you can't share your screen AND video of yourself at the same time. no more options to "hand over the remote," & use it like a nested browser, like on rabb.it. honestly, this is a really bad attempt at making a better screen sharing app, they totally failed to improve upon an already great app (rabb.it)

My friends and I used Rabb.it at least once a week. Since it switched over to kast, we used it once. That one time was the day we discovered Rabb.it was over. The accessibility was so bad we haven't used it since and just stick to screen sharing on discord.

Closing down rabb.it and creating this abomination of an application was the worst mistake the developers have ever made. Most of the time it doesn't even run, and if it does, runs like absolute crap

i feel awful for all the times i complained about rabb.it being bad. i took it for granted. kast is just completely non-functional and a pain to work with. i spend more time trying to make it work than i do actually watching anything on it.

the tutorial shows options and settings that are vital to the entire point of the apps function. However these options do not show up whatsoever, which completely ruins the experience. Somehow you managed to make a website that is more pathetic and frustrating than RABB.IT was. Congrats <3

What can I say? It runs like crap. The audio desync is horrible. Bring Rabb.it back.

Can't even stream anything. As soon as you click on the video icon and comes up with the stream display window where you can chose what to stream it crashes. It literally kills itself as soon as that window opens. I don't even know why this exists if it doesn't even work. I can't believe I tried a whole hour trying to get this rubbish service to work.

Guess I gotta go back to the drawing board to find another way to stream with the people I want to spend time with. What a bummer.

So abysmally confusing and absolutely no way of hosting a video and voice chat at the same time. Forcing you to type. What is the point of watching something together if you cant even talk during it. If I could rate this lower I would.

Pathetic UI, echo if you're talking to anyone else online. Your settings button only helps you change account information. The fact that anyone would put this service on the internet and have the audacity to put ads on it astounds me. Please don't support them.

I would give it a zero if I could. This discord ripoff is nothing short of disappointing. Just bring back rabb.it. Literally nobody wants this.

Literally like an off brand discord tbh. Like, it just seems similar almost. Rabb.it was WAY BETTER. Just bring back rabb.it. Seriously. Quit trying to copy discord.

ABSOLUTE CRAP. Kast seriously needs to be outcasted and Rabb.it needs to be brought back. You can't even get Kast to work 100% of the time, and you can't even get a virtual browser like Rabb.it so I can't even watch all my material with my boyfriend. Thanks to both Kast and Rabb.it for making LDR's a whole lot worst.

The whole reason I used rabb.it was to use it to watch videos with my friends at the same time.
I have used Kast numerous times again and again and while there have been a few minor improvements with the streaming-
but the whole point of rabb.it was to use a web browser to watch videos at the same time as everyone else. So there wouldn't be any delay between individuals. Replacing rabb.it with this service seems like a bad idea..

Also, kast is unable to stream audio from the host's laptop, resulting in the rest of the watchers having to listen to terrible audio quality playing from the host's speakers and being picked up again from their mic, often ending up with a delay as well. (Tho this issue might have been solved for some people)

The program is difficult to navigate. Also, I personally don't have any use for the 4 slots.
While there is great potential for this streaming service, the current version of kast we have right now is terrible in comparison to rabb.it.

Something positive is the general layout of this streaming service. While some aspects may be difficult to navigate, the layout is really nice to the eyes in my opinion. Nothing is too cramped, there isn't too much text, a very nice colour scheme especially.

Also, this may not be an issue with the actual program but I'm not too fond of the way rooms/parties work. Separating the Kaster and the viewer in private parties/rooms. Tho it seems to be useful for public parties so that's nice.

We just want to be able to watch stuff at the same time- for commentary sake. It's really frustrating as a user personally and I hope this issue will be solved soon.

My friends and I were redirected to Kast.gg when rabb.it shutdown. This gave us some hope of still being able to watch stuff together, but OH BOY were we wrong... We ALL experienced problems right of the bad and tried all online solutions, but to no avail.
Main problem we had and still have is that we can share what we are watching, but the viewer get NO audio at all and if we tried to get it to "computer sound" then the video would freeze up but we would have audio... We even tried VB-audio, a third party software that Kast.gg recommends, and still no avail, sure we would have audio. However, using VB-audio killed our surround sound making it unbearable, as we all are used to surround sound.

Absolutely abysmal software. Needlessly complicated, riddled with bugs, and lacking some extremely basic features. Do not, under any circumstances, download this - you'd have better luck just hitting play at the same time while watching it offline.

This is complicated for no reason. Rabbit would just have a browser within a browser and the audio was just what was ever playing on your pc, but I keep having to tweek the audio. And if you try to play a game that takes up the screen, it won't show only what is on your screen other than the game. We can't just get in and broadcask, there's always some issue, or me having to look up what's going on, ruining the fun getting together with friends on line.
