I cannot recommend Caddick Davies Motor Defence Lawyers highly enough. From the very beginning, Niamh McHale was exceptional. Over a difficult six-month period involving two drug driving court appearances, she was always professional, reassuring and supportive. Niamh took the time to understand both my case and my personal circumstances, which made a huge difference and gave me confidence throughout the process.

The solicitors who represented me in court, Daniel and Holly, were also outstanding. Their professionalism, preparation and representation were first class, and I felt I was in the best possible hands at every stage.

We contacted Caddick Davies after our son was charged with ‘driving without insurance’ (despite the fact that he a: wasn’t driving, and b: was insured!).

We were put in touch with Charlotte Bamber who has provided us with exceptional support and advice throughout.

As our son had only been driving for 18 months at the time of the incident, we knew that the 6 point penalty that they asked him to accept would mean that he would lose his license and therefore lose his job (he has a company vehicle and travels about 700 miles a week for work).

Charlotte was confident that our son had a good chance of being acquitted at trial, but she never over-promised. She coordinated the various witness statements and character references needed, and challenged the charges against him with the CPS.

This morning - 24 hours before he was due to attend court - she rang to tell us that the CPS were dropping the case! They admitted that they didn’t have the evidence needed to secure a prosecution (even the police witness statement said that our son was not driving the car!) and that going to court would be a waste of everybody’s time.

So … case dropped. No charges. No criminal record. No fine. No points on his license. And no need to stand up and defend himself in court

I cannot praise Caddick Davies enough for the help they provided. Christopher Green (who handled the case from the outset) and Baljit Ahluwalia (who dealt with the final Hearing) were both outstanding (and a great credit to their firm). I had an amazing initial call with Jacob, super informative on the process. I have a bit of a complex case and my options were all laid out in front of me. I can't thank Caddick Davis enough for their support with my driving licence appeal. After receiving a six-month driving ban for totting up penalty points, they acted quickly to help temporarily lift the ban while we waited for the appeal hearing.

Madeline Sumner kept me updated throughout, clearly explained what evidence I needed, and was always helpful and responsive. I gave myself/ my solicitor (Louis Gorman) a less than 1 % chance of achieving a positive outcome. I got an exceptional outcome from an exceptional solicitor. Louis Gorman did not make any promises or guarantee's but stated that he put forward a very robust defence and leave no stone unturned! And that is exactly what he did! It took 18 months to get to court and took Louis (only) 4 minutes to dismantle the opposition.
