If you don't like their quote they ask to pay for shipping fee too which is literally BS. Worst company.

This business is a joke! They have effectively stolen my Apple Watch Ultra 2!
They confirmed they received it, approved the payout and never transferred the funds! I have had no choice to raise a case of theft with the authorities and with Consumer affairs.
All I can suggest you "do your due diligence" before considering using these pelicans.

Unresponsive Support and Missing Laptop – Avoid!
I sent in my laptop to ManMadeCycle with a satchel provided by them and they have not received it within the timeframes they expected.
I submitted a form through their website and heard no response so had to send multiple follow up emails to finally get any sort of response only to be told that parcel missing enquiries are only available for their premium membership and they won't even send any details of the satchel so I could follow up with AusPost (granted I should have taken note of the details better but I thought it would be in both our interests to sort this out). Waste of time, poor customer service and now out a laptop as well, would not recommend.

Wish there was a zero stars. I’ll preface this by saying I did via mail due to being in a remote area of WA, so was not a in person transaction. First they will do is try and undercut their quoted price. Second thing they will do is ignore and waste days on end until you finally hunt them down. Then they will pretend the device you purchased was incorrectly priced and they need to charge you more for that device (pretty sure that’s illegal under Australian consumer law, but you know…we’ve come this far 🤷♂️) then they will take longer than Noah took to build the Ark when you finally say “f* this whole deal cancel my order and send me my phone back now!” This whole process took almost 2 months…no phone…wouldn’t do business with these clowns again to save my life. Genuine zero stars.
The right thing, right on time!
The product, a genuine Microsoft Surface Pro Type Cover, was exactly as it was described and it arrived in excellent time through the Priority Post.
Laptop died after 8 months
The laptop I purchased only lasted approx 8 months. Sent back in for repair under warranty. Took nearly 3 weeks and me making half a dozen calls/emails to even get a response. Finally they said they couldn’t repair the screen and they were sending a new one which I thanked them for. When the new laptop arrived none of my files had been copied over. I called and asked for a copy of everything to me mailed out. They told me I should’ve asked for that and wanted to charge me over $150. I tried to dispute this fact and was just met with smug comments and refusal. I finally agreed so I wouldn’t lose countless old family photos. 6 months later I’ve sent another half dozen emails and made half dozen phone calls and never received a response.
Stolen my device, no refund.
My laptop went missing in the mail on its way to them. It wasn't their fault that it went missing, but they refused to help throughout the process. AusPost wanted them to raise a case with them which they told me was done, but AusPost begged to differ.
After months of waiting, finally AusPost found it and sent it to them. Again, after waiting I didn't hear anything back for over a month despite following up.
I called them again, they said they can only offer me about half of the original offer. I was pretty shocked, especially after the horrible experience and lack of support they'd given me. I refused the offer and asked them to return the laptop to me which they agreed to do. They said it would be sent within 5 days.
This was 25 days ago. Again, I've followed up twice and haven't hear anything back.
They taken my device, not sent it back and not sent me any money for it.
Do not use ManMade Cycle. If anything goes wrong, you'll never be able to get in contact with them and you'll probably not get your device back either.
My original request to them was 27/12/2024. The amount of time I've wasted because of their incompetence is an absolute joke and not even worth the value of the laptop.
I'm off to VCAT to get this resolved.

So, I bought a Microsoft Surface Pro 4, a refurbished one by unspecified company for commercial reasons. When it arrived, I used it about a week, but I didn't like it. Then, I started looking for companies that I could sell it to and that's when I stumbled across ManMade Cycle. What made different from its competitors was it was offering more. After that, I applied, they accepted, gave me instructions, followed them, packed it and sent it.
After some two week-ish, they emailed me of the device's arrival. Some inspection took place, and after two hours, they emailed again saying that "the device had a "company lock" that must be removed!" just like that with no proof. I replied to them to send me the IMEI number so I can get it removed.
They replied again that they can't because its "locked". That's when I told them to send it back since I can't get it removed.
They replied to me they can't pay for its delivery since its "locked". I agreed then they told me to confirm delivery address. I asked them where I could do that, and that email is left unanswered.
I also tried to call them on their number, told them everything, and they asked me if I knew who had my device. I told them that I didn't, and they asked me to call after I knew who had it. I checked my emails, found out who it was, and then quickly called them. To my surprise, they didn't pick up. It's been a week now since I've been trying to reach them and am thinking about firing a lawsuit against them.
MY ADVICE, DO NOT SELL YOUR DEVICE TO THESE SCAMMERS! DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU!
EDIT: They recently contacted me to give me my money, 2/3 of it that is. WOW, just WOW.

My beloved 2011 iMac 27" recently died (graphics card issue) and needed a quick replacement. So I purchased a 2017 Retina iMac 27" from ManMade Cycle. It arrived (I'm in QLD) in just a few days and was packaged well in the original protective carton. Initial inspection showed it was in excellant condition as per the sale advert description. So plugged it in, set required preference to suit my needs, etc and transferred data from the previous iMac via iCloud and it has been running perfectly since with the required tweeks to update the various original application programs/apps to suit to "Monterey OSX" running on this replacement 2017 iMac (NB: It came with High Sierra installed as per original supply). Happily recommend ManMade Cycle to those looking for good quality/good value reconditioned Mac products

Incredibly disappointing trade in…
Incredibly disappointing trade in experience. Your website promotes 8 hour payment, but the process actually took 8 business days, and 4 phone calls to follow up. The drop off process was difficult, and your staff weren’t in the office to receive it when they said they would. Staff were apologetic but clueless and made more promises that were not kept.
Trade in price was better than competitors, but your website doesn’t match your assessment process, and you marked tiny surface scratches as major defects and paid significantly less than quoted.
Take the advice of multiple reviews and avoid this company.
Failure to provide service advertised and promised
I recently sent 2 device to Manmade Cycle for reuse/recycle.

Order 01-01-25-52185 still outstanding. As this remains unresolved I have submitted a complaint to Consumer Affairs Victoria (C2025/02/007337).
My experience has been highly disappointing. Despite their promise of prompt payment within 8 hours of receiving a device, I haven't received payment following confirmed delivery of my devices on 21-01-2025. I also have not had any reply to my follow-up email enquiries. This delay in payment and lack of responsiveness is unacceptable.
I am thoroughly dissatisfied with Manmade Cycle and question their reliability. I hope they can improve their service in the future as reducing environmental waste and building sustainability are concepts many would like to support. A good start would be updating their advertising to more accurately reflect timeframes and set expectations.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Quoted me ten times the prices as to what they ended up giving me. I asked for my item to be returned as I was appalled at the proposed new price, which was actually lower than the $15 return shipping fee. Took weeks to get anyone reply to any email and in the end took me three months to be paid. AVOID THIS SERVICE - SCAMMERS!!!
I’ve also just read their reply - entirely falsified. Even if the model was broken, it was quoted to be $15. Also, I was told I would have to cover the $15 shipping costs. Further, there was no hold up with the $5 payment after I gave in - I uploaded my I’d and had been paid less than 24hours after giving up and agreeing to the $5. Company spouts lies - do not use!!

Very bad customer service! Don’t respond to emails, still waiting for payment for the laptops that I sent in, been waiting for 4 days and counting, so it’s a complete lie those 8 business hours payment claims on the website. Go somewhere else and give this “shop” a miss. I wish I could give 0 stars!
