Total scam of a product. Website is full of fake information on how good these boots are. Extremely cheap in every way. Flat non-supportive insole, thin vinyl upper. Not even worth $5, let alone $6... Mehr ansehen

Terrible customer service, not true to size, poor quality
I ordered two pairs of boots. They did not fit, although I ordered 1/2 size larger. I sent an email to customer service requesting instructions on how to exchange......with no response. Also, the quality of the material was not as expected, very flimsy. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE SHOES!
OrthoEva is a scam site, don't order from them
OrthoEva is a scam site that has cheated me out of almost $160. I ordered 3 pairs on sale, around $40 as I recall if you bought 3, but my bill is higher. My credit card record lists no phone number with the credit card payment, very unusual. As other have experienced, the shoes were too small, no support as advertised, horrible epoxy smell, and on top of it no paperwork. They arrived late, as my family members arrived for the holidays, and I was too busy to deal with this until holidays were over, and had to store them outside for fear of poisoning myself. Finding no paperwork with a contact for OrthoEva, and no purchase record on email, I searched and feel lucky to have found more information on Trustpilot yesterday. I'm shocked to see how many others were taken in by this disreputable company. I won't bother returning, might give them away if the smell goes away, and will consider this a hard but memorable lesson in online shopping.
If I could give it a negative 100 I…
If I could give it a negative 100 I would. Their shoes are of EXTREMELY POOR quality.
It is completely intentional on their part to show well made leather shoes and send cheap ones with poor form and fit as well as being sprayed with an overwhelming leather scent. They are based in China so can't be returned. SCAM.
As soon as I opened the package I knew…
As soon as I opened the package I knew I had made a mistake. The stench of cheap plastic was overwhelming. They are advertised as orthotic but there was nothing orthotic about them. Then, when I tried to return them I discovered it would cost more to return them than what I paid for them initially.
Pretty but cheap shoes
I bought 2 pairs of boots. They are cheaply made and very narrow. Neither pair fit.
It cost me $58 to return to CHINA. OrthoEva does not pay for returns.
The shoes are not true to size
The shoes are not true to size, much smaller and NOT wide, as stated. The return policy is strange. I want a refund and will return them, but NOT to Asia, as instructed. I would never use this company again.
Successfully Disputed the Charge with Visa
I ordered the Ortho Eva shoes through a Facebook ad and consider it basically a scam. They disguised the fact that the shoes come from China and any returns have to be sent to China, making them unreturnable. They were very poor quality. I contacted about returning them and was given the address in China. At that point I contacted Visa. I managed to file a dispute with my credit card company and the dispute was settled in my favor and my money returned.
Just junk!
I ordered a pair of Melinda Boots from Ortho Eva because in the photo they look so cute, and I was deceived by the name of the company. I should have done more research.
First of all, there is nothing "orthopedic" in these boots. The insoles are completely flat, with no padding at all. The zippers are the cheapest possible, with lots of hanging threads that make closing and opening them difficult.
I am vegan, and I buy vegan "leather" shoes all the time, but these boots look like they are made of plastic. They are shiny and fake looking. Not quite patent leather shiny, but close.
Although shipping was free, Ortho Eva footwear is made in China, and to return the boots, I would have to ship them to China. Much of my refund would go to the USPS, not to me.
I would strongly suggest that people NOT buy from this company.
Terrible shoes
Terrible. Extremely poor materials, nothing orthopedic about these flat, smelly shoes, and when I tried to return them they told me I had 14 days from delivery to send them back to China at my own expense. UPS said it would be between $200 and $300, so I couldn't. I lost about $100 on these horrible shoes.
I would give zero stars if I could
I would give zero stars if I could. Cheaply made, smelled like petroleum. Threw them in the garbage as to return them, I would have to pay postage to China. What a scam!
Rip-off? Scam? Don't Waste your Time or Money!
#2: Wide box. I have a standard medium foot -- I could barely get my foot IN the boot, let alone zip it.
Lifetime return: Email about returning them says I have 14 days, I pay for shipping, no labels -- and the return is to CHINA!
