Galapagos with NatHab a trip of a lifetime!
Tour guides were exceptional! Knowledgeable, helpful, impressive! Boat crew was first rate, meals were delicious, plentiful, and fresh! All staff wanted us to have a great time and worked hard to make every adventure accessible, and amazing.
It was fantastic
It was fantastic. Staff was beyond fabulous tour leads very knowledgeable
It was amazing!
Little animals. Big Adventure
No surprises. We saw all the good stuff on the schedule and there were no bad surprises.
Quality adventure but on the pricey side
Nat Hab is a quality adventure travel company top to bottom. The guides we have had on our trips (about 5 trips) have been top drawer and extraordinarily helpful, knowledgable and pleasant. We will adventure with them many more times in the future. Their trips are however a bit on the pricey side compared with their competitors like Wilderness Travel (with whom we have been very pleased as well).
We had a great trip.
The best of the best!!
This was my second trip with Natural Habitat. This is a top notch tour company with locations, experiences and staff that can not be beat!! Everyone in the office from the person that answers the phone, sales staff and conceage. The location staff, fabulous tour guides, coordinator, bus driver and local guides. The hotel staff, chefs, driver, local experiences. Everyone and everything was perfect!!
The tours I took were the Tundra Lodge Adventure in Churchill to see the polar bears and Kingdom of the Monarch butterfly to see the Monarch migration in Mexico. I would highly recommend this company and the fantastic trips they offer!!
Peru is a new favorite place!
Peru is a new favorite place. I felt like I was able to see and do a variety of activities in a variety of places with the great itinerary offered in the Discover Amazon & Machu Picchu adventure, my fourth adventure with Natural Habitat Adventures. Our guides Frances and Manolo were wonderful - knowledgeable, friendly, spontaneous, caring and very organized. I appreciated the gradual introduction to higher altitudes as we traveled from Lima to the Sacred Valley, to Machu Picchu and Cusco. What a treat to enjoy and experience Machu Picchu with no concern about all the coordination efforts the NatHab team flawlessly managed (transportation, meals, train, bus and entry tickets). Hiking to top of Wayna Picchu was a lofty goal. Accomplished with hiking tips and assistance from Frances and Manolo. Thank you!
The transportation modes, accommodations, and pace were great for the entire trip. I never felt I was sitting too long or on the go too much. The rooms and meals were wonderful and I slept and ate well.
The Amazon portion of the trip was equally awesome. I enjoyed the jungle walks, canoeing, swimming, visiting indigenous communities, birding and wildlife. Staying onboard the Delfin III was a comfortable and peaceful experience. The staff is very attentive and the ship board environment was relaxed and friendly. As on all NatHab adventures, I appreciate the commitment to conservation, environmental education and the support of the local communities that NatHab embodies. And all around ‘Bravo’ to this adventure!
First Rate Travel with Nat Hab
Our Guide Francis, was one of the best guides we have had. He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, patient and a wonderful person to travel with. All of our local guides were also first rate. The itinerary was full and met all our needs - not a lot of down time! and our accommodations and meals were terrific.
Our NatHab experience was perfect in…
Our NatHab experience was perfect in every respect. Service was in all cases highly professional, genuine and friendly. All arrangements were flawless. Our experiences were spectacular. The food was superb. It could simply not have been better.
Monarch Photo Expedition
Everything about the Monarch trip was fantastic. We enjoyed the Mexican culture in Angangau, at Sierra Chincau, and at all the other places we stayed. Our guides were very informative and gave great photo tips along the way. Our group was a cohesive, small group that became close in our short time together.
Great guides
Great guides, great accommodations, well-planned trip, first-rate all the way around.
Small boat with only 16 people and 2…
Small boat with only 16 people and 2 very good guides who kept us informed and entertained. They were quite knowledgeable and helped make it one of our best trips yet
The guides were kind
We did the Winter Wildlife Adventure in Yellowstone and Jackson Hole. The guides were kind, caring and so knowledgeable. They treated us like kings and queens. They thought of everything we needed and were so helpful. The extra snacks each day were a pleasant surprise that warmed our hearts. 💕
As one who never travels with the tour…
As one who never travels with the tour group, I have to say I may never travel as an individual again! They made everything so seamless. From a logistical standpoint, before I even got to Jackson, they made sure I had the right clothing to keep warm. The right information to be informed about what was to come on the trip. Once on the trip they handled the transportation, I never touched my luggage again, I never had to make a reservation( and all the food was excellent everywhere we went). The guides were outstanding! Their knowledge of the area from Florida to fauna from history to geography and geology- they knew it all! While they regaled us with much information, they also knew when we needed quiet and to just be. That's a rarity! I think everybody's favorite was the midmorning snack. It wasn't expected but it was so well received! Also as knowledgeable as the naturalists are, their hospitality intelligence is beyond some concierge in the greatest hotels I've ever been in! Seriously, they are warm and helpful and also extremely respectful and understanding of different people's needs. I'm not sure I'll travel with any other group from now on. That's saying a lot!
What a wonderful adventure
What a wonderful adventure! Great guides, small group, remote destinations, and lots of animals and birds!
Ultimate Winter Yellowstone: Wolves and Wildlife
Our Ultimate Winter Yellowstone: Wolves & Wildlife trip was spectacular…our weather cooperated, which helped tremendously!!
Check-in/out of hotels were comfortable and seamless; the local restaurants delicious, and the itinerary balanced, in that we never felt rushed or inconvenienced. We enjoyed a private docent lead museum tour, an elk refuge and a local photographer presentation, which we probably wouldn’t have done if we hadn’t been with our group.
We were fortunate to be with family, and the small group size was perfect for us! Our guides were absolutely amazing! They were so knowledgeable, kind and personable. They were in contact with others so we were able to experience all that we were hoping to see! We were lucky enough to spot (their equipment was incredible!) wolves, coyotes, elk, all kinds of sheep and deer, a mountain lion and her kittens, eagles, swans, native birds, and so many bison!!
We can’t recommend Nat Hab enough! It really exceeded our expectations! Just fabulous!!
The staff was phenomenal
The staff was phenomenal, professional, and patient. Experiencing wintering Monarchs before they're gone was on my bucket list. I'm eternally grateful I got to experience it. One of the staff provided me following anecdote: it's as if you're in a living kaleidoscope. So true.
The Nat Hab trip to Angangueo
The Nat Hab trip to Angangueo, Mexico to the Monarch Butterflies winter habitat was exceptional. The tour leaders were excellent, everything was well planned and even when unexpected things happened, they were quick to pivot and never missed a beat. The experience with the Monarchs was simply amazing-words are inadequate to describe.

It was a trip that we normally would not have booked, however it was a fantastic trip in all aspects.
Exceptional trip to Uganda and Rwanda
