I don't often write reviews, however I found Owen to be so helpful not only in the free advice he gave but also in the total amount he saved both myself and my collective neighbours in stress and anxiety. Our freeholder put in plans to create more flats on top of us and Owen meticulously went through the application in relation to all planning policies etc for our borough. It was so impressive. It resulted in the application being refused. When the freeholder tried a second time all the neighbours affected agreed to get straight back in touch with the Objection expert and this ended up in the freeholder withdrawing his application!!. I have recommended Owen to everyone I know, it is well worth the money and the investment in your piece of mind and property.

Owen did a great job in our fight to prevent unwanted development next door to us, he listened to our concerns and made sure we had our best foot forward in our objections. I have recommended to many friends.

I’m no expert on planning objections so depended on you for support when my neighbour submitted an application that would have been terribly overbearing and block a lot of light into my home (which is in a conservation area). I used your excellent objection that you’d submitted for me, to assist in discussions with the parish council in my village and neighbours. I had support from the parish council and had 6 objections to the plans.
The application has now been withdrawn and I hope any revised plans will take my home into account!

Our neighbours had put in for planning permission for a 3 bedroom dormer to he built in their back garden. It would have been looking directly into my lounge and bedroom. I sent Owen photos of both gardens and he wrote a full letter of objection on my behalf to the Council.
I'm positive that the objections he came up with were the reason my neighbours withdrew their application.
It really helped having Owen to object on my behalf as I could never have written anything so effectively.

What an incredible,
knowledgeable and professional service has been provided by Owen.
We found his company by 'Googling'.
This was after spending several stressful days working out how we could best object to our next-door neighbour’s planning application.
Their application was for a 7.4mtrs long double story extension which started 1m from our rear garden side 2m high fence boundary. However, it also transpired that the full depth of the proposed extension was 11.4 metres wide!
We contacted Owen and shared the Planning Application Council Reference number, and he immediately checked it and after his initial review he responded with his fee and terms of business.
We felt under time pressure, but we were assured by our communications with Owen that we had made the correct decision to appoint him.
Owen drafted the letter of objection within 3 days, addressing all of our concerns and more. Whilst doing this, he maintained a professional manner and always responded very quickly. After our approval he submitted immediately our formal complaint to the Council.
He also checked and advised any subsequent letters that we submitted directly in support of our objection.
Using Owen completely reduced the stress involved, in our objection, and it was money very well invested.
We believe by using Owen a professional consultant who is fully aware of all the necessary Planning Rules and Regulations definitely, helped us to obtain a sucessful FULL-REFUSAL.
If they appeal and it goes into round 2 we would have absolutely no hesitation in using Owen again.

We 'googled' objection experts and found Owen. The reviews looked promising and so we contacted him for advice.
We live in a very rural village and planning had been submitted for two self build units in the field backing on to us which are part of the Blackdown National Landscape.
With Owens knowledge and understanding, planning was refused on many grounds which were all in Owens report.

From the start, Owen listened to our worries and was then able to create an eloquent and powerful document which referred to all the right policies, using all the right language.

I found Owen to be very experienced, direct and to the point. He created the draft objection letter in just a day or two, and following our review he issued the letter to the council on our behalf. He is clearly very experienced in matters of planning and objecting to such plans. He felt we had a very strong case, and so it proved - we're very pleased to say that the objection was successful.

Owen helped us to object to a proposed erection of a 6m deep x 4.7m high monstrosity right on the boundary of our properties. This would have massively affected the light, view from our property, adversely affecting the enjoyment and value of our property. Owen advised us and put in an objection on our behalf. Job done as it was refused on the basis he outlined. The objection was put into "Planning Dept" speak, making reference to the various Acts, guidelines and protocols in place. Worth every penny. It took the worry away from us and I suspect there will be a "Round Two", in which case I will be contacting Owen again.

Great! Dreadful issues with crazy developments next door. Owen challenged an application for permitted development of an oversized extension and to a tight deadline. We and two other sets of neighbours also submitted our objections, on what common sense and a reading of the rules would say were valid grounds. Owen succeeded where we all failed. So glad we used him! You cannot win the game, in fact you can’t even play, unless you know the rules. Owen knows the rules. Inside out, backwards, probably in ancient Greek too! Currently enlisting his help to block a different but related application.

Owen was fantastic and I would highly recommend his services. An undesirable individual submitted an application for planning permission to build a monstrous two-storey extension on the house next door. Having objected to a similar carbuncle previously in layman's terms and having been brushed aside by the council planning committee I knew I needed expert help.
