Great concept, annoying when it fails
It's a great concept that regularly works. But there is an effort cost to retrieving the data, so when it goes wrong for some reason and you're not compensated - it's frustrating.
it's often not clear what has happened, and sometimes it seems completely broken. For example, when providing a brand new data export, being told 'this file has been used before' is beyond frustrating.
Support team are ok, slow to respond and not able to offer much help. But I think this is related to platform issues.

Regarding the message that a file has "been used before," this can sometimes appear even when you've generated a new export. In many cases, this happens when the export doesn't contain enough new activity since your previous submission, rather than the file itself actually being a duplicate. We appreciate that this isn't communicated clearly at the moment, and it's something we're actively looking to improve so members receive more helpful feedback.
We're also sorry to hear your experience with support hasn't met your expectations. While some issues do require investigation, we're continually working on improving both our response times and the information we can provide.

My rating has dropped one star due to a recurring problem I'm getting with one of the tasks, which keeps rejecting it and telling me to do it again and again, but overall I would say this is a great website and company to earn with for your data.

MSR operates a strict one-account-per-person policy to ensure fairness and maintain the integrity of our platform for all users. As part of our verification processes, accounts may be reviewed at the reward redemption stage. Where our systems identify activity that breaches our Terms of Service, including the use of multiple accounts or other violations of our platform policies, the account may be suspended or terminated.
In cases where a payment request is rejected due to a policy violation, any associated contributions may also be removed from the MSR app, as those contributions are no longer eligible for rewards under our platform rules.
We know account actions can be frustrating, but these steps are necessary to protect our research community and ensure rewards go to compliant members.

Account suspended with no explanation given
The first month everything worked great and I was able to cash out . On the 1st of June when the new tasks came out I started uploading my files as usual . A message came across the screen that my account had been suspended after I had uploaded my Amazon purchase information .
I contacted support straight away as advised and haven't heard anything back from them .
I only have one active account . All accounts Amazon , Google , tik tok etc are my own .
The only difference this time was that I uploaded the information through 5g instead of my home WiFi as I was out of the house at the time . I can't understand why that would be a problem . I have had no explanation by email as to why my account has been closed which should surely be standard . Would love some help to get it reopen and to be acknowledged. As I don't feel comfortable with sharing all this information with you including my sky account information to be ignored like this with no explanation
Update .. I was told it was because they had found an account on their system associated with another email address . This account has been completely inactive for over five years and should have been deleted for inactivity .
I was told as a gesture they would allow me to keep this old account which I had no access to. Even after changing the password repeatedly.
I asked to keep my new account as I had access to it .in error I gave them an email address that was not associated with any account on their platform and quickly messaged back to give the actual log in details . Support then stated I must have 3 accounts which I don't ..only the new one and one unused since 2021 then banned them both regardless . I gave my phone number to speak to somebody directly or asked if I could speak to them . Whilst I understand some people do scam the system and create a million accounts I am not one of those people and surely that would only work if data was being uploaded from all accounts . They could see from their systems I have only used one account in five to six years but not bothered regardless.