Material feels like cheesy plastic.
Don't buy these!
Very misleading. These shoes are at least 2 sizes too small. They said returns are easy. Returns are to China! You pay a fortune. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!!
If I could give a zero
If I could give a zero, I would. This is an absolute scam, using the ortho title to deceive. There is nothing orthotic about their boots. The leather is actually plastic, the sizes run small, the soles have absolutely no support or wearability to them. They do not supply details about returns until after you have purchased the product and then they have to be returned to China which costs over $300 using UPS. Do not buy any of these products or anything advertised on Facebook.
This website is a scam!
The boots I received did not look like the photo on the website. They looked like shiny plastic and smelled like it too. They were also way too small. The website provided a return address in China which is where I was required to send them. It turns out that the cost to send them back was over $100! This website is a scam 😡
Warning! DO NOT BUY FROM ORTHO EVA
Warning!! Do not order from Ortho Eva! It is junk. I recently placed and order with the reputable company Orthofeet, and then received a promotion for Ortho Eva. I mistakenly thought I was buying from Orthofeet and placed the order. The boots are extremely cheap and very uncomfortable. I followed instructions for returning, which was at my expense, and was sent an address in China. Between the shipping and 20% restocking fee it will cost me more to send them than it cost me to buy them in the first place.
Scam Company
Edited to add: I hope everyone who is writing these reviews is also reporting the FB page as a SCAM. (I wish we could all give ZERO stars.)
After impulse buying these shoes, I immediately had buyer's remorse when red flags popped up.
I got an alert from my CC saying I had purchased something billed to (the) Netherlands.
There were no tax or shipping charges.
No half sizes.
I replied to the order confirmation email requesting that they cancel my order and was told that was not possible, but I could return them for any reason once the package arrived.
I called my bank right away and was advised to file a dispute, which I did.
The shoes were shipped from China via "Yanwen Express" so, no, they were NOT made in the USA or shipped from the USA. Tracking was abysmal, at best. Legit companies will show/tell you exactly where your package is during the transit.
I had a family member video the un-bagging (yes, they arrived in a plastic bag). The shoes were NOT leather, as claimed. More of a cheap, plastic material with a very thin liner and no sole cushioning. One zipper didn't work, and I had to fight with the other 3 (2 on each side).
The company actually had the nerve to email me and ask me to remove my dispute. Since it costs $30-40 to ship them back to China, I'll just throw them in the trash.
Terrible shoes
As many have said, I wish I'd read more about this company and the shoes before I purchased. I fell for the 'buy one, get another half price' gimmick at check out. They are too small, terribly flimsy, cheap, and look nothing like the images. To return anything you have to foot the bill back to China. Please stay away!
Zero stars, total rip off
If zero stars were an option it would not be low enough.
I am disgusted that I was taken in by this company,
They sent shoes that did not look like the photo. They sent the wrong size. I purchased shoes with a black sole. They sent ones with a weird sickly beige color.
They will allow you to PAY to send back their shoes all of the way to China. I determined that this would most likely to be a rip off and throwing good money after bad
These are cheap shoes that even the cheapest discount store in the USA would not sell.
Also doing business as Ortho Amy
With same trash shoes
This company is shady and their products are not worth buying
First off, I thought I canceled my order without completing it because I began having doubts about the product. But 2 weeks later I received a package I wasn’t expecting and it was the shoes I didn’t think I ordered. They were smaller than the size I ordered (although I couldn’t find a size anywhere on the shoe). They advertised a supportive sole and roomy toe box but the soles had no support at all and the toe was very narrow. The material is basically plastic and the zippers barely work. There was no order number enclosed (required for a return) and I have no email or text from them confirming the order and order number.
Ive emailed them twice through the website and haven’t received a response. I am totally dissatisfied and would like to give them zero stars.
Scammers in China
Ordered and need to return, not knowing came from China. No order number or return address found. The stank is overwhelming and you can smell the poison coming off them. BEWARE!!!
Never order from anything FB advertises again.
