LET ME BEGIN BY STATING THAT IF IT WOULD'VE BEEN POSSIBLE TO GIVE THIS COMPANY ZERO STARS I WOULD'VE DONE SO. SINCE THAT'S NOT POSSIBLE I WILL RELATE MY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE. I TOOK A UNIT IN TO BE DIAGNOSED FOR REPAIR AND TO RECEIVE AN ESTIMATE AS TO HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST TO REPAIR THIS UNIT. THE FEE FOR THE ESTIMATE WHICH WAS PAID UPFRONT WAS $60.00. APPROXIMATELY 5 WEEKS LATER I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL LETTING ME KNOW THAT THEY HAD NO IDEA AS TO WHERE TO OBTAIN THE NECESSARY PART TO FIX THIS UNIT SO WHAT THAT MEANS IS THAT THE ESTIMATE THAT THE $60 WAS PAID FOR WAS NEVER GIVEN. IT WAS NOT MY FAULT AS THE CUSTOMER THAT THIS SO CALLED VINTAGE AUDIO REPAIR SHOP IS LACKING RESOURCES AS TO WHERE TO OBTAIN PARTS. WHEN I PICKED THE UNIT UP I ASKED FOR MY MONEY BACK SINCE SERVICES WERE NOT RENDERED THAT WERE AGREED UPON WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN THE PROMISED AND PAID FOR ESTIMATE. IT'S MY OPINION THAT THIS IS A COMPLETELY UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICE AND DOES MUCH TO RUIN THEIR REPUTATION. WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO THE DAYS WHEN IT WAS IMPORTANT FOR THE CUSTOMER TO BE TREATED FAIRLY AND BE SATISFIED??? IT'S MORE THAN OBVIOUS THAT JUST AUDIO IS MORE CONCERNED WITH $60.00 THAN TREATING ME FAIRLY AND OFFERING A RESOLUTION TO THIS ISSUE.
