Wish they would get the name right after telling them to get ex business partner off the web site and records as I am the one paying the bill from the start. Other than that very helpful I wish the staff could make a decision there and then and the Same with the amendments instead of raising a ticket.

Mettrr staff is great do not let negativity misguide you from choosing this company. They are fast friendly compassionate on the phone verbally and knowledgeable professionals. Mr. Travis, Mr. De'soto and the supervisor Mr. Guillermo and Mr. Lance all amazing and very understanding to the needs and desires I expressed. I highly recommend this company. Have patience and do not be so quick to write negativity about a truly positive company. My experience speaks for itself. I am impressed.

Great customer service but a very basic product.
My overall experience with Mettrr has been a good one. I have a few gripes with the product because I thought they could offer more than was made clear to me. The websites are basic so if you want something sophisticated you won't get it, unless they offer a more advanced product that I wasn't made aware of?
The websites are templates much like you would find with most domain name providers like Godaddy. The difference being they do all the content for you, in reality you will need to rewrite the content to match your specific needs which you need to do through the dashboard and wait up to 24hrs for them to make the changes.
I went into this contract with a vision of what I wanted and have only got a basic version of this which I can live with as a startup. Although I could have achieved this for much less and for the same amount of time I have put in personally.
I am disappointed that I can't have certain features such as a place for customers to upload documents or download documents from the site, it's a pretty basic feature. I haven't asked if I can use google analytics but my guess is I can't.
Mettrr's customer service is excellent which is why I have given 3 stars. They are very attentive and helpful.
I won't be renewing after the contract is up as my business will definitely have out grown what Mettrr can offer me, unless of course they increase their product range.

Hi Phillip, firstly I am glad that our customer service is something that you have enjoyed.
I'll give some positive news for you, Google Analytics is possible with the website - we just need your GA code (just email that to hello@mettrr.com).
It sounds like we haven't done a good enough job of explaining our service to you - a lot of our customers do not always have a very strong design view and do not have the time to build their own site - so this is where we add value by doing all of this for them.
For our customers that have a very strong design view - our service can feel a little hemmed in, but we do have flexibility and this flex increases as we develop our product.
I'm glad though that you can see the value for a startup and will find this useful for your first year. If our product continues to develop at the speed we are working, we may still be an option for you at the end of that period.
Let me just deal with those features you couldn't have:
- Uploading documents: Having a place to upload documents would mean that you would need a database sat behind the website, there would need to be some integration work on top of this, which makes this feature costly and not basic - not something that we offer currently.
- Downloading documents - we do have a feature that we can store documents for you and include links for your customers to click and download them - again, please email those documents to hello@mettrr.com and we will create a download link for you.

CORRECTIONS
The staff has been courteous and accommodating in correcting the many errors but the errors are numerous. Many corrections are needed after each post. It seems no one proofreads the post. I have to point out differences in the original document I send and the content that appears on the website.
Unfortunately, searches for flight training in Pine Bluff does not bring up my website. How will anyone see the website?

Found the service very prompt and helpful.
We had to request several changes, which is still ongoing, to get the website we wanted. However all requested changes were made very promptly, and the team very courteous and helpful.
Need to put some effort in yourself, which is fair enough.

Stay away from METTRR its a terrible company, i honestly mean it. Their webpage and development skills was horrendous.
I am web developer myself but used METTRR so i could focus on other core area's of my business. I spoke to mettrr numerous times to correct changes and even worse METTRR made my webpage live without my consent and it was the worse piece of garage i ever saw.
I had to move my domain else where. They charged me around £500 for a such a rubbish website.
METTRR Communication is extemely poor and even worse is there development Skills. Now i have to pay them even though i moved the webpage else where and i will honour this as im homest but the same.cannot be said for METTRR who are very underskilled.
Stay away METTRR very very POOR web Developer and thats a understatement.

I have looked into your account and situation and will deal with each of your points.
- I am a web developer but used Mettrr so I could focus on other core areas
This could be the crux of your experience with Mettrr. Our service is here for people who do not have web development skills. We build uncomplicated, fast loading, beautiful websites that look great on all devices. However, anyone that is a web developer would most likely become frustrated that they did not have the control over design and functionality.
- METTRR made my webpage live without my consent
We sent you an email saying "Your website is now ready" and you then clicked to publish the website. You then asked us to put the website into maintenance mode which we did.
- I had to move my domain elsewhere. They charged me around £500 for such a rubbish website.
You did not have to move - you chose to move your website. We charged you £500 for a website that carried out exactly what you asked for in your initial call.
You then submitted zero change requests to your website over 10 months.
- METTRR Communication is extremely poor
We sent all necessary email comms which you opened and viewed.
We called you three times to help you become familiar with the website and how the changes process works - you did not answer - we left voicemails.
We responded immediately to your two inbound emails in 10 months.
- Now i have to pay them even though i moved the webpage elsewhere
You have to pay because you are in a 12-month contract that you requested to cancel after 10 months of zero requests.
- "im homest but the same.cannot be said for METTRR who are very underskilled." (sic)
If you are unhappy with our service that is one thing - but to claim we are dishonest is not acceptable. We provided a professional website which met all your requirements - you submitted zero change requests so we did not change anything for you. That is a) not dishonest and b) not underskilled.
All in all Mr Singh, I cannot see that Mettrr could have done too much more to improve your experience given that to me it seems you were not a Mettrr customer - by that I mean our service is not designed to be used by web developers who will understandably become frustrated that they cannot code the site themselves.
Our service is aimed at the millions of people who do not possess web development skills and our customers greatly appreciate the website we produce for them. We wish you all the best in your future endeavours.

