointed with the online service/after service. Tried placing an order. There was an offer where when spending over £120 two free gifts were given. This wasn’t showing when on ‘check out’. I emailed and this was sorted for me - no problem. An invoice was raised which I then paid. I realised shortly after that they hadn’t asked me about gift wrap. The products are a Christmas gift for my father to gift my mother. Within a few hours I emailed back to ask that the gift packaging be used (which I had originally added online) along with a written gift card. The response has been utterly unsatisfactory. The package had already been dispatched and they will not send me out any sort of gift packaging. I have emailed again asking if they could please just send me a bag to make the gift look special for my mum - their response - no! Surely they can post me a bag. So disappointed.
** Since writing this review, Elaine from the customer experience team has been in touch again and has sent out two gift boxes for the items I purchased. Thank you Elaine!

Outstanding service
Outstanding service. There was a issue with my product and I emailed Jo Love. Elaine from customer service emailed me back and within about 3 hours she had an update and refunded me for the item. I was amazed and delighted with this service as it is hard to get good customer service these days. Jo Love you should be so proud, the training you give your staff and also to Elaine who was in my words only brilliant 👏. Thank you 😊

NO premium brand does this, i have not processed the order and won’t use them again.

I have ordered from Jo Loves before and the products without fail have been of a very high quality and just lovely. I had a hiccup with my new Christmas Tree diffuser set, unfortunately it probably went walkies and was never delivered. However the customer service from Elaine was super! My email was responded to promptly and a replacement was in the post that day. Fabulous company and customer service.
I was given a small bottle of perfume
I was given a small bottle of perfume, Mango Thai Lime, from Jo Loves and I absolutely adore the scent! But as some people said here, it doesn't last at all long...It is quite shocking..I never owned any perfume like this before.. It's a bit ridiculous that I have to spray 6-7 times a day so I can enjoy the scent.. Please please do something about it 🙏
