WARNING: Fraudulent safety checks left my family stranded overnight
I took my Peugeot 3008 for a Full Service at Loyal Auto Services Ltd on Wednesday the 26th. Technician Deepak officially signed off on the BookMyGarage checklist stating that the spark plugs were checked and completed. This was completely falsified.Just days later, on Sunday the 30th while driving 75 miles away from home in Wantage with my husband and three minor children, the engine suffered severe misfires and forced the car into limp mode. An emergency RAC patrol technician attended the scene at midnight, ran diagnostics, and pulled out the spark plugs. The RAC explicitly confirmed that the plugs were completely finished and had clearly never been changed or checked during the service. With oil around them. Because of this garage's dangerous dishonesty and negligence, the car was unroadworthy. No recovery vehicles or hire cars were available through the night, forcing my family to spend a grueling night stranded on the roadside. We had to take an expensive long-distance emergency taxi at 6:00 AM just to get our children home safely to Coventry.Worse yet, we trusted this garage enough to service two of our vehicles on the exact same day. Because they fabricated safety documents on the first car, we now cannot trust the safety or validity of the work done on our second vehicle. This goes beyond poor workmanship—it is a fraudulent breach of contract and a serious safety failure that endangered my young children. I am demanding full refunds and reimbursement for all emergency travel costs under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.Avoid this garage at all costs if you value your safety.
