DON'T BUY FROM THEM

They are taking advantage of a loophole created by covid to steal 10-20% of everyone's money right now. Yes, let me explain. "Are you shopping for (or returning) gifts? Don’t assume that you can return items unconditionally. Look for a return policy sign in the store! Under California law, stores are free to set their own policies, such as requiring a restocking fee or requiring that the merchandise is in its original packaging – as long as they are posted conspicuously at the store or on the order form." If you read the above you'd notice by law your sales and return policy should be on the form (it wasn't) after I made the purchase I noticed when I went to their return policy page they charge for "restocking".

Now read this.

If a store has no posted policy, California law provides that in most cases, as long as you have your receipt, you are entitled to full refund or equal exchange within 7 days of purchase. (Cal. Civil Code § 1723.) There are exceptions, such as food or other perishables, items returned without their original packaging, or underwear and bathing suits. In addition, stores can refuse refunds for items marked “as is,” “no returns,” or “all sales final,” or customized items that are received as ordered.

Well it takes them 2 days to get back to you via email due to Covid19 and they don't get back to you in two days because "omg covid and everyone wants our bikes" NO, NO they DON'T. Read the customer service reviews as of late, absolute nightmares. New bikes broken in 3 days after months of waiting?

Then due to Covid19, which is actually a convenient excuse none of these guys are elderly and or immunocompromised who's sick and how is that affecting their customer service?

It's just a way for them to ensure they keep 10-20% from the people looking to pull out because they read the reviews (like me).

I'm still getting an e-bike somewhere and so are all my friends just not from juiced, ever.

Juiced Bikes = No Customer Service

I purchased the Hyper-Scorpion model and received it on 9/9/20. It worked fine for 11 days then experienced issues. Initially I was able to make contact with their Tec Support department. Twice they supplied suggestions to fix that did not work. They then involved a supervisor whom I spoke to that promised me a replacement part, a controller would be shipped under normal circumstances the next morning. I agreed. She was to contact me the next morning with the shipping info so I could track the replacement item. That was on 9/22/20 at 9:19am and we spoke for 14 minutes. Since that last contact I have called their support number 9 times daily and sent emails nearly everyday asking for some contact and support. Finally after threatening to post a complaint on the BBB on October 1st, 10 days after my last contact with the supervisor I get an email saying to be patient and I will get a replacement part when they are available. Today is October 7th, a week later. I continue to call 9 times a day and email daily with no responses even though their message promises a contact back within 1-2 business days.. I've even offered to drive the 264 mile round trip so I could bring them the bike directly. They refused the offer. I think a company should respond to customer inquiries especially when the product is unusable after 11 days. Additionally since they promise it within their communication. My $3K new bike has less than 60 miles on it. I could not be more dissatisfied with this companies customer service. Reporting them to the BBB.

Hyper scorpion arrives unscratched perfect. er…

I ordered my brush aluminum hyper scorpion from Juiced bikes and got it within 2 weeks of my order date delivered in perfect shape not a single scratch it seems like they've taken care of the shipping issues with more padding.. watch YouTube video put the thing together in 2 hours love riding it around San Diego Bay , fast super responsive love the headlight horn and mirrors and blinkers so useful when people don't hear you, I had foot surgery and my doctor didn't want me to ride a normal bike but with this bike I can pedal lightly and go 24 miles per hour. Hydraulic brakes stop on a dime

I bought this bike for my husband

I bought this bike for my husband. Yhe customer service which is non-existent phone number why even call no one answer and when you email them they don't answer. I would not recommend anyone to buy a bike from this company . I received the bike no instruction sent email sent me to a tech person that did not help . Two weeks later screens goes out on bike . Sent another email and have not heard back . Paid $1700.00 dollars for a broken bike this company sucks . If I could I would return the bike and take my business else where but I refuse to give them any more of my hard earned money . If I could give them a negative rating I would .

