I'm sorry a purchased a mattress from Nectar. It was apparent after sleeping on it for a week that it was the worst mattress I ever had the displeasure to sleep on. I was sore in the morning, different parts of my body would go numb, and it was a bit painful walking the first 10 minutes after rising. Well, I thought I could just return it as their 365 day try it policy states. Not quite, they insisted I had to sleep on it for 30 days before I could return it so I could supposedly get used to it?? So I tortured myself for 30 days. Then the fun of returning it started. They backhandedly forgot to tell me that getting rid of the mattress was my problem. I had to find someone to donate it to - or, spray paint TRASH on the mattress, send them a picture of this reckless act, and have the city pick it up. I was shocked at how ecologically negligent this company is.
Back to getting it picked up. Well, guess what, in California no one will pick up a mattress; not Salvation Army, not Goodwill, not anyone. Apparently California has some mattress laws that Nectar forgot to tell me about. Sure, you can drop it off at a few locations if you can pick up 120lbs and put it in the bed of the truck you must have, but no one will pick it up. I was on the phone for a few hours trying to get someone to get this thing. It ended up in the city dump where Nectar should run its business from to cut to the chase when someone wants to return their product.
Also, don't make the mistake I did and neglect checking The Better Business Bureau before buying - they have around 500 complaints against them!

Would give zero stars if I could. My order was pushed back for almost two months despite being told my bed frame would be in stock "next week." Then told me the white glove delivery was not available for my order (despite ordering over the phone and being pitched the delivery service). Customer Service reps were very nice but not the least bit helpful in resolving my issues.

The most uncomfortable mattress of slept on is so hard is there adjustable base felt like it was sleeping on concrete. I was able to return the adjustable base and they sent me a free mattress pad, which is great but it’s still way too firm. It’s hurting my back and my shoulders. I woke it up every single night in pain. I went to return it and it said free returns and I guess I didn’t read everything, and because my granddaughter spilled when I had the mattress pad off and sheets for a second, I’m not able to return it. They were late on my shipping by a week and a half my friend came in late that one came in first and then my mattress came in even later. So unfortunately, I have to put it on the curb and eat the cost.

RUN AWAY. I rarely write any reviews online but decided to take the time to write this review to ensure no one else experiences the insane and traumatic experience that I had to experience the past 3 weeks. (3 weeks delay in shipping so far - and still no ETA on the delivery + horrifying customer service response on a daily basis leading to a severe sleep deprivation requiring prescribed medication for weeks.) I moved cross country from California to NY and timed purchasing a mattress + base combined with white glove service so that it will be ready by my first weekend here. We all know how moving can be stressful no matter when and a good night sleep was one thing I prioritized and made sure I can get it on time. So, I ordered with the customer service agent online to triple ensure that the timeline worked for the delivery and paid extra for the white glove service. Then... radio silence from them even after a few days past the promised delivery date. I've been sleeping on the cold floor with a blanket or a cheap air mattress which ended up causing a severe back pain since I expected my $4000 mattress + bed to be here in any minute, and whenever I called the customer service re: the delivery, they kept stringing me along by saying "it will be delivered soon." Now it's been 3 weeks of that broken radio response every day. By now they have exhausted all the ridiculous excuses ("the base arrived damaged so we are re sending them" "it's the third party provider who's being unreliable" "we re-shipped it but no ETA yet") and makes me wonder if they ever had anything in stock and why on earth they had to falsely advertise "In stock! 1-2 days shipping guaranteed" on the website. At least they could have informed me about the potential delay when I was placing the order on the phone with a strict timeline and I could have made a wiser choice on other platforms or prepared a better substitute for the time being. After 3 weeks of daily ridiculous angry calls engaging with them, I asked for a full refund (which they refused to since its through a white glove service) and compensation (which they did, $50 for weeks of losing sleep ha). I have not slept on the nectar mattress yet but just for this horrifying and tramuatizing experience of dealing with their irresponsible customer service, I would NOT recommend going with this mattress firm at all. This is the worst customer service I've ever dealt with for something so time and health sensitive.

