It’s a real. Got my tickets fast. Went to the show. Not a big charge and you can get a little discount if your smart.

I purchased 4 court side tickets for a basketball game, on the day of the game. I did not receive a confirmation email, so started to worry, although my credit card had already been charged. I called marks tickets to have them send the confirmation email, only to find out my order had not been fulfilled as they only had 3 tickets available. They said they could give us three, then after back and forth, said they were no longer available. We then had to find somewhere else to buy tickets as they had no decent seats together available. Here's where it gets good. I am Canadian, and purchased in USD as we were in the U.S. I get home and see on my credit card statement that I was charged $1900 for my tickets, only to receive $1800 in return (because of the currency conversion, and the interest that the credit card company takes). Therefor, I was not only out tickets to the game and was inconvenienced, but after several weeks, calls and emails back and forth with the company, they have still not reimbursed me. Absolutely absurd that I am out $100 dollars for tickets that I never received (and it was their fault). I will be raising this with the better business bureau if I am not reimbursed. Do not use this company for three reasons: 1. They will charge you even before they can fulfill the ticket order 2. Their customer services is terrible, and 3. If you are purchasing the tickets from another country. Buyer Beware.

The pricing initially advertised on their individual ticket prices does not show the full, true price of the total ticket price + fees. Not disclosed in the ticket price is a huge markup "service fee" (in my experience, I found it sometimes to be over 35% of the ticket price initially shown) until you get to the final checkout screen. In my opinion, it also appears that markstickets provides an incentive for people to leave only positive reviews on this site.

The service was non-existent. I got no response when I tried contacting them about my concern.

Edited to add: Yes, you're right. It wasn't 35%. The "service fee" is 31% and isn't disclosed until the very final ordering screen -- after you've filled out your credit card information. Also charges $15 for first class mail. Last time I checked, it costs $0.55 to mail a first class letter. That's an additional $14.45 in profit on a $102 ticket (for example). (Please don't claim it costs you $14.00 for an envelope and someone to stuff it.)

Haven't had a bad experience yet and I am a repeat customer

I have used Mark's twice and feel I received good value for my tickets. My only item of constructive criticism is it took longer than I expected to receive the tickets (e-tickets), maybe if you kept me updated while I waited, I would have felt more comfortable.
