very good company, easy booking and pick up and return was great. Helpful staff, had airport transfer. overall great service would definitely use this company again.

Very good car, very quick efficient when picking up and the rep we dealed with was very pleasant, they allowed me to return after hours on a Sunday could not have been happier. They pointed out previous damage I couldn't even see so they were very honest at the pickup. They returned the bond immediately. Will definitely use them again.

Important read this before you attempt to rent a car with them.
Sadly I did not do any research before I put my trust on this dodgy company over the typical main ones such as: alamo , avis, budget… just to save a few dollars... Well… that cost me well over 4,500 aud. It was by far the worst customer experience I’ve ever had in 30+ years. I’ve been in 60+ countries and I never seen anything like that, not even in third world countries where I rented cars and motorbikes. They not only kept my bond 500$ and they also forced me to pay 3,992$ out of pocket. (keep reading)

In may I rented a 4wd car to explore the beautiful australian west coast for 10+ days. I paid the highest insurance that they offer, which is the combined insurance. The car they gave me had a faulty clutch and no longer worked after only 3 days on the road trip being stuck in a remote town of western australia (coral bay hostel). With a useless car I attempted to call them 15+ times during business hours and nothing. From them just emails saying that the insurance does not cover anything and I’m liable for all the costs. They forced me to pay a tow + repairs of their faulty car without any replacement car nor any other solution at all. When this happens to you in a remote town in west australia that is going to be a real nightmare if you're in their hands.
-they just want your money that’s all, they don’t give an absolute crap about the customer.
In my case, the tow + repair of their faulty car was 3.6k+ gst total near 4,000 aud (see pictures attached on google reviews).

They assured me by email and also by phone call that would reimburse the tow + repair paid out of pocket by myself. Once the report from the mechanic was provided. Of course, they did not reimburse anything at all and they also did not return the pre-paid 500$ bond.

Please be mindful before you give them your money. If you’re lucky, you might save 100$ - 200$ at best, over any of the main rental car rental big brand as long as nothing adverse happens to you. However, if something goes wrong then expect an endless nightmare! Def not worth it! Be smart, do yourself a favour. Do a research before you hand them your credit card details.

This company is not up to the standards of western world country like Australia, they do not even meet the standards of a third world banana republic. They claim to be running for over 15 years haha it's just unreal.

Horrible company, they offer an insurance that doesn’t cover much, and they specify that windscreen damage is not covered. Sadly on May way back to return the car in the high way, a Little Rock crack the windscreen and for my suprise after a week they sent me the invoice for the repair, charging me $1500,0. Which is completely out of proportion.
I will not recommend to anyone to rent a car with them, it is a scam. Go with any other company, avoid them.

The hire car rate was so much cheaper, our vehicle was ready on time, suited our purpose, the staff were great and friendly and kept us updated.

Having used lots of rental trucks I found their truck suited my needs better. Ease of pick-up and service station near by.

Easy to arrange, got confirmation back that all submitted paperwork was received and in order. Got after hours key pick details morning g of the pickup and it really was easy. Car well presented and the return was quick and easy, then to finish it all the bus shuttle back to the airport dropped me right to my terminal with ample time to catch my flight. Stress free from the start to finish, will definitely use Northside rentals again.

Poor customer service. They do free shuttle runs for customers to the airport but wouldn't drop us only 1km down the road even though the shuttle driver volunteered to and we had huge bags, the manager said no and stopped him.
They hung onto my Aus$1,000 deposit for over 2 weeks for no reason and with no apology or explanation despite chasingthis on several occasions. Really poor customer service all round.

We hired a Mitsubishi ASX for just under 3 weeks with Northside Rentals, where we picked up from the Greenwood site. The staff were super friendly and helpful and made all the imporant information really easy to understand. The car was absolutely perfect for our trip and we would not hesitate to hire another car from them. Thank you!

Very disappointing with this organization this rental car company. Picked up the car the car was not filled with petrol, and l had to stop and fill close to$30 worth of petrol, ask to be reimbursed, the response give that in the condition report it shows a photo of the petrol level and I'm to fill it to that level, a guessing game!?? not to mention my photo was completely blurry and the person couldn't be bothered to take another photo and send me a good photo that I could actually see the indication and so I ring up the company and ask can you give me the methodologies of how I am to guess where to fill the petrol seeing you're not going to give me a reimbursement. All the person could do was argue the point deflect my concern and then tell me I was giving him a hard time and hung up on me. In the whole 30 something years that I have been hiring cars I've never come across such poor service not only that when I spoke to them last night and asked them where they were at the airport which they aren't actually at the airport it was a $40 ride in a taxi, in speaking from the airport I was not told there were shuttle buses. So even though this company says they are located at the airport they are far from the airport. This organisation is the worst I've ever hired cars from and I've hired cars all around the world and in my own country it's disgraceful. In the 21century a person has to guess to fuel up a car, that speaks scam to me, and if it's not enough they'll hit your credit card with some astronomical unrealistic figure. That they've guessed... Ridiculously disappointing and I would not recommend this organization to anyone. Customer service was all about deflecting and the guy taking my conversation person, certainly was not solution driven at all. The further on looking over my contracted to work out my allotment of Km I find my contract tells me almost 200km as the starting figure more than the blurry photo they emailed. How is that? So onto them again to fix that up mistake as the daily kilometre rate is 100km I guess I'd have had my credit card carded their excess if I'd not pick it up. Basic maths skills a line of 5 numbers. Oh boy...

Hired the 12 seater for a reasonable price. Delivered in clean condition and great drive. Used after hours pickup which was very easy and return was simple. Highly recommend!!!

The rental prices are awesome. The cars are immaculate. The staff were very knowledgeable. The only downside was the location for pick up and drop off. Very satisfied.

The staff at Northside rentals Greenwood, where professional, friendly and easy to deal with. The truck was spotless inside, easy to drive and we used very little fuel during our run. Our overall experience was fabulous, easy and would highly recommend.
