MyCar Chermside, Brisbane - Avoid this place. I collected my car after it was left in because of a small coolant leak/repair. Immediately upon starting the car, it started to make a noise (not there before) and shaking/jumping slightly. When attempting to stop at traffic lights,my brakes failed!! I was behind a police vehicle and luckily was able to stop in time before running into the back of their vehicle. I pulled over and called MyCar Chermside who told me "to bring it back but it would be tomorrow before they get to it". I don't think the person understood the seriousness of the situation where I could have been killed because of the brakes failing and where the car should not have been on the road!! When I brought the car back to the garage (my girlfriend had to meet me there to bring me home), smoke was coming from the engine. The guys took the car in and we both noticed that liquid was spilling from the bottom of the car. When questioned, the guys said that they had poured water over the engine to "cool it down". Keep away from these guys. They obviously don't know what they are doing. My usual mechanic (who was away when the leak was being repaired) reckons that the mechanic neglected to reattach or disturbed/damaged a wire/connection relating to the brakes. I contacted head office/customer care who came back basically saying that the car is fine and they can't find any defect with it. This is after "extensive investigations" were carried out by numerous mechanics on their premises where obviously they fixed their mistake. If I could give them no stars, I would. AVOID, AVOID

They went above and beyond at Chermside. Even tho my wipers were intermittent, instead of sending me on my way they spent an entire 20mins trying to get them to fault so they could diagnose the issue. They removed the leaves from inside the wiper area for me and honestly I think that was the cause of the problem.

The man I spoke to was very polite and respectful to say the least.

The staff were so helpful on the phone as soon as I got a flat tyre. They had appointments available that day. But I needed more time, they were able to order the tyre I wanted and have it organised within 48 hours. Lovely, friendly staff too. My first time using them, but won't be going anywhere else in future. Also pricing is affordable.

Had a service there where i was also able to get a quote for fixing my side mirror, called a week later to schedule the mirror, and a week after that my car was booked and my mirror was fixed.
