We are just waiting to board our flight home from India and thought I would write a review before getting back to reality.
We travelled to the Maldives, Malaysia, Thailand and India to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We weren't even sure where we wanted to go and to say that Ricky was patient is an understatement! In edition to helping us make our final decisions, (always giving us different options at different price points), we were booked to fly via Dubai and so thought we wouldn't be able to go after all.
The mark of a company is what happens when there are problems, of course nobody could have predicted all the no fly zones but Ricky and the team contacted us rather than us having to chase them. They managed to completely reroute all our flights for us whilst still enabling us to have our dream holiday.
Everything from start to finish was seamless, Airport transfers, each hotel notified it was our 25th anniversary trip, itineraries etc. Even when we had trouble getting our Indian visa they stepped in and sorted it for us. We truly had the happiest trip of a lifetime and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone and will certainly use Optimus travel again.

I had one of the best holidays in my life I took my daughter to Japan last week it was totally organised by Ricky from Optimus holidays Ricky had basically organised all the trips transport flights everything and it went like clockwork we had a fantastic experience everyday and was lucky enough to see the cherry blossom and a very clear day at Mount Fuji so a big thank you to Kenny and Ricky I will be talking to you very soon as my others daughter now wants to go on a safari so thanks again lads

I had reached out to a few different companies but the service received from Kenny at Optimus made the decision to book with them very easy.
Arranging travel for 4 very particular ladies meant a lot of back and forth, changes and questions.
Nothing was too much trouble - big shout out to Kenny for being just great at his job!

Optimus travel is my one and only, go to travel agents. Very competitive pricing and the personal touch given by the staff is second to none. Very helpful with the requirements of the various places we go to. We normally book our cruise and flights with them, but we have just returned from a 3 week tour of India. Hotels were out of this world, 3 of them were former palaces converted to hotels. Kenny put the itinerary together for us and it was fantastic. Private drivers, local tour guides upon arrival of our destinations. From horse riding in the foot hills of the Himalayas to the Taj Mahal. The whole holiday went like clockwork. Can't recommend these enough.

Crystal has been absolutely amazing, always goes out her way to find us the best holidays she can. Her service is incredible, we were always kept informed and well looked after. Would recommend Optimus holidays to all 🥰

Just had all information needed for our holiday to the south Pacific cruise at last,flights, hotels etc.very pleased now we know what's happening.

When you are using a company for the first time for an expensive holiday it can be a gamble.
However Ricky was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful which helped us to decide to use Optimus Holidays.
Even after we booked the holiday on several occasions we had additional questions, we had Ricky's personnel number and he always answered promptly and never made us feel that we were a nuisance.
Our holiday was fantastic and everything run to plan, all the hotels were as advertised extremely clean and in good locations.
We can honestly say that we had an exceptional holiday experience.
One piece of constructive criticism is that for the bullet train from Tokyo to Kyoto it would have been helpful & less confusing if the Train station and address had been mentioned/highlighted.

I have booked my holidays with Optimas, in advance for February 2027 Ricky was very professional helpful sorting out making all arrangements and amendments as I requested I recommend any one to deal with him and I shall leave further reviews after having my holidays

What Can I say? Well, so far my experience with Optimus Holidays has been nothing short of exceptional, and here's why!

I was looking for a holiday trip for my 60th for me and my boy, a trip where the both of us will have great memories of, a complete change from the usual annual breaks in and around Europe that we can have any year, so cut a long story short, my son being into everything Japanese kept hinting Japan, so I was scouting the internet for the best deals, where to go, flights etc, a family member recommended Optimus Holidays as they too had just booked their holiday for later in the year to Japan through Optimus, so after looking through the reviews on Trustpilot I thought ok lets give them a try!

Now bare in mind I have never booked a holiday like this through or dealt with an online independent agent like Optimus before, so it was a first, I was a bit anxious/cautious but went for it and sent them a WhatsApp message and with in minutes got a reply back from Ricky, well at this point all I can say is I am so happy I made the jump and contacted them.

Again cutting the long story even shorter lol, I am not the easiest person to negotiate with, I, like most probably want the best, but being somewhere never travelled to before, my decision making was all over the place for dates, where to stay, hotels, flights etc, poor Ricky I had given him 4 different date changes, then booked it... great all done!... or so I thought! 😬

I then did some review searching over night on the places we were staying, which I really should have done before booking, but anyway, I became anxious from the reviews of the place we were booked into for the last 5 nights, which was not in Japan btw, so started thinking what have I done, I want to change it, but can I, now I have booked and paid, so following morning I thought "nothing to lose" and messaged Ricky 🫣 to see what, if anything, could be done to change the booking, I was anticipating a "nothing, its too late now" or "yes but its going to cost you loads" guess what? No, not that at all, Ricky was a diamond and nothing was too much trouble for him, he knew these trips are special for a lot of people, us included, and just went that extra mile to accommodate what we wanted, yes it cost a little extra, not because Ricky was making more money from us, infact he tried to do his best to keep it the same, but because of the places we chose were more expensive and had chosen to stay in Japan for the duration and see more of the Japanese culture and because of this I am no longer anxious, but so looking forward to the dream holiday for me and especially my boy!

Sorry for the short/long story but just need to say, so far, I could not recommend the services of Optimus Holidays enough, especially that of Ricky, with his patience of a saint too 😎! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ricky was extremely good at sorting out my booking as I was trying to this while negotiating and attending medical appointments and changing my initial request …rang back every time on time when he said he would .. very knowledgeable great help … will certainly use him again

I had an amazing time thanks to the exceptional and personalised organisation from Kenny. Nothing went wrong with any of the planning and booking and I felt well looked after, which enabled me to really relax and enjoy the journey and all the fabulous experiences. It was definitely a trip of a lifetime, especially as I hadn’t travelled long haul on my own for over thirty years. I would love to do this sort of thing again.

Ricky was incredible, nothing was too much trouble in helping me book our “once in a lifetime” surprise holiday for my husband, after 20 years together, I was looking for an fun filled adventure for us to share. We haven’t been yet we are due to fly in Sept26 but can recommend Optimus and Ricky for their booking service - I will update this review once we have been on the holiday too! Our trip is a Canada and USA city hop, with four cities and lots of flights and a train to coordinate, Ricky was invaluable; beyond patience with me, he clearly cared enough to ensure we got exactly what we wanted and so knowledgeable. Thank you again Ricky, you are the best and we are very much looking forward to our trip. We will be looking to book more holidays through you in the future.

I have recently returned from my solo trip to Bali, Sydney and a wonderful Princess cruise around New Zealand. I had an amazing time and it was carefully planned and personalised by Eric, who was always there to help, he offered great customer service and was courteous and friendly, I would definitely use Optimus travel again.

Contacted Optimus following an email received with a good price for a med cruise. Spoke to Ricky who gave us excellent service, didn’t hassle us to make a quick decision. He was very flexible and accommodating when I changed what I wanted, got a good deal, happy with the price and excellent customer service. Will definitely use Optimus holidays again.

This is the first time I have used Optimus holidays and Ricky has been a brilliant help with organising our trip to Japan. Nothing was too much trouble. As we live in Cyprus he arranged for flights from Cyprus to Tokyo, rather than returning to the UK to start our holiday. He was so extremely helpful with every step of the journey. Our holiday is now secured for Sept and looking forward to a great adventure.
I wouldn't hesitate to use this company in the future.