This is a Terrible company !!! Purchased a Ripcurrent S
DOA on arrival !! With horrible customer service all you get is the run around , Worked with a tech support over the phone to see if there was something unplugged or
a other malfunction which problem could not be fixed by tech support this was a week of back and forth emails and 1 phone conversation and was told that a supervisor would be in contact with me to work things out now a weeks has gone by with no phone calls or response from emails. This company should not be able to operate like this. I paid with Amazon pay that they accept for payment . I will be notifying Amazon today and credit card company . BBB also will be notified. I think that it horrible to play people on there hard earned money. DON'T BUY FROM THEM !!!!!
Update as of 10/8 after having amazon contact them because they don’t return emails to me Amazon said they have 24 hrs to contact me in which they final did and said that the will be send me a new control box that that is probably the problem. So now I’m a bike mechanic
That has to work on the bike !!
The part arrived and I removed the old control box which was a 52 volt 2020 model what they sent was a 48 volt 2019 model which is not the correct control box that would come with a new bike . So I emailed them on 10/1 to first
Let them know that this is a old version and that I didn’t want to install it not know if it would be ok to install as of
10/8 again no response back !!
So called Amazon as was told that the purchase would be a A-to-z claim and
I would hear from Someone from Amazon claims department in 24 hrs
That didn’t happen either so I call Amazon again to let them know I had not heard from anyone yet .
I was then told that this wasn’t covered under A-Z guarantee . The lady at Amazon was very friendly and helpful and was going to try to find out what the issue was with the Guarantee .
In the meantime she sent a time sensitive email to juicebikes to contact
Me and resolve the issue.
So I wait again for contact from them
This has been a total nightmare !
A GOOD COMPANY WOULD HAVE MADE IT RIGHT !!
They got my hard earned $$ and that is all they care about .

Read all the negative reviews everywhere!

I wish I had read all the negative reviews posted all over the internet before I bought from this horrible company. Spent almost $2900 for a bike with no manual. Bike has numerous issues and I had a total ride time of 15 minutes. Support is almost non-existent. You cannot reach them on the phone. Just a recording that they are too busy and no option to leave a message. Online help is almost zero. They treat existing customers with contempt and completely ignore what is written. The bike is non-functional and they continue to ignore my please for help, except to occasionally link to completely irrelevant youtube videos about completely different bikes. I was scammed! $2900 down the drain and an inoperable, junk bike that local bike shops refuse to work on.

UPDATE: What a JOKE! They FINALLY responded to my complaint. SIX YEARS LATER! And the reply HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MY COMPLAINT!!!! Stay away from this company!

DO NOT BUY BIKES FROM JUICED. PERIOD.

This is the worst experience I have ever had in my life!

Bought two RIP Current S bikes, the first one (my wife's) came in on time and seemed ok.

Mine came in two weeks later for some unexplained reason and was DOA (No pedal assist, no walking assist and no throttle). I have been trying to get resolution now for three weeks and all I get is an occasional email but basically nothing ever happens.

Now today, the monitor on my wife's bike has quit working.

I have requested for a full refund and return of the bikes but they never respond to those requests.

You cannot talk to anybody on the phone and their emails usually only come every couple of days and only give you the run around, no solutions to your problems.

I have disputed the payment with my CC company and hopefully they will step in so I don't lose my money.

Bike was received in damaged condition. Have sent three sets of photos pointing out the damage. We have been asked absurd questions regarding the damaged parts. DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED TIME AND MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY. TOOK FIVE DAYS TO GET A REPLY.

I was just about to order two bikes…

I was just about to order two bikes when I read all the negative reviews. Now I understand there can be shipping issues and items get damaged in transit however there is never an excuse for bad service. Things are looking good for Juiced now but soon the environment will change and they wont be able to stay in business with this type of service

Horrible Customer Service.... BE CAREFUL

I had an extremely terrible order experience. Gear shifter was upside-down and on the wrong side of the handlebar as well as the LCD screen. They sent me a bike with the wrong wheels. I ordered the mag wheels and they sent me the off-road wheels instead. I sent in pictures and a warranty inquiry and they have not responded in a week. I am extremely disgruntled by this transaction. Do not waste your money on a company who can’t back their own damn product!!