I purchased my nectar mattress and foundation in March. I have repeatedly called and emailed them on various occasions. The sheets and mattress cover didn’t fit. There was sagging in the mattress and piling. The company would tell me to email specific pictures and I would. I have not resolved my issues. Frankly getting tired of calling. Just a warning DO NOT buy from this company

Do not buy this mattress. Or adjusting frame. Mattress is almost flat on one side and they won't replace it. Keep asking me for picture after picture after picture. Frams cracked 4 months in which they replaced but what a hassle.
Second purchase from Nectar will be my last
This most recent purchase was my fourth from Nectar and Siena Sleep (sister company to Nectar - both are owned by Resident Home along with DreamCloud) but it will be my last. I ordered a king hybrid mattress, bed frame, and sleep bundle on 9/2/24. The mattress and sleep bundle shipped promptly, as expected, and as Nectar represented. The bed frame, however, was back-ordered multiple times. The first back-order was fine because we had not moved into our new house yet. However, they proceeded to blow every shipping deadline that they gave me over the next three weeks, gaslighting me at every step. We moved into our new house and ended up sleeping on the new mattress on the floor for several days while we waited for the bed frame to arrive. The mattress was damaged by a small nail in the floor so now I'm waiting for a warranty claim to go through on that.
Although the call center reps are polite enough, they don't know anything more than what their system tells them and they refused to let me speak to a manager (again, politely) no matter how many times I asked. After they blew their third shipping deadline of 9/20 they finally said that it wouldn't ship until the week of 10/20 at which point I canceled the bed frame after some back and forth about swapping the bed frame that my wife wanted for a foundation that she didn't want. We ultimately ordered a bed frame from Overstock that got here in three days. Next time I will order from a non Resident Home company.

I purchased a mattress and adjustable bed frame which I like very much but unfortunately 2 to 3 weeks later the remote went bad and I contacted customer service they told me to send in a video showing that it doesn't work which I did and I sent them pictures of the serial numbers and everything they have all my information on file bed is paid in full and they're making it impossible for me to get replacement remote, because of this I will never deal with nectar again are recommend them to anybody, terrible customer service.

I placed an order on 08/25/2024 and was scheduled to get an and adjustable base. The problem was that the base was broken on the middle partition platform. Mind you I had only had the base for less than 24 hours and upon contacting customer service and providing all the tedious photos they wanted MULTIPLE times, they are refusing to give me my REFUND and rather want to send another poor quality base to me. It is absurd, I have stated several times that I want a refund, nothing more and they still send email asking me to verify my shipping address for them to reship another base. Absurd.
Do not buy from them they are shipping out poor quality items and make you go through hoops just for them to not honor their own policies.

Our shipment had been delayed 3 times I received part of my shipment the 2nd week and now they are saying it is going to take a month to get the rest of the shipment to me I am currently sleeping on a blow up mattress. Terrible purchase
Terrible purchase. After a year and a half, the side rails pulled out of the wood. When taking apart to throw in trash, discovered two big gouges in floor. The metal support posts in the center had cut right through the protective plastic caps and went inside the post, gouging two big holes in the middle of my floor. Now I need a new bed and a floor.

4 years ago my roommate and I each bought Nectar memory foam mattresses, along with an adjustable frame to help with my health issues. We talked at length to the salesman, who told us there was a promotion and that the adjustable bed frame would carry the lifelong warranty along with the mattress. A few weeks ago the frame stopped working and we could not get it to regulate. I called Nectar to be told the frame only had a 3 year warranty, so it was not covered. She went through some trouble shooting, but nothing worked. I put in a complaint, and all I keep getting is the same troubleshooting as we had already tried. I have called head office, was told basically tough it's out of warranty nothing we can do, sorry you can't speak to a manager. Do not trust this company,
Nectar Premium Hybrid NOT Even Close to"Medium Firm" - Sinks 2"+!!
We purchased a "Nectar Premium Hybrid" last September (2023) Not cheap. I was looking forward to the advertised "medium firm" support.
Sad to report it is not even close to "medium firm." The edges sag a ridiculous amount (when sitting on edge, side nearly buckles under my 128lbs). The two sides on which we typically sleep developed obvious divots with a few months.
My husband, who doesn't have the lower back and SI joint pain I experience, is now finding himself migrating every night to his edge of the bed, which--even with the above-mentioned lack of support--is better than the center of his side!
I'm now in the process of returning the mattress. I've submitted several photos that show it's pristine condition,(it's been in a zipped cover since delivery), as well as photos that show its absurd softness. While seeming to proceed with the return, they've also emailed me with several other "options" that are attempts to avoid having to refund our $$. Fair enough, but I'm sticking to my guns with this one.