I was a rookie when it came to web sites . First I started with Tim Letterman in sales.
Now over the last month the Mettrr team and I have successfully turned on Texus Eat A Bowl . Alan and Nuhm at the company took a hold of me and did not let go !
It is totally a Team effort and you make your own breaks !
Don't expect them to do it all , but they will guide you as you learn Dashboard and how to communicate with them !
I would say to anyone needing a web site that the process is on going , never ending , ever changing !
Be open minded but stay on course with how you want it set up and keep communicating with the staff at Mettrr and you will get what you want !

Very basic, hard to understand the designer
They only offer very basic listings and I could only get 5 pages. They didn't seem to listen to what I wanted and were more interested in selling me add-ons than what I wanted. When I explained that 5 pages wasn't enough they said they'd give me an extra one for free, this should have been offered originally if they were able to do it and not just given after a complaint.
The designer spoke incredibly slowly and was hard to understand so it was less of a discussion of what I wanted and more him taking in what I was trying to say.
I cancelled and designed my own website in the end.

Our standard website package is 5 pages - Extra pages are normally a chargeable extra. Our employee saw that having an extra page may help your design and made the decision to give this to you for free.
This type of judgment call, is normally something that is appreciated by customers rather than becoming the subject of a poor Trustpilot review.

After transfering my domain to them (from GoDaddy) my website and email was DOWN for 6 WEEKS! I run a salon and book most of my clients via online marketing. I was unable to receive or send emails, and lost all credibility online with SEO I had built over the years.
The website they created, which was supposed to be done 3 days after signing up took 6 weeks and was the most pathetic site I have ever seen. The theme looked like I sell bath products, the verbage was written in broken english, stated that I was a company using words like "we" and "us" and even said I sell my own handmade soaps!
When I went to cancel they told me my EPP was locked with them for 60 days. I tried to work with them seeing as I was being held hostage. Once my domain lock was expired I called to cancel as I realized they did NOTHING for my SEO and were incapable of creating a website like the one I had made myself using Website Builder.
Now they are saying I am locked in with them for a YEAR! I signed no contract and was never told of these "terms and conditions". I have asked many times to be sent this contract to no avail. Their customer service is non existant unless you call to sign up, then they are happy to answer and take your money. I have lost so much money, time and credibility I feel this company should be banned from scamming people and hope this review deters hard working people from making the biggest business mistake of their lives.

We recognise there have been service shortfalls with creating a website suited to your business and also within the 48 hours we promised - Our team spent a lot of time trying to rectify issues for you but for this initial failing, we are sorry.
We can see that this was related to the email address used at the time of purchasing. The email you used was one linked to your domain - so when you transferred the domain to Mettrr, you no longer had access to the email. This is what caused the delay - your website was built within 48 hours but you were unable to see the notification until we gained your personal email to send you the details on accessing the website.
- Domain Locked
The day your domain was transferred in to us it was locked for 60 days - This is a rule that is set by the regulator, The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). That lock will apply to any .com domain and it is not something we, or any other provider can change. You transferred in the domain
Under no circumstances does Mettrr hold any customer ‘hostage’ - we are subject to the international laws of domains. I can see from whois.com that the last update was on 4th February 2019, which means the domain lock will be released on 5th May 2019.
As soon as that happens we will provide the EPP code for you to transfer to your new provider.
- 12 month contract
The terms of the 12-month agreement were outlined in the call when you on the day you joined Mettrr. The email to launch the website also includes this.
- Loss of SEO
At most your website would have been down for 3-4 weeks, this is not long enough to do any long-lasting damage to SEO.
- Non-existant customer service
Our customer service is available 10am - 6pm CST and you can also email hello@mettrr.com. We have a dedicated team and I can see that they have been in contact with you several times over the last two months.
- Website design & content
We initially had you in the beauty product sector which is why our team wrote about soaps and other products and this drove imagery. This was corrected within our first conversations with you once the website was live. We created a new sector for you and wrote specific content and provided imagery based on this.
I hope this helps clear up any confusion you may have had. Our focus continues to be helping our customers build better businesses so a manager will contact you directly about the next steps with your account.
