Banks that are not customer oriented.…
Like most banks they are only concerned about themselves when it comes to customer service and no matter what transpires they are going to blame the customer and place a bad comment on their account. They claim to be customer oriented but in reality they are like any other institution. They care less about the circumstances and place blame on the customer.
My definition of heartless people
someone that uses a sitution against another person or places blame on someone when they are not responsible for a situation and still are treated disrespectfully because they cannot place blame on themeselves, their employess, or the true person responsible for the circumstance.
I have another word for it but not able to post it.

Sierra saves the day... and me from having a heart attack
After finding out that my debit card was frozen and I had no way of getting any of my payroll funds out.I called customer service and luckily, sierra answered and was able to help me with everything, from dealing with my snarky attitude to connecting another account So I can get my funds as quickly as tomorrow. Her customers service was so stellar.It was like talking to somebody Ive known for a long time. Nbkc found GOLD with hiring Sierra ( i vote that they give her a raise or bonus of some sort for sure). Never want to leave a perfect review.Because there should always be room for improvement.But she doesn't leave much room for that, hence the 5 stars.

Visiting the team at the Mission Farms branch has always been a treat - we've known & loved Linda & Toral forever, and they make us feel like family. Most recently though, I've met Danni, and she's a gem! Polite, professional & so dear. She's been so helpful, handling every problem (not that we have many!), and answering every question with grace & kindness. I couldn't ask for better in my banking relationships!

I was a long time customer of Bank of America. When I started my business 11 years ago, I quickly learned how they are anti-small business. To solve simple problems would turn into long hold times, transfers to multiple departments and still no guarantee that anyone would help. I finally got sick of being treated like my business didn't matter and moved to NBKC 6 or 7 years ago and have never looked back!
You can call and speak to a live person very easily. When you have a question or need help with someone, they make that VERY easy. Most of the time they can solve the problem with the people that take the calls, but when they can't, the person who gets the call takes ownership of it and you can count on them following through. They don't use AI bots to replace humans. They care about you as a customer and they understand small businesses.
Their online portal is easy to use and navigate. The most recent update made to their online system wasn't the best, but it's workable. I just love working with the people there and try to make a point of making sure their excellent customer service is known anytime I get a chance. It's so rare to work with a business that understands the value of human interaction but also taking ownership of solving issues with the customer.

I recently completed a home refinance with NBKC, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. The process was smooth, transparent, and surprisingly fast, with every step clearly explained and handled with professionalism.
A huge part of that great experience was thanks to my Loan Officer, Ryan Ament. Ryan was absolutely amazing — knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly responsive. He took the time to walk me through all my options, answered every question thoroughly, and made sure I always understood what was happening next. His guidance gave me total confidence throughout the process, and he genuinely made me feel like a priority.
If you’re considering refinancing your home, I highly recommend NBKC, and especially Ryan Ament. He turned what can often be a stressful experience into an easy, positive, and even enjoyable one. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome or the service I received.
