BIKE STOLEN

BIKE STOLEN, LOCK SUCKS! Just bought a Juiced RipCurrent S along with a recommenced lock they sold me, ABUS Key Lock 1650. BIKE STOLEN, lock sucks, so does Juiced for selling it. Buying a VOLT power bike with a much better lock. Juiced lost me, I thought I could trust their recommendations.

What’s more, the bike rattled with every peddle and the disc brakes went in weeks (not safe). Juiced is great in the sales pitch and marketing, less so in substance.

Lesson learned, onward.

Complete and utter garbage

Complete and utter garbage. I so regret not doing more research of these independent reviews. Bought a Ripcurrent S back in Jan, barely rode it before noticing how underpowered it was. They said that was ‘normal’ thermal whatever to protect the motor from overheating. Never is that mentioned in the marketing bs they put out there. Sounds like they cheaped out on the most important back of a motorized bike. Well then the motor just died on me. You have to basically troubleshoot yourself, then they agreed to fix it, but after sending it back (after a month wait) it still didn’t operate properly. I’ve riden this like 4 times. It took a week to even speak to a manager, he refused to consider any return. I’m pursuing a charge back through my credit card. Local bike shop has reviewed this piece of trash and confirmed it’s brutal quality and verified it is defective. Do not give your money to these liars. Reselling cheap Asian trash with slick marketing.

I wish I had read the Juiced Bikes reviews before purchasing one …

I wish I had read the reviews of the Juiced Bikes company and not just looked at how fun the bike looks on YouTube. I purchased a Juiced Scrambler in May of 2020 and paid $1,799. This was not a preorder but a “regular” order. The email receipt said to expect 7-10 business days processing before the bike ships. That sounded very reasonable. After 20 business days, no bike, no email telling me “your bike is on the way!” And worst of all, customer service is not answering my emails. I was planning on purchasing a second one once I got a chance to ride the first bike, but that doesn’t seem like a smart idea now.

A waste of money!!

First of all, he chain comes off the front sprocket constantly. The brakes squeal and the front brake makes a horrible sound and makes the wheel shake. Now, after only 33 miles on the bike it won't run. The battery is fully charged, the LCD monitor turns on but no juice to the wheels. Now I own an $1,800 overweight regular bike. Not at all a happy camper..and no service shop anywhere near.

Bad design + awful customer service

Bad design + awful customer service.
About one year after purchasing my Cross Current, the spokes of the rear wheel started to break consistently and prematurely. During the last 6-7 months, I started breaking a spoke every 30-40 miles. In less than two years I have replaced 12 spokes: took the bike to the shop 4 times and replaced the rest by myself. The technicians at the shop say the cause is poor design/quality because the engine is exerting too much torque for these inferior quality spokes.
Unfortunately, after several emails and calls the best solution the Juiced customer care came up with was to try to sell me 36 new spokes while asking me to go look for a capable local (LA) bike shop who can "lace a new hoop (the outer metal rim part) rebuilding the rim". All of this just so that in less then a year later I can start going through it all over again.
Simply an awful combo of bad design and terrible customer service for a $1,800-2,000 bicycle!!

Avoid this company!!

Ordered a seemingly really nice E-Scooter from this company. This situation is completely laughable. The box came, and as soon as I opened it up I realized that I'd been misled about this product. The instructions are written in poor english, and basically non existent. There's no packing list. I have multiple screws missing. The screws were just free standing in the box. It would be so easy to put everything in a baggy. Additionally, there's zero assembly information to be found on the internet and there are multiple wires to deal with that are not labeled. What it looks like to me is that this company "juiced bikes" is selling stuff from asia as their own.

The return policy is foggy, and definitely to no benefit of the consumer. I did finance through Affirm, so I will contact them next.

To juiced bikes - if you're reading this my order number is 330452 and you can contact me immediately to remedy this situation and I'll be happy to remove this review or revise it.

Be very careful with this company

Be very careful with this company. Their 5 to 7 day time to fill an order is bogus. Customer service indicated perhaps in 4 weeks time. They will charge a restock fee as well just for canceling and order which apparently will take much longer to fulfill relative to what is advertised. In short, your basically screwed once they have your payment.

Backorders not listed on website. Poor customer service.

