Had a letter informing for me of a fine I’d received 4 years ago (driving in a bus lane somewhere 😢) which had gone to my old address. Threatening me with bailiffs.
Phoned for details, awful chap on the phone, would NOT let me speak, i just wanted clarification on a few things etc. started shouting at me and if I didn’t pay today “madam things will get a whole lot worse for you “. Unreal. I asked if we could just have a nice kind civil chat but he proceeded to put the phone down on me. Upsetting.

Zero rating for this scummer how can they be allowed to run as business of thieves. They want to come to my shop and take my property to sell many thanks to Leicester city coucil. Can't wait for them to come. The council passed my details to them now thats is another story to be told next time. This company reminds me of the dog when i was little who only barked but no action.

Charing my credit card £100 instalments without any correspondence, forewarning or customer interaction. I now have to contact them to show they have the wrong person. Bunch of idiots.

Its harassment ill tell you what if one more agent harasses me for buying a debt from the shady scummy councils should be illegal selling and buying debt only benefits the debters and buyers not the person who is getting maliciously abused by the poor system we have in place. It sickens me that people can take a job up with newlyn and think they're a good human being afterwards sort your heads out you bunch of maggots.

I cannot believe how rude the handler (Matthew) was on the phone. I very politely asked for the complaints details as i was shocked by his attitude, he then proceeded to hang up on me.
I was going to raise a formal complaint, but then i looked online and realised Newlyn don't care and it would achieve nothing. So what else can be done other than leave a review here.. absolutely shocking.

Dumb enforcement agent with the I.D 1883 posted aletter through my door which wasn't even for me. When I called to ask why he had the cheek to ask me to post it to the correct address the dumbass and then became abusive. I called newlyn to speak to someone Senior regarding there agents Conduct but yet to speak to someone.

come this morning to my house and start to hit my door so hard ( and I have two kids in the house sleeping ) at 6:30am in the morning off course my kids got so scared and panic this is not normal .. my son can stop crying from the scared when he hit hardy the door at 6am in the morning pls investigate it this is not normal plus was so rude even didn’t listen our conversation

Set of clowns don't be intimidated by the idle threats they have very very little power to do anything park ur car away from the house if you own it and dont let them cretins in, talk to them through the letter box and send them away with their tails between legs or better yet just don't even acknowledge them. Don't be intimidated by the fancy dress some of them sadacts like to wear either attempting to make themselves look like police with handcuffs, wired earpieces etc, its all a prop don't fall for it.

I started to receive out of the blue text messages phone calls and a voice mail they did not outline what or who they’re looking for ? I don’t have any debt with anybody!!
I had to call newlyn plc who offered a lame apology there’s a written one in the post very distressing and appalling behaviour all I received was a lame excuse as they had my number wrong

ignored my requested over the phone so emailed to have proof i had been contacting them. I emailed 3 times all of which were ignored. Had a bailiff knock at my door this morning asking for £515, spoke to the bailiff and he wasnt even told i had contacted the Newlyns 3 times. Apparently now its been passed on theres nothing we can do and had the phone put down on us. now spent the whole day off work trying to sort this issue out with no luck making me spend the whole day having a panic/anxiety attack. VILE COMPANY

If there’s a Zero star I would have chosen that. I have already closed my account with Ealing Council and my balance is Zero.. Now Newlyn is still contacting me to pay an additional cost pf £235 for the enforcement agent who said went to the property where I no longer live. They live off from adding to people’s debt! Instead of having a reasonable payment plan this company will rip you off!

Just had my first experience with Newlyn PLC and their APR/bailiffs. I am extremely shaken up, frustrated and emabbrassed with the approach and there service. No identification was presented and I wad threaten over the phone with further charges but I was not shown any proof from rude manner agent at Newlyn PLC. No letters regarding or notice of clamping the car or info, just image of sent from Bailiffs phone to show proof. I was unaware of the clamps on the car, no note was left on the vehicle or at my door. As agent was acting suspicious and circling my car he alerted the attention of my next door neighbour who asked him what is he doing and he disclosed my private information and this situation and requested my neighbour to reach out to me whilst he was in the background listening to the call. This is definitely harassment and bullying and I don't believe is best practice.

I also received bulling and intimidating techniques and text and rude manner dialogue on the phone and rude comments. I also explained this is my first experience so I don't understand the procedures which was explained. No warrant was presented at any time or option of a payment plan to setup or partial payment. No Identification was shown. I explained my finances in regards to the payment which was ignored and replied with I have called the recovery truck but again no proof. I explained that I was at work and I can partial payment, threaten again with the recovery truck will be here in hour and you have to pay more charges.

There enforces Adrain threatened me several times with no proof of the recover truck being called that have ex amount minus before the truck arrives. I rang their friendly helpline, which is no help at all. The refused to help and are in favour of the APR/bailiffs. They acknowledge that I can setup a payment plan but said its up to the APR/bailiffs and replied that I need to talk to him and ask, which he replied no and I asked several times and my finances and I was further told that minutes are reducing and that you car will be recovered but again no proof was shown. Also I had to borrow the money to pay in full the new increased charge which I was notified about.

Absolutely SHOCKING customer service. Rude and AGRESSIVE. The man was shouting non stop not allowing me to speak AT ALL. I been really nice and polite, in fact calling to let them know THAT A PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE.
They run a TORTUROUS system that will make your life HELL with the amount of texts, phone calls and emails.
Received a letter saying that MY CAR would be taken. WHAT CAR??? I DONT HAVE A CAR. I don’t even drive!!!!

I can confirm what everyone is saying—Newlyn's customer service is truly appalling. I spoke with Ruh today, and she had absolutely no customer service skills or understanding of how to hold a civilised conversation. She constantly interrupted me, even after I politely asked her not to. While I allowed her to finish her sentences, she repeatedly cut me off and refused to let me finish mine.

And this was regarding a Notice of Enforcement I received without ever receiving the original PCN on which it was based.

Telephone advisors unbelievable rude and abnoxious let alone the tone truly awful.
I had a Pcn for £120 paid 2 instalments for £40 on time ,had one left that I missed on 28th, I was clamped on the 3rd for £461 if I didn’t pay would of gone to the pound with another £246 on top. Criminal .
