Update: I just verified my Trust Pilot account exactly with the same steps that Onfido uses. TrustPilot used verriff.me - It worked the first time as it should. This proves that the Onfido app is a broken software.

The only way to get rid of a social cancer like this is to all of us band together and us the legal system to remove the company and its service. For decades the system of Identification for online sales has worked. Password, two step verification and State issued ID. Onfido is enguaged in a Chinese Social Credit Score system. At every purchase thru a great company called AFFIRM I have been thwarted from using the free market space. For loans less than $1000 I have had to scan in my ID and then give a camera head shot. That processed only worked ONCE out of dozens of attempts.

The app does not work. I am sending a letter to Congress to ask that this type of invasive technology be removed from the United States. Specifically that the technology be watched dogged by the FBI.

Blocking paying customers like myself from the FREE market space hurts companies like AFFIRM. They lose millions of dollars in revenue do to the low quality high risk service of Onfido. Affirm trades on the stock exchange under the symbol AFRM.

During this time the Onfido app has been plagued with even more problems. In short people can not access their credit line because the Onfido app will not let them verify. The verification process of photo ID and then a head scan in to AI is an Orwelian Nightmare come true.

For decades the verification process of social security number, state issued ID and two step verification has worked. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon and Apple all use this form of verification. They are billion dollar a quarter companies.

Smaller companies like Affirm are locked in to this blackhole gateway and they too are suffering do to their customers being blocked at the free market.

Got Denied for verification with no way to fix it. This software does not work. I dont understand how companies are using this to verify identities..

What a BS product got permanently rejected from Revolut due to their shi* system making my phone crash 3 times in a row. And shame on you Revolut for working with these losers.

Via WorldRemit moesten we ons identificeren zodat we geld konden sturen naar familie. Ook via Onfido, wat een ellende. Dat zo een bedrijf wordt toegelaten tot dit soort gevoelige informatie en er dan zo een grote bende chaos van maken.. wat een super slecht bedrijf en amateuristsch. Krijgt alleen maar connection errors en problemen. WorldRemit is al moeilijk te bereiken maar deze fake onfido is helemaal super slechte software.

Scares the living day lights out of me that banks who want to handle 100s of thousands of pounds use this utterly useless software. I ended up with a bank account that was not my first choice for my business. All due to the fact that Business banking is now online and this time wasting system fails to work.
How any responsible company handling anyone's money can just sit back and find this ok is astonishing!

Took 50 images of my passport with Onfido to get verified in Resolut. Images are perfectly OK, yet images keep geeting rejected. I tried inside, outside, natural light, studio lighting. Nothing works until I realized this technology simply doesn't work and is absolut cr@#. Can't believe why Resolut works with such mediocre fintec companies. Gave up on both Onfido and Resolut after multiple attempts. Worst experience ever.

Absolute rubbish - cannot execute due to low memory. This is on a new Android phone. I just wish Revolut would stop using this faulty software.

The worst experience I have ever had while trying to verify my identity. Despite having scans of my documents handy, I had to take pictures of them with my mobile. The useless software was not capable of taking a picture of my actual passport photo page, and then the selfie mode did not actually work (black bar covering half the photo in portrait mode, and a requirement to have Inspector Gadget arms in order to keep my head in the oval in landscape mode (and the controls for taking the photo were then off the phone screen with no zooming out allowed)). Verification then failed multiple times.

If I ever have to use their services again I think that I will reconsider doing business with whatever company is using them for ID verification.

Run a credit check on me - for no reason ! I have not applied for any credit anywhere yet they have run a search on me ! Not happy, unable to find out why they are searching my files. Very dodgy to put it politely. Zero stars.

onfido was responsible for vetting my registration with ukmeds and with no explanation declined me.i am73yo with a bank account 57 yrs on the electoral register absolutely no rea son whatsoever to refuse and insult my integrity.

ukmeds can offe rno explanation i contacted UKMEDS who referred me to the vetting company.Having explained in great detail I received notification someone would be assigned toinvestigate.

