This review is for the e46 sedan. When I removed my original bmw factory speakers I was surprised to find the majority of which were blown. Having said that the BAVsound speakers sound was surprisingly fabulous. What was not fabulous was the after purchase support was disastrous. I got nowhere with them. After a period of weeks of back and forth redundant questions responses seeking clarification on installation of speakers I began to wonder respectfully if English was the sellers first language…My install problem was related to the installation of the front doors midrange speaker. You are to reuse the speaker housing and apply their supplied glue then place the speaker assy back into the door and secure it with threaded ring. The threaded would not fully seat the speaker into the door and subsequently the speaker would just spin in the door. I applied super glue to try to adhere it to the door. This is not the experience of the all the install videos and their instruction sheet. I acknowledge that this may be an error on my end or a manufacturing defect. My question how can I obtain a replacement set of mid range speakers. And I got nowhere just incessant responses yes you use the glue or requesting videos of door…on and on and on…How hard is this to understand????

I ordered the under the seat ghost subwoofers from them with the $90 overnight delivery. The item didn’t show up for five days. I just recently purchased their stage one door speaker kit July 13 I’ve been going back-and-forth via email because they have no phone number talking to them trying to get an actual timeline of when I would get my item. They said I would be able to see the shipping process start the 23rd now I emailed them checking in. They say sorry we’re having some problems with restocking, but your order should starting the delivery process later this week. It’s very misleading that they have on their website where you look at the shipping options that most of them say one day shipping if you were just honest and put on your website it takes approximately you know a week to three weeks to receive items I would’ve been OK with the timeline

When the amp in my BMW X3 failed I decided, rather than have it fixed for $600 or replaced for over $2000, to buy a Revenant Amp from Bavsound. Unfortunately, back in April, the new amp was not ready to ship. I placed my order on April 8 and was charged $1497 with a promise that the newly redesigned model would be in my possession by mid-May, but at the worst case, definitely before the end of May.

When June 1 came and there was no sign of an amp or even a letter from Bavsound I reached out to them. In reply I received a casually and disrespectfully worded email which explained the long delay and proposed a June 11 ship date.

I accepted the new date, though in my response I noted that customers are not properly addressed as Hey Joe, etc.

Today I received a generic email from Bavsound cancelling my order. It says that "our credit card processing firm has identified this order as having a high risk for fraud." Fraud? They have been sitting on my fifteen hundred for two months, and now they insult me with the suggestion that I am up to some chicanery? What a company! Makes one wonder how good their products actually are.

I am reporting them to the Secretary of State of California and offer, for anyone interested, a copy of their cancellation email below. Note that though they have not yet refunded my $1497 they are encouraging me to go ahead and place a new order paying via Pay Pal or Affirm. It seems an amazing scam. Here is their cancellation letter with a few lines left out.

"We really hate this, but we wanted to let you know we've had to cancel your order....we did this because our credit card processing firm has identified this order as having a high risk for fraud. In order to protect you, we've cancelled the order.
But fear not!...If you place your order again using PayPal or Affirm, we can approve and ship it right away.
YOU DO NOT need an account to check out using PayPal and you can use your credit card. Simply select PayPal "Guest Checkout" and enter your credit card details.
Our site has saved most of your information. Simply add the items to your cart again, and check out in the same way you did before, selecting your new payment method...Simply reply to this email with any questions, or call 888-878-5520."

Needless to say, I do not recommend Bavsound to anyone. Hey! Hey!
