I was looking for a recognised translation service to deal with a one pager medical certificate (from Italian to English). I found Lingvo House online and was extremely impressed - within 5 hours (maybe less!) I had my translation available for review and once I approved it I received the finalised PDF copy immediately!
The process to request the translation is extremely quick, easy to use and definitely the cheapest that I found.
You are provided with the option to give inputs and feedback on the translation. You may be charged a few extra pounds if you need it sent by post. They also give you the option for the 24-hour delivery of translation, however even if I didn't request it within a few hours I had my certificate translated and approved. the NHS accepted it without any problems.

The only downside is that all the associated "Translayte" links that I received by email did not work, but got around the problem by staying signed in to the Lingvo House website since all the communication is done via the "messages" function.

I'm sure I'll be using this service again in the future.

Absolutely brilliant, fast and affordable

Be aware! Never do anything for them without COMPLETE 100% PRE-payment.
I never in my life had such a bad experience with a company.
After I had delivered everything on time as agreed in the contract and they had approved everything, they wanted more than 3 weeks after the delivery deadline additional stuff outside the contract for free, which is already not okay to force freelancer to deliver stuff outside the contract for free.
They wrote they do not pay me when I do not send it.

I sent the additional stuff which was extra work not paid for because I wanted my money.

And then they claimed the extra delivered files are not okay and they will not pay me.

I proved with screenshots and videos that everything is complete and works perfect. So their claim was obviously not the truth.

After I explained them the legal consequences when they do not pay me like
- a complaint to the Competition and Markets Authority in the UK because of a breach of contract, copyright infringement, unlawful contract clauses like 15% payment deduction per hour of overdue delivery deadline etc. and a lawsuit for copyright infringement against them and the end customer this seems to be too risky for them, so they suddenly paid.

So obvoiusly: the legal and financial consequences of not paying me were too risky for them.

I had to fight to get my money - prove everything and working together with a lawyer to get my money.

My hint: Never deliver anything to this company without 100% PRE-PAYMENT if you do not want to run after your money after the delivered work.
