Absolute joke of a company, I’m on 3 weeks , constantly ignored , they even went above and beyond and said that their warehouse was on fire that’s why the lights been delayed. Completed ghosted and down $260. Absolutely embarrassing

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Lights listed on website as "shipped within 2-5 business days of order" are still to arrive nearly two months later. Only one of many queries was answered -- to the effect that the items would be delivered within a week. They weren't. Not a serious company.

Behind this website is the COOBUY LTD. They are known for selling cheap products over a lot of websites. Including cloths, lights and even E-Bikes that might be dangerous or even illigal on public roads in the UK an Europe under a lot of diffrent brands. The German consumer protection center is warning about them. My experience with them: Don't try to repair or install anything. Toss it and buy some Ikea Lamp or for their other products, save more money and buy something an electrician, a bike store or someone else can actually repair.

I would not buy any products of this company again.
Edit after respons: The Coobuy LTD is still (as of writing (16. August 2025) proudly mentioned as the only company on the website, where you would look for a company name. - No other company is mentioned on their website. So either put in your company name somewhere, including an address, mail and phone number, or say I am right and you are part of Coobuy LTD. As long as I as a consumer see Coobuy LTD stated as a company, I assume your website belongs to them.

It's a SCAM! Run! We never recieved the order we placed. They never answer to any emails. Not a reachable contact details. I doubt they exist at all. Just a website with ligthing photos and waste your money the moment you order through them.

Absolutely terrible company. I wish I had read these reviews prior to placing an order with them. DO NOT USE THEM. BUY YOUR LIGHTS FROM LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE.

I placed an order with them on 26th November 2024. Heard absolutely nothing from them for a week, despite their website claiming a 2-5 day processing time. Emailed them and received a response saying they would send a tracking number in '24-72 hours'. One week later, on 9th December, I still had not received anything and by this point, the light was no longer required - our electrician had been and gone and had organised another light to put up. So I messaged the company and asked them to cancel my order, which was still marked as processing.

Having been asked to cancel the order, they immediately marked my order as shipped. Of course.

On 10th December, I emailed again asking why they had done this and asking for proof and received a response apologising, claiming they'd been on holiday (apparently were still able to be there to mark the light as having been shipped), and providing a Royal Mail tracking number. The email also, falsely, claimed that the light had 'already arrived at the local courier's warehouse' - a very stupid lie given the tracking number they provided me said Royal Mail were still waiting to receive it from LightingO.

The light finally arrived on 23rd December, nearly a month after placing the order. I did not open it and emailed on 1st January asking for them to organise a return and refund. They have not responded (they have ignored my last 4 messages sent, going back to 13th December 2024).

Absolutely avoid this company.

This company is a scam. I made an order few before and received no updates. I emailed them and got nothing back. Stay away.

We bought lights from them that looked gorgeous on the photos, but cheap in reality. Half of the parts didn't fit together. There were no instructions either. We first asked for instructions, then for a replacement. They sent us more parts and those didn't work either. That wasn't a cheap light - £326. In the end, one handyman somehow put the parts together by omitting some bits and using extra screws and nails. It didn't look great. And the electrics didn't work! They kept promising a replacement via email, but all they do is promise.
In spite of being called co.uk, they aren't in the UK, they send all their stuff from China. The correspondence is also from China and often I had to explain things multiple times. Avoid buying from them as a plague.

Wasted £326 and will never buy directly from such Chinese companies again. Now I always check the company before buying stuff like this.

Ordered outdoor lights for my patio. One arrived damaged, but they sent a replacement right away. Happy with the lights and the service.

I bought three lamps in January 2024, but one was damaged on delivery. I raised a request and got a positive answer immediately. However since then, I’ve had several promises to despatch a replacement part, but now won’t even respond (Emily). Sadly, this company appears to be a Chinese mainland company which will not honour customer service support to the UK. I would avoid this company at all costs! Post note- sadly what is written below in response is not accurate. I was offered £10, increased to £30 after I demonstrated I’d had to order a UK replacement shade (£27). I was then offered £35 to remove my review which I declined. Apparently I’m now not getting the replacement shade which was despatched already ?? Please, save yourselves this grief. UPDATE March 21 - no replacement parts, shipping info or promised refunds received despite from assurance from Emily and Kaylee! Although Trustpilot rate them at 4.1, it’s actually about 1 in 3 customers rate them at 1! Not a great service record and I now understand why. More reasons to encourage you to shop elsewhere I’d hope.

Ordered lighting on the 7th Feb £4798.62 and have heard absolutely nothing from them regarding delivery of payment. Thank goodness I paid through PP. Shame this was for one room and I have several more to do, it certainly will not be with this fraud company

The assembly instructions were a bit confusing, but the customer service team was quick to assist. The light now stands beautifully in my room, creating a cozy atmosphere.

Two sets of lights ordered (over £600) on 3rd December. I chased up the order, received a reply and finally received via Royal Mail on 28th December.
Lights were ordered as a Christmas gift and due to late arrival were no longer needed.
I contacted lighting O on 8th January to initiate a return and refund.
Lighting O are now telling me that if I want a refund then I have to send the lights back to America (I live in the UK) and that I will have to pay a fee to have the lights retested which will then be deducted from my refund.
The lights have not been removed from the box and are still in packaging.
I do not know whether they work and I feel that this is a complete scam.
Maybe posting on here will help to resolve my problem. I want a full refund. I am happy to return to the UK address in Slough in the postage label!
I will be taking this further if they do not reply ti the email I have sent to them again
