I doubt if this is safe or not
I doubt if this is safe or not. In my first survey it was asking for my data from every google app, which made me suspicious about it so i didn't shared. This simply means they would pay us for spying on our phone. I don't understand.

Thank you for sharing your concerns. We completely understand why being asked to share Google activity data may feel unusual if you’re new to MSR.
To clarify, MSR is not an invasive passive monitoring/ tracking app. We’re a rewards app that members use to share specific types of data as part of wider market research tasks. Participation is always optional, and you can choose which tasks you’re comfortable completing.
For Google Takeout tasks, we only ask you to submit the data specified within the task. The data we collect is used to understand broader digital behaviours and trends, with measures in place to remove identifying information before research data is shared externally.
You’re always in control of what you choose to share, so if you’re not comfortable with a particular task, you do not have to complete it.
We appreciate you raising this, and we hope this provides some clarity on how MSR works.

They suspended my account for no reason.
I clearly did nothing with my account but they still suspended my account. When I reached out to them through email, they gave some generic bot response that I might have broken any of their platform rules which I never broke. I clearly knew their rules and even mentioned that in their mail, but there was no human to check the mail. When I reached out to them through reddit, I got completely ignored. I still have 750+ MSR sitting there and I never got to redeem those(I previously successfully redeemed my MSR points but this time I wanted to redeem after 1000+MSR but they suspended my account for no reason...so disappointing after that long term trust). Moreover they mentioned that this happened for duplicate device usage. I recently sold my old device and I was not even the owner of that device at that time. There was no same IP proof. The company completely relies on automated detection system for that. Terrible experience as I was completely unaware of that fact that they store data to devices even after the devices are factory reset.

We’re sorry to hear how disappointing this experience has been, particularly after being a long-term member of the MSR community.
We also apologise that the response you received from our support team felt generic or automated. Due to the high volume of support requests we receive, we do use automated responses to help manage initial enquiries efficiently.
Having reviewed the account, we can confirm that it was flagged because our systems detected the same device being used in connection with another MSR account under a different email address. Our platform rules state that MSR is limited to one account per person and one personal device per account. We do not permit account or device sharing, as this affects our ability to verify that submitted data genuinely belongs to the individual completing the task.
In this instance, the fraud flag was reviewed and found to be valid, which is why the suspension remains in place. While we understand this isn’t the outcome you were hoping for, these checks are necessary to protect the integrity of our research and ensure that all members are treated consistently.
We’re sorry that the communication surrounding the decision did not provide enough clarity initially, and we appreciate the time you’ve spent as part of MSR.

I keep getting notifications that are irrelevant
I keep getting notifications that are very irrelevant when I used to only get relevant notifications. But they do pay out at 1000 points($10) usually 10 data sells or 2500 points ($25) usually 25 data sells

Good app but not enough payments or tasks
They do well but tasks are less frequent and less MSR so it takes ages to reach the £10 threshold for withdrawal, I’m awaiting my google activity task to finish 200 MSR, tried contacting support no reply, they’ve become a con than a pro

No Payout
On the 29th of June, I tried to redeem my points for a £10 giftcard, I didn't receive any giftcard, so I emailed the support system. The reply came 3 days later and it said that my giftcard had been sent to me, I should check in my spam/junk folder, I checked and didn't find any giftcard, 5 days later, I emailed again to get feedback, but I got none. This is very off putting to me as this is my first time using it and I have not been able to get a reliable support team to help with my issue.

Gift cards are sent via our rewards partner (Tremendous), and in most cases they arrive instantly, but occasionally they can be delayed or filtered by email providers. We can see that our team advised checking your spam/junk folder, as this is the most common cause.
That said, the delay in follow-up is not the experience we aim to provide. If you’re still missing your reward, please reach out again with your account details or ticket reference so we can investigate this properly and make sure you receive what you’re owed.

Account suspended with no warning, no reply to support requests
I had been enjoying using the MSR app, completing tasks and uploading data to earn a few quid every month. It had all been very smooth, but then again I hadn't had to contact support!
Out of the blue on logging in it said my account was suspended with no contact or explanation. I of course raised a support request, and resent this when I had not received any reply after a week. Now 12 days later I have had a message saying that as they have taken so long to respond they have closed the ticket, and asked me to open another!
I am still none the wiser about why my account was suspended and it seems their customer service is nonexistent, acknowledging they haven't responded but then just closing the request without any attempt to answer.

1 month and 8 days and Still no help
In your reply to me you have said you would continue by email. You did send an email.
And it was asking me what the issue was.
And I replied 8 days ago but you have not responded.
The main body of my reply is below.
I don't wish to appear frustrated with you but this is wearing me down.
It has brought me to tears.
I feel like I've lost the ability to be understood.
I have explained in 6 emails the issue I'm having.
I have also taken screenshots of my wallet page, showing that there are no monetary buttons on my app under PayPal.
I have explained that the PayPal button does not do anything.
It does not respond to anything.
And yet what have you just asked?
You've asked:
What happens when you tap the PayPal badge?
Even in the email that you are responding to, it says that the PayPal tab (badge) is totally unresponsive.
I have said the same thing in every email.
I have tried my hardest to describe the issue and have explained it in different ways to help it to be understood and yet you and your colleagues reply with the same question.
Each time the response is asking me what is the problem.
This has really upset me.
To have what I am saying completely ignored or not understood is making me feel stupid and totally insignificant.
I cannot think of another way to convey that the PayPal tab/button/badge does not do anything and that there are no buttons/areas/fields with monetary amounts that can be selected.
Please let me make it quite clear that this has upset me and made me feel incompetent.
To date no reply and the issue remains.

I used to make aboutb25 pounds a month but they have stopped all the other retro tasks and I'm lucky if I make 10 pound now. However still better than most apps.

From what you've described, it sounds like you were previously part of our Measure TV Panel, which gives eligible members access to a premium feed with additional monthly earning opportunities. Unfortunately, broadcasters periodically validate panel eligibility, and in some cases they let us know that they're no longer able to measure viewership from a participant's TV setup. When that happens, we have to move members back to the standard MSR feed.
We know this can be disappointing, especially if you've become used to the higher earning potential. That said, we hope you continue to enjoy our weekly tasks and new studies as they become available. We're always working to introduce new ways for our community to earn.
