To be honest, I was a little apprehensive about using Movly, as I had never heard of it before. But it turned out to be a very easy and smooth experience. The car that Movli contracted for me was with Budget and I did not have any hiccups at the Budget counter nor during my whole rental period.
I saved a lot of money with Movli and it was a breeze!!

Everything went smoothly with the rental partner (Budget), and I was able to get all the information from the app. In addition, I was still able to use the Fast Break lane with my membership number.

Scam company
Scam company. Flight was delayed 1 hour, and Movly cancelled my booking. No refund allowed.
1) They said I needed to provide a flight number. Movly never requested my flight number. I provided ALL data that Movly requested. I was never given heads-up to provide the flight number. Movly said I was all set.
2) They said I didn't cancel the booking. Why would I cancel the booking 48 hours prior when I was planning on receiving a car. Only after I got scammed did I want a refund. And then they use sorry excuses.
3) They said to refund through the travel agent. I didn’t use a travel agent - I booked directly through Movly myself, and Movly scammed me.
4) I will not be paying this. They will be hearing from American Express.
Response - You never asked me for flight information. I was 15 minutes late because the flight was delayed. Movly never told me I had only a one hour window for pick up. That’s insane. Refund is completely expected.

All good through checkin with one major issue…
The checkin to the app was smooth and great. The 48 hour before process was also smooth. However, we were told we’d get a Mercedes C. When we arrived at Budget, they didn’t tell us what was the exact car until we went out to the garage. There we were told that “no luxury cars are available“. I guess that was the piece that should be improved. If the original car isn’t available there has to be some recompense to the customer.
Overall Excellent Experience
App was easy to use. Price was very affordable, taxes were included so no worries about a larger charge after the rental. Worked with local Budget at the airport. Everything went very smooth. They even upgraded me when they did not have the vehicle I had requested. Will definitely look here for my next car rental.

I an an old-style guy, still without a smartphone. When I realized that all Movly communications are over smartphone (with a back-door email), I tried to cancel. Hailey was very nice by trying to accommodate my circumstances and then by following my requests. And I feel that I need to have a smartphone one day.
Excellent service, extra helpful
So far, my experience with Movly has been fantastic. I have need extra help because my driver's license was due to expire, and I needed to add a day to the rental. Hayley was very helpful today. Elisabeth's note a few days ago was helpful. And whoever called yesterday was also great. I look forward to our rental in Seattle. (Price is also good).

Inaccurate pickup instructions with Budget
First, I wasn't thrilled about my reservation being handed off to a large rental company (Budget) where I would have no idea what car I would actually get. But the real issue was that the Movly reservation said that I should go to their express/VIP line, if they had one. They did, and so I was in that line for almost 30 minutes (it was still way shorter than the general line), only to be told that I was NOT eligible for the preferred line and that I had to go to the back of the general line. While I was in the general line, I overheard another party get turned away from the VIP line with a Movly reservation, and the car rental agent said this was like the 5th or 6th time that day. This added a half hour to what would have already been a multi-hour-long wait after a long flight. Movly needs to get their agreements right with their partners. Don't tell people they are eligible for special treatment/perks if that is not in fact true.

I had a problem and was unable to pick up my Movly rental car as scheduled. I lost my phone during travel to Boston and did not have a way to receive my Movly instructions on how/where to pick up the car. No one at Logan airport car rental knew anything about Movly. My problem but I ended up renting a car from another rental company at 5x the cost of Movly.
