Looking for building and contents insurance. My son contacted Compare the Market and he found Urban Jungle. Excellent price and sorted in 10 minutes. Excellent service.

Hard to give them a comprehensive review as I’ve not claimed for anything on my travel insurance. Annual travel insurance was supposed to auto renew (I was happy with the price) but it didn’t - I noticed payment wasn’t taken and after logging on it said my insurance has expired. Contacted them, they said they would investigate but this would take the whole day so I decided to immediately purchase a new policy. Next morning the policy then auto renewed so now I’m awaiting a refund as I’ve paid for the insurance twice.

Most concerning thing was how long I would have gone uninsured if I hadn’t alerted them to the non-renewal? Normally wouldn’t be an issue but I have active holidays booked so do not want any lapse in the holiday insurance.

Reason for the initial non-renewal was unclear: they stated there was an “issue with our systems which meant that the first renewal attempt of your policy failed which is why funds were not taken.” They seem a decent company but the experience didn’t fill me with confidence. They did offer me the option to escalate the matter with their complaints team.

I can't fault the workmanship of the two builders. Their names I have difficulty in remembering. Everything was done to perfection. I have no complaints. I highly recommend them as prior tradesmen. 31 09

Easy to arrange, simple policy, would have given 5* if it wasn’t for the con of £20 credit for friends referral, you can only use on renewals of over £60, for us that’s never.

So far very promising, but as with all insurance the test comes when someone is unfortunate to have to claim. Only then will anyone know how the post sale customer service performs.

Easy to navigate and understood

Decided to setup a policy with Urban Jungle based on their Trust Pilot ratings and online research, got to the very last page of setting the policy up, only then right before confirming the first payment instalment do they decide to let me know that I won't be insured with themselves at all but rather with Wakam UK who must have one of the worst Trust Pilot pages I have ever seen. I feel I've been misled here and have wasted the best part of an hour. HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY!
