I must raise a serious concern regarding the transfers.
On the first ride from the airport (approx. 1.5h), the vehicle was in very poor condition, making the journey uncomfortable.
Even more concerning, on the return transfer the driver went directly to the airport instead of the hotel at the agreed pick-up time, which put the passengers at real risk of missing the flight.
Ultimately, the service was cancelled with no alternative provided.
This level of service is unacceptable, and we cannot rely on this provider again under such circumstances.

Booked a round trip to and from Leeds Festival 2 weeks in advance via their WhatsApp chat.

They asked that I pay 100% upfront and I declined as I had not used them before, best decision! I paid a 35% deposit when I booked via a stripe link they sent over.

Problems started when I got two emails the day before my booking that they had not received my payment. I called and they referred me to a WhatsApp chat where it took too long to find my payment (even after I sent screenshots of the payment). Eventually they found the payment and confirmed the booking.

I asked for details of the driver but did not receive any response that day. Chased up the next day (day of the pickup) but still, no details…kept saying they’d send it over. Also asked multiple times when to pay the outstanding amount for the booking but they ignored this (this is important).

15 minutes before the pickup time I started messaging and eventually calling but they could not provide details of the driver, just kept saying the driver would be there “in 5 minutes”. They eventually sent details of the driver but unsurprisingly, the number did not connect.

Kept calling and kept being told the driver would be there in 5 minutes. Driver eventually showed up 30 minutes after the booking time without apology.

After drop off, I got a call telling me they’d cancelled the return trip. I think they never planned to complete this hence the refusal to take the outstanding payment. Thankfully the service was so bad that I had made alternative arrangements for the return trip as I just knew they would let me down. They would have left my family and I stranded.

Needless to say, I will never use this company again. They did refund half of the deposit for the cancelled trip.

I can understand challenges getting a driver to make the trip because of traffic but there is no excuse for the terrible communication, lies and their decision to cancel the trip without prior warning when I’m certain they decided this even before picking us up.

Car service was prompt; the company itself was easy to work with and our driver was excellent. Totally recommend.

Shocking company. Booked weeks in advance only for them to call me less than an hour before we were supposed to get to a rural wedding to cancel. Then told me I could rebook for almost double the price. Really unhelpful
And unprofessional could not advise people strongly enough to avoid!

We booked well ahead (2 wks) of a festival to ensure we could get safely home from a fairly remote venue. We paid a third of the price as deposit and received a checking message a couple of days beforehand which we responded to, to reconfirm the booking. On the night though, having received no car/driver details by 15/20 mins before pick up, we messaged to check all was ok, only to be told 5 mins before pick up that ‘we have allocated a driver for you but his car got some issue in the motorway’…as there are no motorways anywhere near east Suffolk this suggests they were a long way from meeting us at 11.45pm…then we were told a new driver would need to be sourced; then we were told there weren’t any and ‘sorry for the inconvenience’. All this via WhatsApp. While we were refunded the deposit there was no compensation for the fact we had to hunt for almost an hour to find a very expensive late night alternative. So, in short, be careful. If your aim is to be sensible and book upfront, as a third party agency Mytaxe may not be your best bet for reliability or customer service.

WARNING: AVOID MyTAXE Company at all COST! They're not even a real taxi service - they outsource drivers from elsewhere. The customer service is ATROCIOUS . They called me last minute saying the driver was unavailable and CHARGE me with an extra fee for another driver. I specifically requested a baby car seat for my 8 month old daughter (which I'd happily pay extra for), but they sent a toddler seat that was way off for her weight. And they still expected me to pay the extra fee for a service they clearly didn't deliver. Total scam! It's a rip-off, full of lies, and the service is terrible. I'd never recommend them to anyone. Uber would've been a better bet and better price!

Paid a deposit upfront for a confirmed ride then they claimed that "the provider you have reserved first is now can't do this because his car got repair" and forced me to pay an increased rate £100 more expensive. Have never had had such poor customer service and the driver tried to charge an additional amount to drop someone off earlier without deviating from our route. Could not recommend against them more strongly.

Mytaxe gave us complete peace of mind on our recent trip. All the drivers arrived ahead of schedule and were kind, courteous, and professional. Booking a taxi was incredibly easy and stress-free. I can’t recommend them enough—we will definitely be using their service again in the future!

We needed a taxi from Swindon to Cardiff owing to train failure. Excellent service. Polite driver. Very grateful.

⚠️ Terrible Experience with MyTaxe – Avoid at All Costs
Booked an early morning airport transfer with MyTaxe and got a confirmation with driver details the day before. Everything looked fine — until the taxi never showed up.

No call, no message, nothing.

I tried calling their support line — no answer. Eventually got through to someone who said they’d “check with the driver and call me back.” Never heard from them again. Had to scramble for a last-minute Uber and almost missed my flight.

When I contacted them afterwards to request a refund, they gave me the runaround for days, then just stopped replying entirely. No accountability, no apology — just silence.

This company is completely unreliable. Don’t trust your travel plans with them. There are plenty of other services out there that at least show up.

Absolute SCAM. To avoid at all cost. Booked a return from Stanstead to home for 6 with luggage and a stroller. The day before, they provided me with the driver and car details, but the car they planned had absolutely no space left when configured for 6 seats. I told them that in advance, and they said it would be ok. And guess what, the car they sent was indeed too small and they wanted me to pay extra for another car while my booking stated 6 people with luggage and a stroller... They are now refusing to refund.
Additionally, there is no customer service or management in this company. You can call anytime of the day, the manager is on lunch break at 10am or done for the day at 4pm but they still tell you to call back next day 5pm and when you do it's actually the day after in the am.... Absolute SCAM

Warning to fellow drivers:
I strongly advise all drivers to be very cautious when dealing with this company. My experience with them has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional. They asked me to complete a transfer job, promising payment afterward, but despite numerous follow-ups, I have not received any payment to date.
They keep giving excuses—saying they’ll pay “tomorrow” or “soon”—but nothing ever happens. It’s become clear they have no intention of paying me.
If you’re thinking of working with them, make sure to get full payment upfront. Do not agree to work on partial payment or promises—they simply cannot be trusted. In my opinion, they are running a scam and are taking advantage of honest drivers.
Stay away and protect yourself from fraud.

Warning warning warning this service is a scam, I booked a return journey from Manchester Airport to Liverpool a week ago was quoted a price paid up front and when i arrived at the airport they didn't pitch up, i then had to pay £100 for an airport taxi to take me to my destination.upon contacting them hours latter they apologised and said if i waited 5 minutes they would send another driver???
I then asked them to contact me and confirm the return journey before the due date, they did indeed contact me and told me that the driver they had for that journey was no longer available and i would now have to pay more money in order for them to send a car!!!!!!!
Do NOT go near this ripoff company.

This company has always treated me well, on time, reasonable rates. They have never let me down.