I even requested that the juiced rep leave a note for the warehouse to confirm that my order is CORRECT before delivering because of the many videos and reviews explaining the same issue I dealt with. I was “helped” by a rep named Stephanie who did not accept my request and simply shoo’d me saying that installing a gear-shifter upside-down is impossible since it’s right handed... evidently not.

Never buy a Juiced bike! Rip Current bike

Ordered a new Juiced Rip Current bike, waited 2 months. Only to get a damaged bike, it was obvious it came from the manufacturer (China) in that condition. The damage was meticulously wrapped with padding. Waste of time and money. Buy from a reputable company.

UPDATED* Poorest Customer Service I Have Ever Experienced!

I purchased 2 HyperScorpions back on Oct.3 2019 and paid just shy of $4000. Shipment was scheduled for March, but delayed due to COVID -certainly not the fault of Juiced. Sadly when the bikes arrived 9-months later, I found the front wheel on one of the bikes was damaged in shipping. There was no external damage to the outside of the box. I immediately contacted Customer Support and provided several photo's. They responded and seemed concerned. However, they then told me that I would need to ship the damaged wheel back, and after they received it, a replacement would be shipped back to me. Since the summer is half gone, I asked if they would ship the replacement first, and I would then send the damaged one back. After all, we waited 9-months to receive them and another month without just doesn't seem fair. Juiced CS responded by saying "they didn't trust me in sending the damaged wheel back" Keep in mind, they also provide free return shipping so why wouldn't I send it? Customer Support then suggested that I could pay a $200 deposit and they would ship the replacement -then once they received the old one back I would be credited. I agreed to do this and immediately paid the $200 invoice that I was sent. So essentially -I still trusted Juiced, even though they didn't trust me. Three weeks later I still hadn't received the wheel that they had charged me for!! When I contacted them kindly asking for an ETA, they responded by saying they were refunding the $200, but would still be sending the wheel and that I could return the damaged one thereafter. Wow, finally they get it right? I received the refund the next day, but that's where it ended. Another 2-weeks passed and still no wheel. As everyone else has posted, Juiced shut down all phones and will ONLY work thru email or online form. Again, knowing they are swamped and giving them the benefit I nicely emailed the CS rep that I had been corresponding with to ask if she knew the ETA. She responded by saying that I needed to ship the old one back first... So essentially -I'm right back where I started! I have all of the emails saved, so the proof is there! I no longer trust Juiced and do not feel comfortable shipping the wheel since there is no guarantee that I will get a wheel sent back to me. So that leaves me with little options... I am contacting the Credit Card company to dispute the charges as well as submitting a BBB complaint. Why Juiced?? Why do you treat your customers this way? I even purchased the 52v Grin Charger from them ($320) during this whole fiasco -still "trying" to believe they are a upstanding company. How sad!! I'm still hanging on to hope that they will realize their shortcomings and will ship a replacement. If they do, I will gladly provide an update to this posting. Please Juiced, stop destroying your business this way!! Nothing good will come from it unless you respect your customers as they respect you!

UPDATE: 9/10/2020 - After directly emailing Rasan (Juiced CS Mgr), I received a call back and thankfully received a replacement wheel finally. Thank you Rasan! Hoping they can get on top of these issues soon so their response times improve for everyone.

Don’t let bad reviews about CS keep you from getting an RCS.

Admittedly Juiced has some customer service issues but my RCS is a machine with no equal, definitely not for the price. What other bike packs the quality and features that the RCS has? I had rented a couple of bikes in the Pedego line, and the Ridge Rider was a good bike but not as good as my RCS for roughly twice the price. I got my RCS for Christmas and have about 550 miles on it, so still new enough not to have any issues but I have confidence in this bike. I have a 42 mile Rails to Trails ride that I do. Yes I wish it were 20 pounds lighter but I ride as hard as I can and this bike rewards me with about 23 mpg average for 2 hours on #2. I get a workout, it’s comfortable, and it’s FUN. I have about 2 bars left on the battery when I finish. Would I by the same bike again, absolutely!

