We’ve been really impressed with MT13 and Matt. The coaching is high quality, well structured, and has made a noticeable difference to our daughter’s performance and understanding of the game.

What stands out most is the impact on her confidence and genuinely looks forward to every session. The environment is both professional and supportive, with great exposure to higher-level standards.

A fantastic coaching option, that we’d highly recommend.

My child and her friends enjoyed their time at the camp and said they learned some new skills. The team were on site well in advance setting up, the staff were very friendly, and from what I saw the children were moved between activities efficiently. There were a few periods of downtime while children were waiting for their turn, and these might perhaps have been used for simple passing practice or another light activity.

The only reason I have not given 5 stars is that the rules around teams and points did not seem to be applied consistently at the end. One child was allowed to move groups and have their points counted toward a different team for the final tally, despite having played with their original team throughout the camp. This may seem a small point, but clear and consistent rule-setting is important for children, so I felt this could have been handled better.

My daughter has completed two 2 day camps now, she has thoroughly enjoyed them, learnt loads of new skills and comes home completely exhausted. Can’t recommend enough!

My daughter Amelia has attended a number of the camps and most recently the Summer camp at Repton. She has come on so much and Matt and the team are great. She needed some more confidence and this has helped her so much. She is looking forward to the camp in October and Summer 2026!

My daughters have been attending the camps most holidays since we moved to the area in summer 2025.

Both of them love the coaches; it’s particularly great for young girls that there are such inspirational female coaches with such a high playing level coaching on every camp, alongside Matt and his team.

At the start of this year, after attending some summer camps, both of them have scored lots of goals in their first school and club sessions and look really confident on the ball. They’ve improved so much.

Over the last 7 years, both my girls have been attending 2 days camps and now as they are older attending the Elite ones.
I feel all the coaches are superb, willing to help and advise. Communication is key and Matt is always happy to go the extra mile to support. Thankyou MT13

My Daughter loves the Bristol camps. She often attends with her friends and has a good time. A good balance of learning new skills and having fun!

My 11 year old son has attended three MT13 camps now and absolutely loved them all. He loves sports, especially hockey and MT13 strikes the perfect balance of hockey education / training, with fun.

Abi is usually shy about going to things on her own. But she absolutely loved her two days with you at the St Albans camp. All the coaches were fantastic and she found everything really inclusive.

My daughter has loved her two day camp at Oakham. It was really out of her comfort zone with not knowing anyone but she came home buzzing and loved it. Will be booking on some more. Thank you

My son really enjoys the one to one training sessions with Matt - they work hard and he feels he makes real progress.

My young son attended the Colchester camp and had a blast! His hockey has markedly improved after the two day camp, He has previously done a couple of seasons of club coaching, and this camp has refined his technique and introduced new skills.

The camp organisation was very professional and very slick. The team were great, with a good ratio of coaches to kids.

Overall this camp was great value for money and I thoroughly recommend it.

Booked a one to one with Matt for my daughter at The Home. Fantastic set-up and the difference in just one hour is amazing. Subtle tweaks to hand position and foot placement with the repetition saw almost instant improvement. The video clips and advice sent over a few days later an added bonus. Slots book up fast and I can see why!

Amazing experience. Would thoroughly recommend. It was my son’s first mt13 camp but Matt and the coaching team were amazing with him and made sure he was happy and getting involved with group activities.

Structure of the camp was fantastic. Great player/coach ratio and amazing feedback and comments following the camp.
