Leigh kept me informed at each step of the process. The application process was fairly easy. Oversight on my behalf for not reading instructions properly.

Nicky, the Consultant, responded very quickly to any question or request that I made. She explained everything clearly and her updates were received frequently and on time.
I would most definitely recommend her and the organisation to anyone needing to update their British Passport.

It is not the official GOV.UK site for British Passport issues. But like me, maybe a lot of people get caught by the fact that it may look official.

So basically you pay for a passport from Europe 275 GBP
whereas the official site only charges you 145, 14 GBP.
For no benefit whatsoever. The official site tells you exactly the same as this site as what to do, what is necessary, how to send, etc. etc.The official site also helps if necessary.

As I had already paid up front I stuck with them. When it came to a couple of questions the employee was no help at all. On the site you can request a phone call - but they never called back, just repeated a mail answer I already had. The employees knowledge of the DHL Courier regulations was simply wrong.

A lesson learnt.Check web sites thouroughly and use the official sites.

I have to admit my consultant was wonderful but the process was a nightmare. My journey started on the 16th of January and after requiring my parents birth certificates and their marriage certificate. This may not sound very difficult but as I am a 72 year old man with both parents being deceased for a number of years this was a difficult task. I found out some home truths about my heritage but as member of the Royal Australian Navy then a retired member of the NSW Police Force the last thing I thought I would need was a British passport to visit my homeland. The passport office actually asked for a copy of my passport that I used to enter Australia in 1960 when my family emigrated. I must admit that as I became an Australian citizen in 1983 I thought that my British citizenship was nullified. So all this has come as a shock. I have advised friends to start early if they are in the same boat and some have decided to skip going to the UK.

Excellent experience. I was very worried about the time it would take to renew my passport from overseas as we had flights booked in 8weeks, but Hayley made facilitated the process extremely efficiently and kept me updated consistently along the way.

Turn around time was 3 weeks from submission to having my new passport delivered to Australia.