Got my rip current S this weekend came…

Got my rip current S this weekend came with the wrong battery and bent back rotor they sent me a 13 amp hour battery when I paid for a 19.2 amp hour they currently for the last two weeks have not been answering their phone either Not sure what’s going on with them but we’re not getting off to a very good start...
All of the forms that I have been reading customer service has been horrible way before Covid 19 so the excuse of extraordinary circumstances and extremely high volume is Absolutely not the case for juice bikes as of today I would definitely not recommend them I will be updating this post to let you know the outcome and how long it took to get fixed

Caveat Emptor!

Caveat Emptor! Very poor...poor customer service. I eagerly awaited approximately 4 months to receive the HyperScorpian ebike (one of their premium models), and upon receiving the item, there was damage to the front tire & brake disk system. That said, this is easily remedied by simply replacing the detachable front tire/rim assembly.

In addition, I am missing two other pre-ordered items and have no idea about their where-a-bouts, since the company is not responding to my inquiry.

I am have since sent the company 4 notices (two via email, and two via their customer support platform); Yet, despite receiving an automated message advising a "one to two day" business reply...it has now been an entire week going on the second week as of the end of today (Friday, August 14, 2020).

To make matters worse, the company has shut off all incoming calls and are no longer taking live phone calls. Sounds like this scenario has all the makings of a "customer nightmare" in the making.

I am hoping that if and when I do ever get through this first hurdle, I will not be equally displeased with the performance of the ebike itself or experience additional customer service issues.

I will follow-up with on-going issue and its final outcome. In the interim, for anyone considering purchasing any of their products...I would hold-off on doing so, until this company gets their act together.

Next phase of planned action: Contacting the BBB & filing a formal consumer complaint, as well as contacting the payment credit card fraud section. I advise all others experiencing similar dissatisfaction, to follow suit if this company refuses to act responsibly.

This is a very silly company

This is a very silly company it operates differently then most companies I have encountered. I ordered 2 bikes at almost $4K they charged my credit card that day. Most companies bill you once they ship the product. WE received the bikes and they both had a ton of damage on them. They asked me to upload pictures which I did around 25 of them thats how much damage there was. Then the run around to get someone to respond after many calls and emails, I dealt with Kayla. In the end and it was the worst customer service ever. She said it happened during shipping, implying that it's not their fault, I ordered and paid for new bikes. She offered me a $50. gift card some touch up paint and some parts so I could go to work fixing and painting my "New" bikes. I challenged this offer and she said she would talk to her supervisor. She raised the gift card to $100. I said no thanks. Her response was to send the gift card and maybe she has also sent the parts have not received anything yet. Had to go to my credit card company, funny the understood that the shipping damage was not my fault and that I should not pay full price for damaged goods. If this were a retail store they would be in the discount corner with a 20%-30% price reduction. When I tried to return the bikes she said I would have to pay a restocking fee, I should pay a fee for the the used bikes they shipped go figure. Buyer beware Peace

Terrible quality poor support

Terrible quality poor support. Bought Ripped Current and immediately had issues. Poor quality parts and battery connector with known defect for 2 years still being sold.

Not as Reliable as I had Hoped

I bought a Crosscurrent S2 about a year ago. My first e-bikes were RadRovers for my wife and I. They worked great and were very reliable, but we got tired of the balloon tires. So I bought my wife and my mother Blix bikes. They worked out great too. No problems. And I bought myself a Juiced Crosscurrent. Ironically, the Crosscurrent had the best specs, and it was the most expensive. But it was also the least reliable. The first charger they sent me didn't work; and my experience making a warranty claim wasn't good. I had to take a video proving the first charger didn't work, and then I waited forever for a replacement. I had that for less then a year and it started malfunctioning as well. When that happens you can't just tell them its broken and send it back. I just gave up and bought an inexpensive charger on Amazon. Surprisingly, the inexpensive charger actually has a fan inside, and seems to work better. When the Juiced bike works it is great too. But sometimes the electric assist doesn't come on for a while. I have no idea why. Anyway, I'll keep the bike for as long as it lasts. But next time I think I'll go back to Rad Power Bikes. For something like this, reliability is the most important thing. Plus the Rad Power Bikes are less expensive.
