National Coach Network is a well-built platform that makes the process of submitting quotes quick, simple and efficient. From a usability point of view, it works very well and offers operators an easy way to access potential work.

That said, the main concern is the level of pricing being accepted across the platform. In many cases, the rates appear to be below what is commercially sustainable for operators who are properly accounting for the true cost of delivering the service. Running a minibus or coach operation involves far more than simply putting a vehicle on the road. Driver wages, fuel, insurance, maintenance, compliance, vehicle finance and unexpected operating costs all need to be covered within a realistic margin.

This industry only works when prices reflect the real cost of providing a safe, reliable and professional service. Continuously quoting below sustainable market levels may secure work in the short term, but it risks undermining standards and damaging the sector for everyone in the long run.

The platform itself has clear value, especially during quieter periods, but as the season becomes busier, it is important for operators to approach pricing with a full understanding of their costs and the commercial realities of the business. This is a professional service industry, and rates should reflect that accordingly.

We have worked along with National Coach Network now for a while. Communication with staff is fantastic. They are extremely helpful and willing to go above and beyond. Hopefully we have many more years working alongside other.
