Alaina at the Boise branch off of broad and 3rd was absolutely amazing! We needed help with my husbands business account and she was able to get us exactly what we needed. Very informative and helpful

What an incredible banking experience!

After having a more-than-dreadful experience at a branch closer to our home, we honestly weren’t sure what to expect when we came to Farmington. The difference was night and day.

Tyson was absolutely delightful. From beginning to end, he provided personal service, professional guidance, and a genuine sense that our financial priorities mattered. He took the time to help us understand our options, made the entire refinance process comfortable and straightforward, and treated us like people—not just another transaction.

This was genuinely one of the best banking experiences we have ever had. At this point, we might as well move to Farmington because apparently that’s where all the wonderful people are! 😂

Thank you, Tyson, for your kindness, professionalism, patience, and exceptional service. You completely turned around our impression after our previous experience, and we are incredibly grateful. This is exactly what banking should feel like.

Piss poor financial services offerings and member services policies—complete crap since they “updated their system” this year making EVERY FORM member finance management and services a complete joke now and waste of time.

MACU is no longer what it was the past several years and it fiedntbevdn have the excuse other similarly highly suspect credit unions have by way of using the excuse of it becoming a commercial banking and finance stylized institution.

The weaknesses now is “system update of 2026” is to blame for ALL of basic banking and finance loan products and conflicts with newly implemented policies now automated make their entire credit union a complete joke and waste of time.

I was able to get a VISA credit card and a loan with MACU easily both with low interest and I didn't even have my checking or savings account with them. They've been great! Plus they are great at catching fraudulent activity and stopping it.

I went to the branch 5600 S in West Jordan. A teller named Jose helped me. I’m grateful for his kindness and professionalism.

I went to the location on Power road in Mesa, AZ. I was helped by someone whose last name was Rizo (I can’t remember his first name). He was very kind, friendly, and helpful. I don’t normally write reviews, but he delivered an exceptional customer service experience and went above and beyond. He helped me to withdraw some money and even helped me set up an over the phone appointment to open a credit card. I hope this review finds his manager because Rizo was awesome.

Stacy Ondongo with Mountain America Credit Union made my experience wonderful! She helped me find the best options for me and she helped me find the money that I needed to consolidate my debt. She works hard to help her customers and communicates which is amazing because she doesn’t leave you wondering what is going on. I highly recommend Mountain America Credit Union!

We've banked with MACU for a long time and it's my favorite credit union by far! When we moved to California, where there wasn't one, we kept it as our main account even though we opened local accounts where ever we moved. I'm so glad they have branches in Henderson, NV. Just called the main number with an issue regarding my Zelle account and Jackson Pierce helped solve my problem and he answered several of my questions. MACU you're doing a great job on hiring the right people! I'm grateful for another positive banking experience. Customer service has always been wonderful!

Most of you people probably don’t read these. So to keep it short, pick a different bank or credit union to go with. Te problems with MACU are endless, stressful, heartbreaking, and can leave you stranded, lost, or worse with no way to access or utilize your own funds. This is not a joke or an exaggeration, you have all been warned!

Spent 3 hours on the phone to make a purchase being blocked by MACU saying to call customer service just for Fraud to tell me it's not them when the notice flat out said it is. 1 out of 5 stars. Horrible customer service, time handling and fraud team lack of caring for their issues is concerning. Might have to move banks now.