good luck getting a refund from these guys. incredibly pushy customer service rep continually ignored my insistence that i did not want credit towards another mattress and instead wanted a full refund. after repeatedly telling him to stop offering me alternatives and to simply process the refund, he stopped replying to my messages and I had to follow up again to get them to give me my money back. woeful stuff.
No support
We bought this mattress for my mother who was recuperating with family after having knee replacement surgery. Well, it’s like a huge cotton ball. No support. She sat down and immediately slid right off onto the floor. It literally turned into a smushed peanut butter and jelly sandwich. And in case you’re wondering, no she’s not obese. Please be careful if you need a bed with reinforced edges and proper support.

I recently purchased a mattress, adjustable bed frame and a frame and headboard. They arrived promptly. I ended up with an "upgrade" mattress, but it was all foam and not the hybrid type that I thought would suit me best. They were out of hybrids. I like the mattress. I like the adjustable bed frame. I am disappointed that the adjustable frame and the headboard frame really do not go together after I was told they would. You end up throwing away the wood slats and the metal support bars in order for the adjustable frame to fit inside the headboard frame. This leaves the headboard frame quite flimsy and you are discarding quite a lot of what you paid for. I think they could design this better. I also got rotten batteries in the remote for the adjustable frame that were leaking chemicals which got all over my hands and the floor.
Multi-Year Review
I didn't have any issues with ordering or receiving the mattress, and I found the customer service to be quite good. However, the product itself falls short of expectations. I purchased the standard Nectar mattress during the COVID-19 lockdowns, hoping for a more relaxing sleeping experience amid the uncertainty in the world. For me, a relaxing sleep environment means staying cool throughout the night and having adequate support from the mattress.
Despite Nectar's claims that their mattress "cools" the sleeper, my experience was quite the opposite. The mattress retains heat like no other I’ve had before, making it very warm to sleep on. This was a significant disappointment, especially since temperature regulation is one of the primary features Nectar advertises. I reached out to their customer service, and they kindly sent me some cooling sheets for free. However, these sheets did not help; they felt like sleeping with plastic, which made the situation worse rather than better.
Additionally, the support of the mattress has diminished surprisingly quickly. After only three years of use, I find myself waking up uncomfortable and stiff, which was not an issue when the mattress was new. This rapid decline in support is concerning and has affected my overall sleep quality.
Given these issues, I plan to move this bed to a guest room and purchase a new mattress for myself. I will be conducting significantly more research this time to ensure I find a mattress that truly meets my needs for both cooling and support. While I appreciate Nectar's customer service, the performance and longevity of the mattress itself have been disappointing.
Nectar mattress is very deceptive…
Nectar mattress is very deceptive regarding their manufacturing process and what's contained in their mattresses.
They use FIBERGLASS as a fire retardant in their mattresses which is unsafe as it causes respiratory issues as well as skin rashes.
Nectar Mattress needs to be more transparent about this so that consumers can weigh their options when buying a mattress. Why put on a removable mattress cover if it can't be removed due to the fact it spreads fiberglass EVERYWHERE.
Decent mattress, overpriced accessories, long delivery time, bad communication
Ordered 2 twin xl copper hybrid + serenity bundle + premium adjustable base. All x2. Been using since 02/01/2024 (date of review 07/07/2024)
Shopping experience.
Ordered - January 6th, arrived on February 1st. Communication about delay? Non existent. Reaching out to them? Outright lying:
* advertising - "In stock. Ships within 2 business days"
* first communication - "we have too many orders, ships within a week or two"
* No shipment after two weeks? "Oh sorry, your mattresses are not yet manufactured; also we need to ship them from China first"
* Multiple more communications (always me reaching out to them, not the the way around). Always new dates, always dates passed without delivery being made. (3 more times)
* Ultimately delivered on February 1st
Also it looks like they always have neverending sale of some kind going.

