Due to the over tightening by the delivery driver, the thread on the cap was ripped out. I found the cap on the grass some days later having been blown off. An essential bit of kit which keeps the rain out of the tank and oil. Found one at a sensible price at OTW. Ordering was esay and it was received within 48 hours. Thanks

Easily located the part I needed. Ordered and delivered to the door, quality item very pleased.
TheRoyal Mail sent me regular updates as the item was sent further and further from me. After a lengthy tour of Yorkshire it finally made it to Carlisle and then to me. But the vendor cannot help with the vagaries of Royal Mail!

The tank is good value and well made
The tank is good as expected and offered good value with all the fittings. The delivery staff were very helpful in organising a suitable delivery date and it was delivered by a very helpful independent delivery truck driver.

Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service. They refused to accept a return of a Watchman oil tank monitor unused and still in its packaging as I was 7 days over their 14 day return policy.

We do try to be fair and flexible with returns where possible. In this case, the Watchman was purchased as a replacement, but your original unit later started working again and the return request was made well outside of our returns period.
Because Watchman monitors are battery-powered products, we cannot accept them back after that length of time, even unused, as we cannot guarantee the battery condition for the next customer. We hope you understand this decision is not to be difficult, but to make sure every customer receives a brand new unit in the best possible condition.
We do not feel this is a fair reflection of our customer service. Customer service is something we take huge pride in, and our other reviews regularly highlight how outstanding our customer service is.

Customer service you want

Next day Tom you honed me to say he was on way to post a replacement which arrived within 48hrs. Things don’t go as planned sometimes but it’s how a business reacts that makes a difference. Even just having someone call rather than an email. Little things count and I would thoroughly recommend Oil Tank Warehouse to others.
