I had decided long before completion in our new build that I would hire a snagger and chose Ryan after seeing he was recommended by many others in the development.
Ryan provided a very professional and friendly service before and after the day of the booking. He was very thorough and meticulous with his work. For me it’s a no brainer, I would recommend anyone moving in to a new build to hire Next Step Snagging; it’s a small price compared to your house purchase.

We were quite nervous going into our new build inspection, as you never really know what standard you are going to get with new builds.

Ryan did an exceptional job from start to finish. He was very communicative and happy to answer any questions we had, explaining everything clearly along the way. He was incredibly thorough and ended up spending eight hours at our house, which is far beyond what we expected.

Thanks to his background, Ryan has a huge amount of knowledge. He knew exactly what to look for, how issues might be fixed, and what to ask the developer for when it came to specific repairs. He picked up on things we would never have thought of ourselves.

On top of all that, he was genuinely lovely, professional, and reassuring throughout the whole process. My partner and I would not hesitate to highly recommend him.

Fantastic service provided by Ryan and would throughly recommend. Upon initial enquiry Ryan came back with a prompt, clear explanation of the types of survey that are offered and guidance on which to go for.

We were kept updated upon arrival on the day of the survey, a photo to check the house was correct before starting the survey and a message to say all done.

Ryan attended our property very promptly and was very thorough in his inspection. He was very polite and provided advice on urgent issues that needed attention. Used Ryan to carry out a snagging survey on our new build and found him to be very efficient and thorough. Ryan`s report was very clear with photographs illustrating the issues found and which trade would rectify them. His report was sent to us immediately on completion of the snagging survey. Ryan has done an amazing job with my snagging report. The report is very clear, with each issue detailed and supported by photos, making everything easy to understand. He was also extremely patient, taking the time to explain everything upfront before I confirmed the snagging survey, and again after I received the report.

I cannot recommend Ryan and Next Steps Snagging highly enough! Ahead of our appointment he spotted that I had booked the wrong type of survey (oops) and called me immediately to explain the different types and the one I actually needed, which I really appreciated. On the day - thorough is not a good enough word! He spent all day at my house checking it over and the report that followed was very clearly broken down by room and type of issue. Whilst there, he gave my partner and I tips about things to consider moving into a new build that hadn’t even crossed our minds.
