John Hall's Alaska took care of us from beginning to end. They took care of the luggage, all the tours, most of the dining. They helped us with the pre- and post- trips, as well. Every person we interacted with was super pleasant and helpful.

Everything was really phenomenal: The locations we visited, the food by a personal chef on the Admiralty Dream, the personnel who led tours and on and on! It was especially nice to have John Hall and his family along on the Admiralty Dream because he is extremely knowledgeable about Alaska. Also, the fact all people who attended to us, led tours, being native Alaskans we marvelous!

We had a trip of a life time. We were well taken care of with not a care in the world while we traveled. It was well organized and we had no hiccups, but if we would have JH would have taken care of it and us promptly and smoothly. I would strongly recommend a trip with them

It was great being greeted by the kind and helpful John Halls workers at the Airport. It was so organized from start to finish. We always knew where to be and what was going on.

Our tour experience was nothing short of amazing. The Driver / Tour Guide was fantastic, the motor coach was clean and comfortable, the selection of sites that we visited was awesome. We enjoyed our lunch stops at Trappers Den and Tolsona Lake. The excursion through Prince William Sound, and several sightings of Mount McKinley were particularly special. The meals, whether at a back country lodge or a high end restaurant were all incredible and we shared them with a wonderful group of people from all over the country.

The itinerary was great. We saw/experienced so many things that we would never have been able to do otherwise. Our driver/Tour Manager, Jeremy, was awesome and shared his vast knowledge of Alaska and First Nation history. We also always felt safe with him behind the wheel. We were treated royally!

I went on the "Untamed Alaska" tour and from the moment I was greeted at the airport in Anchorage by Adison and Landy at midnight and taken to the Captain Cook Hotel I knew I was in good hands and this was going to be unbelievable...and it was!!

A HUGE shoutout to Jeremy Riddle who led our group(family) on this 11 day adventure. Jeremy guided us every day with his stories and unbelievable knowledge of this great and beautiful land.
From halibut fishing in Cordova to a helicopter landing on a glacier in Denali and riding on the Alaska Railroad with it's glass domed cars and GoldStar service with lunch on board to Talkeetna was a great experience and made me just love Alaska even more.
So because of this wonderful experience I have already committed to the "National Parks" tour next year for a new 14 day adventure.

John Hall was on the ball! We were treated well, and did not have to worry about anything. From the moment we landed in Anchorage to the moment we departed on the last day we were well taken care of. Our Tour Manager, Steve Thompson, was so nice and knowledgeable with Alaska. It was so much fun being on his coach. Our daughter has many dietary needs and he made sure to double check on everything she ordered or was served. This was our tour and John Hall has set the bar high! Thank you for being such a great company that serves so well.

The company handled everything for us. we were extremely impressed. The only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars was because we did not receive emails that were sent out concerning a side adventure that we had an option to take and one on Cluster app.

The planning and coordination were fantastic. Our tour guide, Jeremy, was great!

My husband and I went on the Untamed Alaska tour and it was amazing from beginning to end. John Hall's is superior in the industry and so well known that everywhere we went we received white glove, top notch service. My personal favorite was our time spent at the Orca Adventure Lodge in Cordova. This is such a unique and special place that you felt like family.

This trip was incredibly well organized, yet it did not feel overly structured or mechanistic. These folks know what they are doing!

Our tour was flawless, simply the best. The communication before and during the trip was thorough, accurate and responsive. The experiences on the tour were fun, engaging, educational, relaxing and allowed us to be immersed in the various cultures of New Zealand and Australia. The tour was diverse in seeing the many aspects of the countries (cultures, geography, flora/fauna and wildlife). Our needs were anticipated and supported throughout the time on the tour. Each member of the tour team (guides, drivers) focused on ensuring our experience was top notch. They were informative, personal and caring. The tour was amazing!

We had a family emergency requiring us to depart from our tour a few days before the end. Our tour manager, Jeremy, and President, Elizabeth, COO, went above and beyond in facilitating our trip home (booked flights, picked us up from the airport in a snow storm) and followed up with us during our trip home and after our trip home. We felt very cared for and supported.

This is our second trip with John Hall's Alaska. Both of them have been filled with excellent experiences, good food, excellent accomodations, and a nice balance of activity, scenery, history, nature, and local culture. Our guides have been knowledgeable and very helpful. I just finished making a photo album of our trip, and was amazed at the variety of things we saw and did. We especially enjoyed going into the homes of local families, to experience local food and hospitality.

This was my first international tour of my life. John Hall staff before I left and Jeremy Riddle our tour manager took care of everything, from Visas to customs. Every day was an adventure as we traveled around Australia and New Zealand. The Great Barrier Reef, UNESCO sites, the Outback, Little Penguins, Sydney Opera House, Queenstown, Kiwi hatchery, Milford Sound, Jet Boating and so many other adventures. The food was delicious and very local.

I always know that the company will take care of any problems or issues that arise. The staff demonstrates their knowledge, efficiency & caring in all interactions I have experienced with them.

Excellent service as always. Highly recommend any of John Halls tours.

No problems. I was met at the airport in Buenos Aires, taken to the hotel in a timely matter and same on return. Jenny took good care of us.

My husband and I went on the Alaska’s Winter Wonders trip (March 9-16, 2025)
and had a fantastic time. From start to finish, everything was expertly planned out to fit in as much of Alaska’s winter experiences as possible. Their organization is top notch. We were given detailed information about everything in advance and customer service (for any questions) was the best we have ever experienced. Our tour guides Joe and Matt were kind, knowledgeable, professional, and funny (and fun to be around). We learned so much about Alaska. Our adventure began in Fairbanks, then, two nights at Borealis Basecamp. This is where I was able to complete my bucket list wish of seeing the amazing aurora borealis, two (2) nights in a row! And we were in awe, the entire time. We were told these were some of the best northern lights our tour guides had seen!
Our days were filled with Alaska adventures such as dog sledding with professional mushers, and the options of snowmobiling, helicopter sightseeing, a class on curling, then a scenic drive in a beautiful custom tour bus to Talketna, and then to Anchorage In between, and after arrival, there were more opportunities for more activities and adventures as well as delicious meals that were all included. Overall, this was one of our favorite trips (a trip of a lifetime) and we would gladly repeat it.