Mattress experience.
It took around 3 weeks for mattress to "get into shape" and for me to adjust. For comparison IKEA mattresses "get into shape" in 2 days and I adjust in another day or two.
Despite everything they claim feels like 6/10 by firmness. Quite ok, but I had more firm foam-only mattresses.
After getting used to it, seems like a decent mattress for a price (1300 for twin xl). 7/10 I'd say.
Premier adjustable base experience.
(For me the price was 999). Base is pretty good, adjusting as it should. Legs consist of 3 sections, so height (from the floor) is somewhat adjustable too. Not sure "premium" worth it though.
Separately adjustable head/foot elevation works great. I'm not a fan of zero gravity position, but my wife likes it very much.
USB ports are slow for charging (good enough for overnight) and unreliable - one of mine is always causing the phone to go "charging for a second - not charging at all - charging for a second".
Massage is just one vibrating block. Next to useless in my opinion.
Under bed is jus a small LED strip with around 10 different colors. No timer on that one.
Overall 9/10. Not sure "premium" features are worth additional $100 but base is still good.
Serenity sleep bundle experience.
In a word: it is a scam.
Cooling pillow worth $125?
* It's not cooling at all
* Nothing like on pictures
* I have $7 pillow from IKEA that is *worlds* better than this abomination
* I have $70 real cooling pillow from IKEA that is incomparably better than this piece of junk (starting with the fact that IKEA one is actually cooling)
Overall: 0/10. I literally have better experience sleeping on my bundled up hoodie than with this so-called pillow.
Breathable mattress protector worth $149?
* It's not breathable - I literally can't feel the cooling top of the mattress through it. And that's even without putting a bed linen on top of it.
* It is not big enough for twin xl. It fits, but very easily comes undone after a night or two. And if you wanna use zero gravity position? That's a guarantee that you will need to refit this thing again.
Sheet set for $175?
I don't even know what to say at this point. Go, buy a set on Amazon for $25 and you will have superior version.
Mattress Cover Leaked & Ruined Bed; Denied Claim Originally
They initially denied our claim but relented because of the failure of their mattress "protector" (their wording). They are sending a new bed, which is the right thing to do. This went from a 1-star to a 3-star review.
They did not have a "mattress protector" in stock. I'm speculating that it may have been a quality control issue.
In any event, they are refunding me $50 for that, and I will purchase one on my own,

We were excited when we purchased our beds in July and October 2023 - 2 separate purchases.
Both came with a mattress cover they provided that is supposed to protect against leaks, stains, etc. Their cover did a terrible job and, as a result, has likely ruined the bed.
Unfortunately, our dog wet itself on the bed with the cover on. The cover did not hold up as expected and leaked into the mattress.
When we contacted customer service about this, their online chats kept disconnecting, and we finally got an email asking for these things...

In order to get this taken care of, I’ll need the following:
A photo of the entire mattress surface (bird's eye view, preferably), with no sheets or other bed linens on it. If you're unable to capture the full surface in one image, multiple images are OK as long as the entire mattress surface can be seen in the combined photos. If your mattress comes with a zipper cover, do not remove it. This is part of the mattress and needs to stay on the mattress.

Photos of both (2) white mattress tags. Both tags are sewn on top of one another and are located near the bottom of your mattress. If they're stuck together, please separate them. I need to be able to read the information contained on the tags, so please send clear, legible photos.

We have done this and have since heard NOTHING back from the company in about a week.
If you say you stand by your product, then stand by it. It took me having to go nuclear to get the company to pay attention to my concern. This isn't the first instance of their sub-par customer service.
When we received our second bed in October, it was not nearly as comfortable as the first. We wanted to return it, but Nectar insisted on sending a pad for the bed. While it is OK, it is not ideal and does not make the bed as comfortable as the first.
