I thoroughly enjoyed the 2391-52 course that was taught by Lee! He was fantastic and really made the subject understandable which I believe has made a better electrician!

The practical assessment was led by Neil which was also brilliant! Thank you so much to both of you for all the lessons and knowledge I will use for years to come!!

Unfair assessment and stop my application. Applied with NAPIT and got approved. Not recommend for others. At the end NICEIC is limited private company. Poor customer service and got no where with my complaint.

I recently attended a 3-day Electrical Fundamentals for Maintenance Operatives course provided by Berkley Care Group.

The training was very interesting, detailed, and well delivered. It provided valuable knowledge that will be useful in day-to-day maintenance work.

I would also like to highlight a few positive points:

Halal meals were arranged for Muslim attendees upon request, which was greatly appreciated.
Hot drinks were available throughout the day without restriction.
The overall environment was very good, creating a comfortable learning experience.
There was plenty of parking available, making access easy for attendees.

Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I found the course both informative and well organised.

I attended the amendment 4 course on Friday and felt it was a waste of time and money. It lasted the whole day which could have easily been a 2 hour course. The course was filled with material from previous amendments. Whilst I agree it is good to refresh, this was a course regarding amendment 4.

The tutor was nice but I am not sure she had delivered the course before as she mostly read from the slides .

Overall, very disappointing and I would not recommend this course.

Glenn is a good tutor. He follows up with student progress and is always ready to give extra explanations to any student who must have got distracted or misunderstood information or lecture.

Unfortunately the delivery of the course was very poor at Gatwick. A lot of time wasted talking about anything but EV charger installation.

Attended a ev charging course and was utterly disappointed in the teacher, after the exam not one of the people in the class was confident they would pass & all agreed we had learned nothing from the day! We usually use trade skills 4 u for all our training, decided to give the nic a go but won't be going back to trade skills next time.

I don't like to give negative feed back but hope that this is taken constructively.
I attended yesterday and was greeted extremely well
We were in place and set down on time and were ready for action.
Our trainer then spoke to each member of the group asking were we were from, about football, about the town and what super power we had. While i understand that its important to communicate etc etc etc I also understand that this took over half an hour that could have been spent on course content.
There was also one candidate that was very negative and questioned everything with examples and scenarios as if the world was out to get him. While I also understand that put the trainer in a very difficult position maybe the trainers could be given help on how to handle this situation as the rest of the group were giving up the will to live.

Attended the EV installers one day tuition and exam and felt the day lacked any real tuition.
By the time the exam came along most students including myself had very little knowledge of what would be in the exam or what it is we had actually learnt that was relevant to the actual qualification.

I have taken part in many exams with TSFU always obtaining over a 90% pass rate. This exam was passed with 64% which is very disappointing and would have been much lower had I not had previous knowledge of the installation practice.

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with NICEIC has been extremely disappointing.

The organisation talks a lot about supporting contractors and promoting mental health, but in reality the processes and approach I’ve experienced have caused unnecessary stress and frustration. Communication has been formal and polished, but ultimately unhelpful when it comes to resolving genuine concerns.

After raising a complaint and providing supporting evidence, the response was simply that events could not be “independently verified,” so no further action would be taken. This felt like a convenient way to close the issue rather than properly address it.

I was then told a further assessment was required, along with an additional fee, despite the circumstances surrounding the original assessment still being unresolved. While this may align with their internal processes, it feels overly rigid and commercially driven rather than fair or supportive.

Overall, the experience has left me feeling that contractors are treated more like a revenue stream than valued members. I would strongly encourage others to fully consider their options before committing.

Very disappointing.

Glenn was a pleasure to learn from. He explained everything clearly and made it easy to understand. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to complete their BS 7671 18th Edition training.

The updates were made practically applicable and were helpful.

Informative and good instructor

I'll start with the positive. In terms of support offered by NICEIC for us as a company they are great. No issues at all and our inspector is supportive and accessible.
However!
The new certification system is an absolute travesty.
Lost work on numerous occasions slow, constant updates, search bar is absolutely crap, and the increase in time filling out certificates is becoming costly. The old system was fine and the old saying if it aint broke dont fix it comes to mind.
When you see other certification software with AI capability and auto populating fields from a picture they make this new software look like a joke.
A huge step backward from NICEIC.
For the amount we pay, the least they can do is provide us with a streamlined user friendly certification platform.

Lee is very good trainer. he explained easy to understand.

Was not a very good course at all. As usual NIC taking our money and not really getting much from it.

Issues with internet connection to carry out exam.

Teacher not having the correct books, borrowing from one of the people there to do course.

Not able to carry out mock papers before exam due to no internet.

Once started exam some people still not able to log on due to no internet.

Teacher also just left course once started exam so when it did all go wrong he wasn't there to help sort it out.

Great course, with a great location in Telford.