Purchased a bike and it did not say it was out of stock when I did. I got an email saying I would receive it in 7-10 days. 3 weeks later they say I will get it sometime in May and it NOW says it is out of stock. Meanwhile, they have my $2,000. Customer support was poor. I hope their bike is worth it.
(Note added after response) How can I provide the order number? I have emailed customer support with this info including the order number.

Juiced Bike CampScrambler Best investment yet

Juiced Bike CampScrambler, got a great deal, got the off road kit climbing me to 26-33mph in R mode depending and 15-19mph on heavy 44% grade hills depending charge. For work I travel 24 miles round trip on early rusher work days to train/work/home commutes. I can stop on a dime with the abs, and off-road muddy trails on small deep streams are no match for this amazing bike. For normal days 19 miles, from 2 bars to full bars with slight pedaling on steep hills of which I hit 6 of each day always in R mode for commuting only. It accelerated faster than a 49cc motor bike which wanted to race a 1/8 mile in town. The e-bike won, I’ve tested all the ranges and at hundreds of miles I’ve saved thousands in gas and maintenance $6,500 a year. I’ve tested all the ranges and they are true. I plan to keep this bike for many, many years as battery technology advances; I’ll keep this, great investment.

Shady Financing

As of now I am very unsatisfied with Juiced Bikes financing option with affirm. 1st email enclosed confirmation and approval. Then I got an email stating that they are not accepting purchases made via affirm. Perhaps it would be a REALLY good idea to get the option to apply/pay via affirm out of the pymts option.

This is shady. Especially when affirm states that there might be a partial refund. I really wanted to like Juiced Bikes but this is a very bad first impression!

Defective product & bad customer support

Tried contacting many times over email, phone, Facebook to resolve a problem with my defective longboard I purchased from them. No help whatsoever. Very disappointed and frustrated with the poor customer support.

Don't trust this company, worst warranty practices.

Don't trust this company!
My Ocean Current had an electrical fire and I still couldn't get a replacement!
My faith in humanity has gone up in black smoke just like that first ride on a Juiced Bike.
It took half a year to get it repaired. Correspondence was like screaming into the void of space, only to receive faulty parts with damaged insulation. I'll never make large purchases upfront again in my life.

hyperfat 1100

hyperfat 1100, very reliable and fast. the only issue is that after 1 year the engine is less responsive and the top speed caps now at 30 instead of 40 for some reasons.

I love the bike

I love the bike, but had a few issues which support handled rapidly. Now I'm waiting on support to help fix a torque sensor issue which I just reported today.

Decent bike. Bad customer service

I purchased the RipCurrent S a couple of months ago and have about 1k miles on it so far. To be fair both ways, this is a price point bike so the components are not that great and, if upgraded, you end up spending more than you would spend on higher end electric bikes. As long as you go into it with your eyes open and willingly accept the trade-off, you are fine. The bike needed adjustments and it quickly became clear that paying a bit more to buy locally is more justifiable when dealing with slow responding customer service techs where you get a single instruction every other day. That is a decision you will need to make.
After several weeks of back and forth, I ended up requesting an escalation and being denied. That is bad customer service (they know that you can no longer return the bike.) To add insult to injury, I wrote an honest review on their site which was not published or was maybe taken down so I understand now how they maintain their high ratings.
I cannot recommend a company that deals unethically regardless of how good its products are so I recommend looking elsewhere.

I really like my Juiced Crosscurent X…

I really like my Juiced Crosscurent X and have 400 miles on it. I bike in one of the best bike cities in the US, Minneapolis. I have had 2 issues with the bike. The first one was it needed an $80 dollar tuneup/adjustment. It wasn't perfect from the factory. The second one in still not resolved. My battery cuts out and I don't have power. I believe because of the larger battery. A bump can affect the connection. I now use a yoga strap to wind around the battery and frame and believe that helps. I will contact the company to see if they have any suggestions

I would not recommend Juiced Bikes.

I would not recommend Juiced Bikes.
I brought a Juiced Crosscurrent S and have had nothing but problems.
The first battery failed after 150 charges, the second battery failed after 75 charges, both despite following all the rules when charging.
The control unit has failed twice and the chain falls off every time I ride it due to a poorly designed chain ring.
Juiced Bikes customer service is non existent, they just make poor excuses for what is a cheaply made bike.

We just purchased two RipCurrent S's to add to our two CrossCurrent's. These bikes have changed our lives. We are out getting exercise and loving every minute of it.
