Then a no show, and no response to any forms of contact - that was a few weeks ago - my advice, go with someone else.

Ghosted!?
All started great, they did a fantastic job for my neighbour so I asked for a quote, sent a video of my waste and got a prompt reply and a quote. Booked in for Mon 9th June 2025, but they didn't show up. I messaged and they said they had van trouble, could they do it on the 10th instead. I agreed. They again failed to turn up on the 10th and have since ghosted me. Tried messaging and calling, no reply or answer. Very strange! I've no idea why they seem to have dropped off the face of the earth! Hope all is ok with them.

Used JunkMunch to clear some old bits and pieces before our house move. Communication was via WhatsApp, and the whole booking and collection process was simple and straightforward. Arrived promptly on the day of collection, with a message beforehand to say they were 20 mins away. Brilliant value for money, clear and prompt communication, worked quickly and efficiently to load up the van. Would definitely recommend!

Nathan did an amazing job removing a lot of stuff for me in one of our apartments. He arrived early and had it all shifted within the hour, ready for my contractor to attend and fix the apartment. Thank you Nathan!

First class service
Communication was prompt as was the service. Very efficient, and left area clean and tidy. I did not even have to be home, they took pictures when job complete and I paid remotely, so convenient. Very reasonable prices too, was quoted nearly £50 more from another service. Would definitely use Junk Munch again.

No show (three times) and no deposit returned
Arranged a pick up date and time (and paid a deposit) and they didn’t arrive. Messaged me to say they would come the following day but didn’t (and didn’t let me know they weren’t coming either). Arranged a third day and again didn’t arrive and didn’t message me. They are now not replying to messages or answering my phone calls and I have yet to get my deposit back.

Not worth 1 star. Arranged mattress pick up on a Friday by Monday no show telephoned numerous times no answer, left 2 voicemails and 2 whats app message no reply. Found another company with excellent service and cheaper prices. Don't use junk munch.

We’re very sorry for the poor experience you had. As you initially called us for a same-day collection, your details weren’t recorded in our booking system. Unfortunately, we lost our work phone, so we could not retrieve your contact information or respond to your messages.
Since no payment was taken upfront, there was nothing else we could do to get in touch with you. We completely understand your frustration and regret that we couldn’t complete the collection as expected.
For reference, our mattress removal prices are the cheapest in Herts, Beds, and Bucks, starting from just £25. We strive to offer the best service at the best prices, and we are taking steps to improve our processes to avoid situations like this in the future.
