Kast is by far one of the worst services you could possibly find. even their help pages are unhelpful. it's one of the only places you can go after rabbit died, and i would rather just watch my stuff alone given my options.

former user of Rabb.it and was redirected to it,..while using it i immediately found it hard to use, very much expected rabbit under a different name,.. it just doesn't connect for me and when it does, it's laggy..
just bring back Rabb.it.. it's what sold the users on coming there in the first place.

How is this 'replacing' rabbit? It's just another screenshare tool. You could just use skype or discord. A huge problem with everyone is streaming computer audio from the window you're playing, for everyone there's little to no fix.

Kast is without a doubt the worst website/application/whatever I've ever used. It's so non-user-friendly it's unbelievable. It's truly garbage.

All of the how-to videos, troubleshooting articles, etc. they have available from their own website are beyond useless and provide no help at all whatsoever. I understand it's relatively new but good god, I hate it. I have an easier time navigating websites that are entirely in Chinese or Russian without translating than I do with this waste of time.

It's almost offensive to me that I get redirected from "rabb.it" to this atrocity. I hope for their sake and for all the people that worked on this pile of garbage that they're able to salvage it or make some extreme changes so all the time and resources don't go completely to waste.

I like kast a lot and nearly use it every day. I love to share my favorite movies and watch dem together with friends or random ppl. Everything worked well so far and I already recommend it to friends (:

It sucks, the Rabb.it app was much better than this, can't even join a friends party on this app nor can I watch any shows with my friend on this app. To be honest this is crappiest casting app ive seen. Rabb.it was ok but this is so damn crappy it hurts.

Wish they could have just kept rabbit and just changed the name this is terrible. There are a ton of issues such audio and video quality. Issues with joining too.

It honestly sucks shadow the hedgehog peepee. Rabb.it was 10 million times better, and this is just a mess.

Wish I could give less than one star. Your service is terrible and doesn't work. Whoeverdecided that Rabbit needed to be replaced with Kast deserves a hard punch to the face, and this is me being as generous as I possibly can be. Kast legitimately just has no business existing at all

Absolutely horrid. It has nothing to do with rabbit whatsoever. It's pretty much an ugly UI and invasive version of skype or discord. You can share your screen and you can turn on your webcam. Welcome to Kast. That's all there is to it, and it's about as populated as a sleepover in Chernobyl.

Please, do yourself a favor and stay away from this god forsaken abomination. It is a living example that you don't ever need to fix what isn't broken, especially when that "fix" is practically shattering the vase.

False advertising. Says it's a replacement for rabb.it, doesnt have the bare minimum stuff rabbit had. I want to Voice. Chat. While. Watching. Videos. Is that so god damn hard to do? You can't even use another program to voice chat since the only audio sharing option is your whole browser. Found no guides on if this is fixable or possible. What's the point? Lairs.

I honestly dislike this. Unlike Rabbit it's very invasive and the Ux design is horrible and not friendly at all. Please give us back rabbit, this is a monstrosity.

i wish i could rate 0 stars this program doesnt even launch most of the time and when it does it freakin sucks. the ui is clogged with all kinds of useless crap and i cant even steam anything. seriously ive been trying for hours now and not once has it allowed either of us to stream it just crashes. worthless program I WANT RABB.IT BACK JESUS WHY DID YOU PPL KILL IT?!!!

Rabbit was amazing, my best friend and I got to watch so much together and I always felt closer to her when we hung out and watched shows and movies. She lives four hours away from me and we don't live on our own and have jobs so we cannot visit one another right now.

Kast comes out and it seems really complicated so she decides she doesn't want to bother with it. We ended up not doing anything related to watching shows or movies together. Yesterday she came to me wanting to watch The Promised Neverland with me and so I set out to figure out Kast. It worked fine when I was alone in my group, streaming my drawing program of all things. But when she joined and I tried streaming chrome, the screen was black. Had to change settings just to allow it to show up on Kast. And after that, it still wouldn't show up on her screen.

Left and came back, it worked, but now she couldn't hear it and the quality was ridiculously low! My friend is the kind of person who would never watch something if it were low quality. She says it's either she watches it well or she doesn't watch it at all. I poked around but did I find any settings to change the quality? No, not at all. At least Rabbit gave us that option and at least she enjoyed watching with me on Rabbit. I admit, Kast looks cool and it allows you to stream your screen and programs that Rabbit never let you, but it has so many issues that the experience was only frustrating and far from enjoyable!

Maybe her and I will watch videos and movies and shows together in the future once we're living together. Or, if Kast starts pulling itself together before 2021, we could even enjoy spending time watching shows and movies together before then. I doubt it, but it would be a wonderful surprise. But for now, my experience with it has left a bad taste in my mouth.