What do I reveive ? A bland fob-off kicking a legitimate complaint in to the long grass telling me to use another device! How do i rate it 0? It doesn't work and there is no path for when it fails. No way to contact anyone. No way to progress. Don't waste money on this integration and more over don't anger your customers by subjecting them to this utter complete garbage of a solution.

Boost's verification ID method using Onfido keeps crash and have many problems setting up. need to improve their OS system.

Ces gens ne savent pas faire. Le drame c''est qu'ils travaillent avec plusieurs boutiques qui perdent des clients, par épuisement. Il faut tout simplement demander un scan original de l'identité qui est beaucoup plus net que la copie d'un téléphone qui est floue à chaque fois. Il est absolument anormal qu'au bout de 10 copies l'image est toujours floue. A jeter.

Onfido is the worst software garbage I've ever had to try and navigate through. I had to give 1 star as that is the least possible, it should be in minus figures.

Onfido meldt, ID ontvangen en controleer het en druk vervolgens op VERZEND.
Maar gegevens om te controleren zie ik niet en de VERZEND knop is er ook niet.
Waardeloos bedrijf, dat Leaseplan Bank hiermee in zee gaat!!!!!

Probeer een rek te openen bij BUNQ. Gewoon je ID scannen, dat is natuurlijk niet genoeg, zij gebruiken ONFIDO om daarmee je video camera plaatje te vergelijken met je plaatje op je ID. Zou maar 3 minuten duren, nou het werden 3 uur alles bij elkaar. ID plaatjes uploaden, prima. maar ONFIDO web app kon maar niet bij mijn camera, terwijl ik er wel vrolijk mijn paspoort mee kon scannen en uploaden. Wat een K**T software. Chrome browser had alle permissions, android 13 pixel 6a. Uiteindelijk mijn oude pixel3a android 12 werkte wel, zelfde permissions.... Ik wil en hoef al NIKS meer met BUNQ, zo'n incapabel bedrijf wil ik niets mee te maken hebben. Zegt alles over BUNQ dat ze zo'n rommel software aankopen en gebruiken.

Opnieuw identificeren Leaseplanbank lukt niet. Leaseplanbank zelf is onbereikbaar voor hulp. Je wordt afgescheept met niet werkende chatbot. Telefoon wordt niet opgenomen en op mail wordt niet gereageerd. Onfido moet dit proces uitvoeren. Dit is geen Nederlands bedrijf en ook onbereikbaar. Overheid legt beleid op en dit simpele proces van opnieuw identificeren is voor een bank met zijn partner al te moeilijk

Krijg bericht dat ik voor de leaseplanbank opnieuw het 'identificatieproces door moet'. Dat gaat via ONFIDO. Aan de slag en krijg steeds foutmeldingen: foto zou zijn afgesneden, document was niet helemaal zichtbaar etc. Dan eindelijk werkt het, maar blijft het geheel draaien en krijg ik weer een foutmelding. Dan via de site van leaseplanbank bij het kopje gegevens. Ook hier lukt het niet en zie ik '....er is iets fout gegaan...!'. Waarom gaat deze bank met zo'n bedrijf in zee. Morgen een app naar de bank. Ik heb wel wat beters te doen.

Wat een ellende ... voor leaseplan bank moet ik me opnieuw identificeren.
Met een app die gespecialiseerd is in AI. Haha dan kan ie makkelijker al mijn gegevens distribueren over de hele wereld. Het lijkt ook helemaal geen Nederlands bedrijf te zijn. Dus ik weet helemaal niet waar mijn gegevens terecht komen of verkocht worden. Laat de overheid grote jongens/berijven gaan controleren, maar de gewone mens die iedere 100 euro moet verantwoorden eens een keer met rust laten. Wat een totale onzin.
