The accommodations, food, and our main guide (Nara) were excellent, Five Stars. The logistics were challenging, with involving several flights and long drives between airports (with infuriating security hassles) and game parks. The quality of the game drives depended on the particular guide and who your fellow passenger(s) were. We would have preferred a NatHab-trained guide for every drive. Our vehicle was often the last to a sighting and therefore was at a poor vantage for seeing wildlife. While most of our fellow tour members were quite personable, we were assigned to be with another tourist for most of the trip who slowed things down considerably with his camera problems, inability to see things, frequent restroom breaks, etc. Even the best guides were spending too much time working with this person's camera issues and not enough time looking for wildlife. One guide was just poor or lazy and would take us to camps where there were elephants in chains (NOT what we came to India to see, and we let her know it) or would just stop with no obvious plan and wouldn't communicate with us what was going on. Other people in our group had better tiger sightings. One group monopolized a sighting; the leader instructed his and our vehicles to change places but they either didn’t hear or ignored him, and he didn’t exercise the clout to make it happen. One group even saw a leopard. But we nevertheless had some wonderful sightings, including tigers, rhinos, and birds. We had some superb cultural experiences as well.

My trip went very smoothly, all the staff were very helpful and friendly, the food was wonderful and best of all we saw many animals in their natural habitat.

Great knowledgeable guides

My last tip was to India to photograph tigers. What a wonderful and fantastic time. Staff was soooo good I felt well taken care of from start to finish.

What will be my last Nat Hab trip was made my trip mostly wonderful was the Excellent Guidance of Onik Morrison and her collaberative relationship with the drivers and guides! I have travelled with Nat Hab since the early 90s and find it to be one of the best!!
My reason for no longer traveling with them is the necessary transition to updating to travelers wishes and changing needs.
I also felt that descriptions of what would be provided and hiking/transport were not accurate! This made it difficult to determine whether the physical demands were too great and that alternative options would be readily available! My part of making this more difficult was overestimating my abilities at age 85 and my transition of doing everything independently and participating in a group! The primary difficulty was that to adapt to the daily schedule one had to stay at base camp or go and have to sit out activities. At least two of the days made it necessary to miss the whole day! So more accurate descriptions of conditions and what real options were would be helpful! Having said this I think Nat Hab still is one of the best, just be sure to read thoroughly and ask questions with an improvement of accuracy of descriptions.

Excellent guides and naturalist to help you discover the wonders of the areas you are in, since they are locals and people that have inhabited the area. Food was perfect and plentiful. Staff was very attentive. Accomodations are great! Every day is planned but with time for spur of the moment finds or lessons and to enjoy the discoveries. It went beyond my expectations in the Amazon and the Galapagos

We had a wonderful trip to the Galapagos with Nat Hab. The guides were wonderful, and really enhanced our visit! We experienced the tortoise reserve, many hikes, encountering awesome wildlife, and had amazing snorkeling, including snorkeling with a huge pod (~300 individuals) of porpoises migrating past our boat.

Nat Hab let us check off this bucket list item after we had been to Iceland and Norway in recent years and failed to see the Northern Lights. We benefitted from the staff's collective years of experience in guiding guests through the experience, yet they still had so much excitement and passion to share with us.

My air portion went sideways the day I was supposed to leave but on a Saturday morning, Nat Hab dove in and found an alternative, so I was able to go on my trip after all.

The Northern Lights Photo Expedition to Churchill, Manitoba was amazing! Our small group had TWO expert photographers as expedition leaders. Both Eddy Savage and Garrett Fache were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and hospitable. White Whale Lodge was a perfect place to stay, and very comfortable, especially in view of the brutal cold outside. We had warming places available at each nighttime photography site, but both guides braved the cold and wind for the duration of each session. They were impressive!

Knowledgeable and experienced guides, good loaner gear (tripods, outerwear, cold-weather tips for equipment and hands/feet). Good choice of dark-sky locations near Churchill for aurora viewing. Spotted wildlife in town and in nearby tundra/forest.

Nathab always has exceptionally knowledgeable guides, well planned excursions, and comfortable transportation. Food choices are varied and no one will walk away still hungry. In case of emergencies Nathab excels in their ability to make arrangements on the fly.

I have been on 7 Natural Habitat adventures all over the world. The concierge service they offer to book a trip is fantastic with follow up as your trip nears. The guides are outstanding… each photo trip I have been on has guides who know the ins and outs of most cameras… I’ve learned a lot about my camera and, the accommodations are excellent. I will continue to choose NatHab for my world travels.
